These Cadence videos are my favourite, especially on rivers. Having had the dubious pleasure of being battered by Mr Robbins on the Bolo, on the next peg, with him using the new cadence 18ft rod (at the time a prototype ), on the tidal Trent in a Riverfest qualifier, I can 100% say that this guy can fish, and the rods aint too shabby either !.
Loved it .. proper fishing , finesse and always making adjustments to try to give the fish what they want and the conditions... proper watercraft .. in my opinion
Absolutely fantastic video again brought to us by chappy and james always packed with information and tips plus we get great camera work by chappy i really enjoyed this video while I'm on my break at work wish i was on the bank thanks guys for all the hard work in producing this video very much appreciated i would be happy with any cadence rod ALIEN
Thanks for reply fished marcliff for 45 years and knew that peg was not on marcliff itself. Next time try the peg above the canal cutting above weir. 20lb of perch roach and Dace on the cards or barbel on feeder absolute monsters great vids. Very impressed with cadence tackle purchased so far.
Regarding bread - putting in feed with a swimfeeder draws fish down to the river bed, but flake on a size 12 could be wafting 2 feet off bottom. Could try pinching a bb a few inches from the hook-bait to take it down to the stream of food from the swimfeeder.
James yet again another excellent video very informative as usual. I fish the Avon regularly and no how hard it can be but as usual you make it look so easy. Please keep the videos coming many thanks Richard 👍
i would like to see you make a video perhaps further down the avon . bredon , mythe area would be great james as i fish these areas quite often so it would be great to learn some tips, tricks etc on these stretches
hi james . if you were to fish at say mythe etc , what would your approach be as there are obviously plenty of bream to be had but also plenty of roach on hemp , tares etc
As I sat and enjoyed this video, I became increasingly aware that it didn't 'feel' right. The fishing is good, James is how we expect him to be, the cadence gear is great, even the fish were normal. And in the closing few minutes it became clear to mo just what wasn't right, Monty wasn't adding his extra bit to the show. I hope he's alright.
Graham Nash Hi Graham, yes thanks Monty’s fine! He was on home duties that day😍 am sure he’ll be back on duty for the next video👍. Cheers James and Monty
@@smitbar11 That was my original thinking. Did you know that Dave Roberts also takes his dog to the bank. A lovely black spaniel called Monty. Great minds, and all that.
Great video again . There was a time years ago if you didn't get to marcliffe before 4.00am you couldn't get a peg! Were you above the weir or below it?
Because cows use that peg molehill soil in the groundbait with full red small worm lob and joker will be kilker there allyear round ill bet my last penny
*Alex* V-i-P Hi Alex, no cows in the field or that peg, just us wading around in the mud after all the floods. I do agree that worms and soil in GB would have worked. We try and show different methods and baits in our videos to keep them interesting. I actually think the best method on the day may have been fishing bread punch on the pole. It’s always easy to say after the event though and I was desperate to fish a float on running line. Was a tough day but still enjoyed it. Cheers James
@@cadencefishinguk arrr i just saw the what looked like the tell tale sign of thirsty bovine traffic. Lol do a video on using dead reds and joker plz and maybe how to get the most from a imitation bait or adding flavour or scents to the silicone fake baits plz and maybe how you setup without spooking the swim b4 starting a session. thanks ps you are very similar to my best friend that i always fished with and grew up with who has passed away. You have similar voice and lojs and nature from what I've seen in videos ild love to wet a line with someone ive not been out fishing with someone else in around 3 years now but have been alone few times last year on canal. Well tight lines thanks for replying so positively it helped my low mood a bit. 🌊🎣
All the beauty of this is in its apparent simplicity. Love it
Another great video James. I love the 'Pro Dog' boxes you keep your feeders in, good to see Monty contributing to your sport :)

Thanks James for a great session overview. Always a pleasure to view.
Another great video from the Cadence team of James and Chappy. Well done chaps. Tight Lines Steve Amison

Great video as ever James, makes me want to get my rods out of retirement. Keep up the good work mate.
Well done James enjoyed that top man 👍
Not 100% if mentioned below but your accuracy of casting under arm is unreal! Literally hitting the same spot time after time
He was good at javelin too😄
Great vid,I fish avon @Pershore a lot it would be great to see you do a vid there.Cant see Monty today hope hes all good.
I think the Flat Float fishing one on the Cadence Channel might be Pershore?
It certainly is Pershore Duncan
Great video guys.... I have my first river match in 15yrs shortly, and it's on the Avon,so this will be watched several times in the coming weeks!
Always keep an open mindset.👍

It's been in our plans for ages, but when it's been in the fields so often, we've just not had a chance, but it will happen at some point no doubt 👍
@@cadencefishinguk im hoping so . would be very interested to see your aproach to these venues as they lend themselves to so many different methods

I fish the river Weaver so something to keep in mind thanks for another great video James
Upper, middle or lower Weaver?

@@cadencefishinguk With all that mud on the bank / in the peg, I reckon he would have got covered in it...
Spent the day with his mummy😄

Paul Harrison Hi Paul, we fished upstream of the car park towards Bidford-on-Avon. Cheers James
Now its very warm winter in Ukraine) but we can't sitting on the bank just in hoodie ))) what a fantastic climate in England!
Cool temperate western margin. That's UK. Influenced on all sides by the sea, keeps things mild... mostly...but boy does it rain!!!! 👍😄
Where was Monty???
With his mummy👍
