Thank you brother,I was using the warp feature in my MPC, and was not pleased with the artifacts. This is a clean straight forward way of doing it,works perfectly. NOW I WILL GO BACK INTO MY FIRST SESSIONS I DID AND REPROGRAM USING THE TIME STRETCH FEATURE.. THANK YOU BROTHER..GOD BLESS YOU.
Something I learned you can right click the sample in your sound collection and choose to add to voice track I do that to see if I meet where I want the length of my samples to be
Bro I appreciate you sharing your time and your knowledge, but let me ask you this question. Ive been trying to sample using MPC 2 computer software but it seems like it doesn't work, so do I have to use stand alone mode only?
You just need more knowledge thats all. That is why I offer sessions. Can't solve everyones problems through comments. Hit the link in the video description, lock in and we will get you going.
Does anybody know how to change the delay timing for the keygroup synth sounds on the MPC One hardware? I can't find any setting where I can do this? When I change the tempo, it keeps the same delay, and it's off time from how I need it on that tempo?...SBN RESONATE
First off where are you getting 3 bar samples ? 😳 No matter the length of the sample all you need to do is pick out a perfect loop in the sample and the same steps apply.
Hey bro, I’m about to put some more money in your pocket. Can you do a video on how to EQ your 808’s in your kicks in your base at the same time that would be wonderful. I made a beat with 808 and baseline in it but it seems that I only hear the baseline instead of the 808 can you properly educate me on how to properly mix those two without causing distortion or something
I have a question, ok if i use time stretch and I speed up a sample how can i fit that sample to another tempo.? Like I have a sample and the bpm is 135 but I want that sample sound fast that it is.. but i want to work in 90 bpm but using the new speed of the sample?
@@DaDrankKang just to be clear, if my sample is 135 bpm and I cut it in half is it going to be 67.5 bpm but I want to use the tempo of 95 bpm so I put the sample on time stretch and stretch it to 95 it going to be too faster than I want so I have to stretch it to a different bpm that sounds how I want, For example 75 bpm and work with that new tempo? Or there’s another way to do it.. I appreciate for taking your time to responder me!
@@DaDrankKangalso how it will work viceversa if the tempo of the sample is fast like 135 but I want to slow it down but using the same 95 bpm.. it going be just slow it down or can I do another thing to make it sound no too slow..
Why does the detect tempo doesnt change when you time strech?? For example the original loop is 140bpm, then I time strecthed from 140 to 110 bpm, but in the detect tempo saids 120 bpm, the same happen to you in this video. Do you know why does that happen and does it affect the bpm loop if I then chop it.
The mpc software will try and detect the tempo of anything you LOAD. Not anything you time stretch. You tell it the new tempo. It doesn't need to pick up the new tempo if you are now telling it the tempo.
I think a lot of the problem come in with what is actually displayed. Like your screen shows 165. That's double and we get that. It detected the tempo of the sample at half. We get that. You did a stretch all the way down to 40. Still with you there. You did the playback at 40 but your screen still shows 165. Lost me. How is this sample going to play in relationship to the song that is showing 165?
It wouldn’t, he would need to set the tempo of the project to 40 before he records the loop if that’s the way he wanted to do it. He was just using it for the example of how to timestretch to a different bpm
Hey I’m having trouble every time I put in a sample it starts at 20 beats on both sides with 100% ratio and then when I put in the temple I want it just sounds slower can you help me with this?
Bro thats cus your not telling the mpc how many bars your sample has! The mpc tells you 20.00 everytime hes not getting the bars, thats normal, like if you load a full song ut will prob tell you that is 20.00 but as soon as you trim it and set them bars... booom! Your mpc will tell you the bpm. Hope i could help.
time stretching is a preference. its whatever the beat requires. there is no hard fast rule. could be the tempo could be faster or slower. my ear will determine that.
Nothing is "necessary" your creation is your personal preference. Pitching will increase or decrease speed. In order to keep the same pitch and change the speed time stretching is available to you.
Oh shit. It’s that Non Phixion Black Helicopters sample!!! Thanks for the Video brotha
Great video and props to akai for making the sample sound clean even at the lowest bpm.
You just saved my Mpc x from being sold quickly on eBay...a lot of things make sense now. great channel!!!
Thanks. 🙏🏽 don't let anything in your life get the best of your mind. Sell it because you don't like it. Not because you don't know it. 👍
The MPC x Manual is out dating, mpc knowledge doesn’t come out of it clearly.

How do you tune to perfect pitch? Whether it’s a note or a a few bars of music you sampled?
Where are you getting the stretch numbers 60, 80 ,100 if the bpm in 85? Will it match the tempo?
thanks
Beautiful
Cool subbed

Is this process the same in Standalone mode?
Damn this helped thanks!
It's Nonphixion yo up your MPC time stretch jurisdiction.
Is the processing destructive to the original sample
Why is my time stretch blacked out and not able to use when i go into my menu on my mpc live
great but , im not happy with the time stretching , tryed and na ,nothing time stretch better than my akai 3000 xl , time to run the two together
Everyone has their own way of doing things. Getting the job done is the mission. Not much how. 👍🏾
So when you put drums on it.... Do you adjust the bpm at the top to the new bpm of your sample?
Why can’t I get my MPC x to show up in my MPC beats daw. What am I doing wrong
Drivers may not be installed correctly. If you have the x then you should be using the full software. Not the free one. 👍🏾
@@DaDrankKang oh ok thanks brother. I had the free one.

Why isn’t time stretch available when i hit process?
You more than likely are not on TRIM or you or not on the full sample. You are on a slice.
Da Drank Kang thanks man!ur are amazing and i love ur work!
My time stretch option, copy option, delete, discard, and slice button are all unclickabe. please help.
nvm just realized a second after saying this, that I have to switch the slice option to "all" to click those.
best cheat for now

Da Drank Kang no brother. I’m talking about the sample in this video. I would like to hear what you did with it. This is the sample I came across.
@@CraftWon ahhhhhh sorry about that. I didn't make anything with this sample. It was just for the purpose of the video. 👍🏾
Da Drank Kang indeed. Gotcha
Doesn’t work all the time specially with MACs OS , as it doesn’t detect the correct bpm
Question, how do you get the MPC to detect the tempo, mine always say 20.00
It detects the tempo not changes it. You have to change it. If you want to see what it detects go to sample edit page.

Bring up the bars whilst it tells you 20.00bpms, thats a long sample usual behaviour.

your project 165 BPM and you use 85 BPM sample ? lol if you use this sample in your project it will be out of beat and rhythm...
