Another very enjoyable video James. You're the only well known angler who over the years has bucked the trend and consistently put out videos on our rivers and how to fish them in varying conditions and I for one thank you and Chappy for doing that. Roll on your next one.
Another excellent video James, lovely to see Monty attentively watching the fish coming into the net. I have enjoyed watching all your vids, right back to the Shaky days.
I really enjoy these river video's James, too many people just do commercial fishery video's and they can be a bit boring at times. That being said none of the Cadence video's have been boring. Far from it, Chappy's camera work is second to none and watching you fish is a pleasure. Keep up the great work James, Chappy and Cadence.
E Miff cheers...slomo camera has come back to life as you can see. Video is different from stills but you can see how my years of working as a stills photographer influences things I think.
Brilliant demonstration of plumbing up and fishing two lines on the pole. Very pleasurable video and a difficult challenge for the conditions on that section at Barford. Well done again boys well filmed Chappy and great tips from James. Nice to see Monty trying to hide under the seatbox.
Another great video on a tricky day. I think that for beginners this is one of the harder methods to fish, and you do need a high spec pole to fish long and retain control! But it can be done at shorter range if the deep water is within reach. I bet you enjoyed that beer James after wrestling with the long pole in the heat! I’m glad to see Ian has his slow motion camera back in use and when I started watching my iPad froze on the opening shot of the roach in James’ hand and the quality was fantastic. I really enjoy these video’s and look forward to James’ steady simple presentation and Ian’s superb camera work, nice to see Monty back as well. Regards Bill

Good Morning! Beautiful video Congratulations! Have a great week and good fishing. *HUG!* 👍🎣
Great video as always fellas, good to see Monty was 'helping' so much, star of the show as always lol. I have to admit to nearly having a kitten when you put the single section under your backside sure made your comment about the strength of the pole real.
Thanks Mark. Nice comment. I think what it boils down to is that James focuses on the correct aspects of the sport, and makes sure they are done correctly. Too many anglers focus on the wrong things like the what colour something is or how much things weigh, stuff like that. All the best, Chappy. ( I make him look good too lololol)
We have (or I have) a stipulation when we think about making a video and that is "Always prioritize the catching of fish". What this means in practise is that we try and stack the odds in our favour in terms of swim choice in regard to prevailing conditions. This usually ensures that James doesn't blank. However, last winter in particular, we did bite off more than we could chew and failed on two occasions. Could we have planned better? Maybe yes, and we have learned from the errors, as all sensibile anglers should, and hope not to repeat them. So it's all about good info' obtained beforehand, combined with experience. On rivers, there is always the chance of a 'failure' but like I said, we always try to choose somewhere where the chances of catching are high. Not always easy, but we have to justify all the costs involved fuel, baits, my time, James's time, all of which are not inconsiderable. Chappy.
Cadence Fishing UK Good to know. Informative and entertaining. I always pick up lots of tips. I'm straight on to EBay, buying terminal tackle that James uses....and of course, I have a Cadence reel.
Great to hear you can support Cadence with some purchases Mark. Principally, Cadence make rods, reels and poles, so James is mindful to be truthful about the terminal tackle choices he opts for. After all, he has no reason to not be.
Excellent video lovely to watch fishing on the rivers. If you have any knowledge of fishing the flat float that would be great to see how you put the rigs together video is hard to find on this subject in English it's a method that works very well here in Norfolk but learning this method has been a year or more now stumbling about to really master it like i said great vids about if we talk Italian or polish anyway thanks looking forward to the next film

These video`s are the best James, thank you for such great entertainment
The pole looks great wished I could afford one! really enjoyed the video guys. Hope that beer was cold, and well deserved.
barry sutton treat yourself Barry, you can't take it with you 😉
I'd be strung up spending over a grand on a pole Chappy, it's more than my car is worth LOL. I'll see what father Christmas brings.... You never know.
barry sutton I'd like one myself but camera gear takes precedence currently.😌
Lovely video, as usual. Great work boys!
Excellent as always. Top angler, always makes it look easy.

Yeah that would be a great topic video
Excellent yet again
oggybwfc1 can the whites make a winning start?
Cadence Fishing UK Yes it was a joy to behold, the season does mess up my fishing matches though.
Hi James
Is there any reason you use pinkies in the groundbait rather than squatts?
On the Avon I find squats attract a smaller size of fish. I’m trying to catch the bigger size roach and prefer feeding with casters and pinkies.
@@cadencefishinguk Thanks for the reply James.
Great video again but please James get an arm and pole sock it was making me nervous watching you put your pole on floor
Adam Thrall it's a tough piece of kit😁
Hi Adam, yes I probably should use a pole sock and will dig it out! Monty is the main danger🙈
