    I've just come across these Q&A videos and I had to message to say I think they are absolutely fantastic. Thanks so much very uploading them. The Nugget one was brilliant. Hendry is a complete natural - a really good laugh and such a nice guy. Best regards and stay safe over the christmas period.

    Great watching these as the Scottish banter is fun, I remember playing in the snooker clubs in Falkirk in the 70s and early 80s, fun days with old school mates.

    He is brilliant in commentary and its not hard to guess being a scott with hendry to compete against must have been hard on him, you'd never tell , he's such a great guy. He's taken to it like Gary neville doing footy.

    As as Scot I love how both of them drop into the Scottish slang terms/ language as they're bouncing off each other. Not what you get in 'official ' commentary lol.

      Yep... thank god Hendry doesn't have a strong accent as John Higgings.
      Basically, no need of subtitles for non-natives 🤔

    I met Alex Higgins when him and Tony Knowles came here to Shetland isles in 1984 .Higgins got very drunk at the Chinese restaurant in afternoon and played rubbish in the match at night .Knowles won easy.

    Problem for snooker clubs, they are quite expensive to run, so unless they 90% full they lose money.

    Stephen, From the earliest days of televised snooker under the ongoing directional adherence to behavioural rules and know doubt unrelenting direction of Mr Williams.The result of which has brought into our lives(via the sitting rooms of us millions) the very best of sportsmanship, entertainment, and not least your respectfulness of our homes. I have just picked up your chat show on my pad, as last time I saw you on tele, you where a boy; Aye, a prodigy.
    That all said, I would inquire if a “Christmas all star Special” is on the TV programme table. Please have a word as I am very sure that the same millions would welcome the opportunity to enjoin in meeting you all informally.

    Is it just an Indian thing or is it near impossible to understand this interview. But yeah Alan is the greatest Pundit out there.

    Alan contradicts himself said Steve was one of the best he ever played and he played near his best and lost 9-3 but agreed Judd would beat him 18-7 or 8 so what does that say about you Alan you would you lose 18-0 by that logic? Lol

    • @Dre-fe6mi
      @Dre-fe6mi 3 года назад

      I think that is what he means

    • @mrghiax

      In fairness, Alan did qualify his comments by saying that Judd would have to be playing well to win against Steve. Steve in his early days (1980 to about 83) in my opinion was a great potter. In later years Steve developed a much more balanced percentage game. I read in one of the snooker books that Steve dominated the game totally for an 18 month period. He was was simply unbeatable for a time. Steve doesn't really get the credit for helping moving the game on to a much higher standard than when he turned professional. Even the great Stephen Hendry commented "there was a time when Steve looked unbeatable, how does anyone ever beat him"! He really was that good.

    How can you even mention Ronnie and underachieving in the same sentence he's won 19 majors 36 ranking titles the most premier leagues the most centuries and 147s keeping hendry Higgins Williams Selby robbo ding and trump to name but a few at bay entertaining us for decades keeping snooker afloat in the most competitive era ever keeping sponsors happy and viewing figures up all on his own terms never been a slave to the game........9 months off wins the masters wins the world's in 2012 takes a year off comes back and defends his title in 2013........lost 9 years of his career partying due to lack of discipline and appetite and still racks up 19 majors........ His aura and presence is unique nobody like him everything he does makes headlines his longevity is legendary only last year he wins the inaugural coral series beating judd and robbo returning to world number 1 at 43 he owns the shanghai masters and although he's not the holder he owns the champ of champs........... Ridiculous question from hendry and more importantly a worse response from Alan 👎👎👎👎hendry your lucky to be in the same conversation as Ronnie your career is defined by 1 tournament the world's 1 tournament beating an unprepared pissed up Jimmy White 4 times a Nigel bond ffs give over............ Standards and levels lads kop on

      James Going the question is a compliment to Ronnie. Up until 2012 he heavily underachieved for his talent, he’s put it right but he’s still underachieved imo. If he had've had the right mindset for his whole career he’d have near 100 titles and 30 triple crowns
