This channel absolutely inspires me to take on evening school wood working and carpentry, and start making my own furniture from scrap wood after I retire in 2030. My dad was a lifetime carpenter/furniture maker. And I used to help him when I could. As a result I'm one of those women who has no problem using a saw and a hamer but don't ask me to knit or sew something 😆
If I didn't watch these videos from start to finish, I would never in a million years believe these beautiful creations were made from scrap. Your exceptional skills truly turn something people consider bonfire wood into something people would take pride in owning for a very long time.
I am a scavenger by nature due to the influence of my father, a child of the depression, never passing up a pile of wood, a broken down dresser, coffee table and so on. But you, my friend, are the king of taking what others consider nothing worth their time and effort and turning it into absolute beauty. You are King Midas with the golden touch indeed! More power to you. I am always looking forward to your next video where you can wow me with your brilliance!
Epic upcycling uploads a new video. Yep... it's time to make coffee, get comfy in the couch and watch a man from the other side of the world make something awesome. No talking. Occasionally a well placed acoustic guitar piece. You know, life ain't so bad. Partly thanks to you. Keep 'em coming, sir. The biscuits bit was brilliant!!!!
Not only did my jaw hit the floor when I realized the craftsmanship and artistry that was being displayed in this video, it crashed THROUGH the floor and continued through several apartments below. This sort of complexity is UNHEARD OF, but it is obvious how each little piece adds to the strength of the piece. Well done!
Now you're just showing off *[lol]* 😉 and making most craftsman blush with envy/embarrassment, while at the same time making pallets everywhere *smile with pride,* b/c they know this "beauty" was once seen as mere utility wood, and headed for the scrap pile. Nicely done Jason; *God bless.*

I'm running out of superlatives, Jason! How you outdo yourself every time is surreal and uberepic. Loved all the mixed joinery, especially the half lap dovetails and your patience with the chisel work on the trim, well deserving of a biscuit break! Just as you began carving on the first panel, I was about to comment that I couldn’t understand how in the world your back endured doing that painstaking work, all while standing… then it showed you sitting in a workshop chair - and it’s the first time I’ve noticed you sitting while working.
