    Right on fam. Ima try those methods. I don’t know why after I chop and warp the last keys sound wobbly and clicking😡 make me miss how easy serato sample is. Ima get it right tho💪🏾

      I am so glad this could point you in the right direction. I used to have that same problem until I figured it out. You can add a tail to your samples as well.

    For some reason whenever I go to process it won’t give me the time stretch option. Anybody have any idea why?

    • @CDMESD

      That happens sometimes. Are you using a MPC One or Live 2?

  • @craigersuis

    I thought it was an issue with the samples I was using because they were human and i could not get the timing right because it was digital

    • @CDMESD
      @CDMESD  Месяц назад

      Thanks for watching bro. No, you have to figure out the cadences and the bpm of the vocal speech by tapping the tempo. Then, you can timestretch better.

    You Can Also Get Your Sample loop Just ah Little Short of Where You Want it, Then Add Tail Length... 200, 300, 400, 900 Millisec.

      Thanks for the tip. This is big for many beginners. Especially when you don't want that sample to end early.

    Why don't you use the metronome to help keep track of timing? And even though your time stretching process worked...you definitely counted the bars differently than I've seen others count, and how I count bars as a Dj( I count differently now for samples via production)... which also gives correct results...I struggle with time stretching and warp, especially with the way I like to lay my tracks and samples... I sometimes use short chops, and I like to sequence in double time EX: if the sample is 75bpms, I want my sequence to be 150bpms, ( I like the way the drums fall into place especially at 1/16 time signature) but if I have the true bpm of the sample warped, then it'll speed up wayyy too fast to use, then I have to do some other crazzzy adjustments to have the samples play correctly... also when I warp, sometimes I can choose the multiple or ALL selection, pending on how many chops I use... for simple loops, I'll just use individual... just becomes sooo time consuming at times...which can lead to frustration...or even scrapping a project ... But I'm gonna try a few of your methods and see how it plays out... Thanks for sharing! #Salute Dj Skillz - From Philly, PA

    • @CDMESD
      @CDMESD  8 месяцев назад +1

      What’s DJ Skills, I count the bars the way I do because I am a drummer. Plus I am use to making beats in the 60 to 95 range. You also asked why don’t I use the metronome. I hear the drums and the metronome in my head. Quarter Notes, half notes, whole notes. I can hear it.
      In terms of my trap beats, I will have a BPM around 115 to 180. You can add a lot of elements.
