  • James is in the Cadence Fishing TV hot seat for this video. We join him on his favourite River Avon which has been subject to high water levels for months making sport tricky! However, there are ways and means to catching a decent bag of fish from most pegs and he covers them in great detail in the video. Although not a bag up session by any stretch of the imagination, the end result could well have got him a section of frame score on a match day. Watch and learn from the master!

All the beauty of this is in its apparent simplicity. Love it

These Cadence videos are my favourite, especially on rivers. Having had the dubious pleasure of being battered by Mr Robbins on the Bolo, on the next peg, with him using the new cadence 18ft rod (at the time a prototype ), on the tidal Trent in a Riverfest qualifier, I can 100% say that this guy can fish, and the rods aint too shabby either !.

James yet again another excellent video very informative as usual. I fish the Avon regularly and no how hard it can be but as usual you make it look so easy. Please keep the videos coming many thanks Richard 👍

Thanks for reply fished marcliff for 45 years and knew that peg was not on marcliff itself. Next time try the peg above the canal cutting above weir. 20lb of perch roach and Dace on the cards or barbel on feeder absolute monsters great vids. Very impressed with cadence tackle purchased so far.

Not 100% if mentioned below but your accuracy of casting under arm is unreal! Literally hitting the same spot time after time
