  • A steampunk-inspired bookcase made from scrap copper, brass pallets and junk. I wanted a bookcase with a Victorian industrial engineering look to keep loads of different things on, not just books. Made from pine and oak pallet wood, other scrap wood, copper from a hot water cylinder, and scrap brass.

Absolutely beautiful piece. Worthy of any gallery anywhere. And the addition of the old books and decor just brought it up a while nother level. Furniture is meant to be used. And when used for its purpose, is elevated. Absolutely awesome job. Love the artistic way you filmed the implication of the tedious parts of repetition as well. So glad I SUB'd. Had to watch this twice, fantastic workmanship, makes me wonder what you could do with oak or ebony! Or even pitch pine, great job, absolutely in awe of your work.

I often find and keep pieces of solid wood thrown away by builders. Also pallets are omnipresent. If I had a car I would get pallets home too. So many materials are discarded.😉🤓🌹

What a beautiful piece of furniture. Words can't describe the beauty and how amazing it looks in its place. I've totally enjoyed each video I've watched Jason and the efforts are limitless when it comes to the joinery involved. Absolutely superb video mate 👍🏼👍🏼

All your dedicated work on those half rounds really anchored the eyes to settle in on the copper/brass trim and wood tones. Loved the Rubik cube scene. Once again an "Epic" piece of outstanding design and craftsman/artisan-ship! You must make plans otherwise no human could cut and assemble all those joints and trim pieces. Thank You Very Much for sharing these amazing projects and excellent videography with us!

Amazing, I just love watching your videos. I am a trained Carpenter and I dont think I would have the patience you have to work through all the detail work by hand, I would have to use more power tools 😁😁. I am still hoping for that video on making those shotgun cartridge handles 😁
all the very best and stay safe
