McManus is the No.1 Snooker pundit for me, his knowledge and thoughts on the game and on every player is spot on. The BBC would love to have in their ranks.

One thing I thought that could have been discussed was the long bans on the Chinese players at the impact thats had on the season!

He's been coming into my work quite a lot and I've seen him a few times at the three judges in partick so you could probably find him there haha.
Angles is a great personality and top pundit.
Please broadcast more conversations between Angles and Rob! I wish Alan could appear as a commentator and pundit on all three Triple Crown tournaments!

The only other person I can think of who started their commentary career and very quickly became 'world number one' is Clive Everton (Ted Lowe doesn't count for me, because he was also the only commentator...) - and Clive of course became Lowe's spiritual successor as the 'Voice of Snooker'. Joe Davis was for a long time considered the greatest player ever to live, and he famously wrote the book, 'How To Play Snooker'. Alan McManus is rewriting the equivalent, metaphorical book on snooker commentary - and when it comes to commentary, I'm sure he will have a similar legacy of his own.
McManus is class, in my opinion lowe was a dreadful commentator

For a commentator to explain a moment in snooker with the expression "BY JINGLE" is a world first. Number 1 pundit/commentator in snooker by a long way.

Liang and Li got banned for life, Yan suspended until December 2027 and Zhao until September 2024.

Beating Stephen Hendry to win the Masters in 1994, when Hendry was at his most dominant peak and had won the previous 5, that's not an underachiever.
There is no better commentator in the sport today - and as for the first part, you are actually implying that he underachieved in relation to his ability, so you believe him to be a much better player than his achievements would suggest. But you knew that, of course. 😉

@@JamesWoods-be5ni Yes he got to big for his boots after winning against him in the northern Ireland open final a couple of times in a row and started mouthing off that ronnie could no longer win as the younger players didn't fear him anymore and I think Ronnie has put him down everytime they have played since then
