Thanks so much for all this info, Kaychak. I've loved the puzzle of goldmaking at the start of expansions since back in Wrath (I am a day 1 vanilla player but didn't think much about the AH until I realized its potential in Wrath). Nowadays, I'm pretty slammed with kids and work and can't pour hours (or more like days, if I'm being honest) of time into prep and research like I used to. Stuff like this helps me so much in feeling equipped to at least take an informed shot at a few strategies, which is a total blast. Much appreciated!
You're so good man. One thing that I had to find is Rank 1 and 2s from materials are going to keep dropping even if you're full skilled in gathering profession. This is a huge change in the auction house prices because as we saw with Dragonflight, some of the r1 materials were MORE expensive than r3
very nice job ! and welcome back, but what do you mean by your update, when you say "Blizzard nerfed the artisans acuity for profession tools on a main. This will no longer work."
I'm going to try everything you suggested in the video. In Dragonflight I earned 80 million gold. I'm excited to try this out, I feel like a challenger. I'm going to be the highest earning merchant in Korea. I'm happy to meet this vidio
I wonder if for tailoring the best would be to have 90% of you're alts focus on the CD, then you can have one that solely focuses on Spellthreads and another that focuses on Gera crafting? That way you can use you're own mats across you're account and get the most out of the rank 2 bolts you craft.
You want more than one that focuses on spellthread as he needs to use his concentration to get rank 3 crafts but ya your right you need a lot more with cloth CD over spellthread crafters.
@@kaychak807 Ye I am just assuming that the spell thread crafter will slowly require less and less concentration over time so having multiple focused on the same build would be more of a waste in the long run. Where as with the bolt cds even in the future having multiple of them are still beneficial.
I don’t have a discord or anything simply because I don’t have time alongside my job etc to put into it to make it worth it, I would rather just concentrate on getting more content out. Hopefully back to streaming again soon though. Thank you for your support.
@@kaychak807 Could you recommend me a setup? I only play around 3-5 hours a day, and i have around 10x 70s. I really dont know what kind of profession combo i want on my main. I dont feel "attached" to any specific, as ive never been interested in crafting. This time i just want to focus on gold farming. I dont think its fun to stand in a capitol city and spam chat for work orders. So other kind of farming or just crafting stuff on the cooldowns is best for me, i think. I will be maining druid or elemental shaman if that helps. Hope to hear from you.
Will you be making a video on what professions should your mains have? By mains, I mean those characters whose knowledge points will be kept up weekly.
it reminds me WOD expansion when i had lots of alts with the same production professions cause timegated crafting reagents. but it was so easy to lvl up professions. now i lvled them all again to lvl 70 with purple easy gears . 34 toons on 2 accounts . ready to dual box and get reagents like tic tacs^^ i have more fun doing that than playing endgame content like raids or M+. glad to see lots of players have the same way of playing wow like a management game.
Been doing some testing and I'm not getting up to 60 knowledge on any of the proffs really with the most basic setups. Maybe I'm missing something or do I need to do more first time crafts or npc craft orders? For example I got for tailoring | 17 firstcrafts+10 book+1 treatsie+ 24 treasure = 52 | or enchanting 14 firstcrafts+10book + 1 treatsie+24 treasure = 49 | thanks for any info :)
Yes, you are right, it's not exact, I needed an approximate number to run with and it seemed about right but there some professions that get more and less than that. Enchanting you missed the weekly shards you get from disenchanting which I think is another 9-10.
It seems like I'm missing something. Going the 15-25-20 From Dawn Until Dusk tailoring route and 65 + 18 I end up with 294 skill for dawnweave bolt (before concentration). In the video you are at 332.
@@kaychak807 Yes, both for the Spool of Dawnthread and Exquisite Weavercloth Bolt :/ If I use any of them at rank 3 I'm over the threshold but of course that kinda defeats the purpose.

I know youre pretty much explaining a different approach here but maybe you can give me a tipp for my situation.
Ya 100%. Or even if you can't be bothered to put that effort in I'm sure selling the PvP recipes or crafting reagent bought with honor will do well too. The crafted gear should do really well.
This would have been a great way to make gold but Blizzard literally just nerfed this so the customer has to provide the artisans acuity for all crafting tools now. The crafting orders themselves should still do well though.
Yes, In retrospec I could have added it in the video that rank 5 doesn't matter too much if it's expensive in the early days. It is worth getting in the long term especially if your getting multicraft from it.

wow that looks awful(even thou its the most fair system), for some reason devs decided that everybody will be crafting all the stuff and relisting it. What I think will happen is that someone with deep pockets will be able to constantly reset r3 items, and since people wont be able to mass produce any of that resource prices will skyrocket. On top of that we have to keep in mind that Concentration is SHARED between both professions so its even more crappy...
Concentration isn't shared between the two professions on the same toon, they are independent. You are 100% right about the resetting on rank 3 stuff whilst producing it is limited by concentration, it's going to be madness on reset days for a while.
