I love the fact that Ronnie is finally getting ALL the Fame, Credits, Exposure and ALL the lovely comments and recognition from sportsman and pundits all over the world. This is what he deserves more than anybody. I still think he’s one of the greatest sportsman to ever live. 👏 ❤
Wow, genuinely have to give credit to Ben Foster here, what an exceptional interview he conducted here. Some interesting questions off the cuff and really brought the best out of Ronnie. Well done to both
I think he has credibility that only comes with having been in a similar boat. England goalkeeper must be one if the loneliest places a football player can be. He’s also a genuine fan so shuts up and listens. It helps that he is a nice bloke too
I went to school with Ronnie and he honestly doesn't seemed to have changed that much - I'm pleased he's done well for himself and pleased he's found some inner peace
Do you think your memory of him was good enough to recall what he was like at school because you kept hearing "Ronnie has done this, Ronnie has done that..." over the years. So you always kept up to date and remembered him? Or do you think you would have remembered him anyway? What I mean is, do you think you'd still remember him well if he hadn't become who he is today, just based on his character? Genuine question.
@@FlipAndLand he was definitely a character you wouldn't forget but he's on the TV all the time so hard to forget! I saw him when I was about 21 and he was already the champion and again he was the same guy hadn't changed much - so it's good to see him finding some sort of peace. Some funny and crazy times at school so no you don't forget!
I started watching snooker at the age of seven and there was one player that captivated me his name Alex Higgins, then came along the whirlwind, and then a this man came along who I believe is a mixture of both those legends fearless, likeable and truly gifted I don't think snooker gets the recognition he deserves at the elite level especially if your a truly fans favourite, Ronnie is a true legend the most 147s the fastest 147 the most century breaks and let's not forget he lost his father for years,Ronnie is a force of nature and without the demons he faced would have double the the titles he has I have nothing but respect for his talent,he's a legend ❤
Started watching snooker because of Hendry and watched Ronnie from there, and from very early on commentators have been calling him the best ever even before the records and I can see why.
i think just by chance snooker managed to sneak into my life in the nineties, when after eurogoals on eurosport ( or before) snooker games were shown as well. this was my first contact with the sport. and although i am quite distanced from the sport now, it was a great time. i have seen some maxies live and they are among the most thrilling sensations i have ever had in my life. and surely it were some ronnie games back in the days that kept drawing me into the sport. great interview.
Love ronnie, legend. Best of all time. But can tell his head causes him issues and overthinking about life and everything. Like me except im not a legend or good at anything. For him to have struggles and still grt where he got, is unbelievable.
You'll have your own talent mate. You'll be the best at something. You just need to find what it is and You'll experience success of your own. Don't put yourself down lad. There's enough wan*ers out there who will try to do that for you.
I just think back to Semi Final Worlds 2020 during I think Covid and Mark Selby when Ronnie is REALLY up against it trailing and whilst in accendancy of a new frame and break, he's kinda forced to go for a Red that ends up in the Green Pocket and one of which is the Best Ever under the circumstances.
I thought he had done his nut in that match, but after watching a podcast a few months before the world championships that year, he said he would do something like that against Mark Selby if the match was getting away from him.
Terrific video. You can tell he's a pretty humble & self effacing guy. Given he's friends with Ronnie wood, I'd be curious as to Ronnie's musical tastes, what genres he really loves and who his favorite musicians/bands are?
That clip with the guy and not caring about winning, you have to keep in mind that if Ronnie plays good (what he considers good, not just us mere mortals) he's practically unbeatable, so the winning takes care of itself.
Would love to see ronnie and Magnus carlsen (7-time chess world champ) talk - seem like they’re at a similar point, being the best ever in their sport and having won everything there is. Would be class 👌🏻
I would have loved it if they would have asked Ali Carter about Ronnie's achievements. Apparently, they don't get on. Saying that, Ronnie is the best player ever.
Ronnie is as good at snooker as the greatest sportsman in history are at their respective sports. Jordan, Woods, Federer, Messi etc. He's on par with all of them. It's just snooker isn't anywhere near as glamorous and doesn't get the attention.
Debatable, I'd say better than everyone, Bar Jo Davis .I can't see anyone bettering him in my lifetime, so I'd say gomt greatest of my time or goot greatest of our time.
I was really disappointed by that documentary, he’s so up his own behind, I really wanted him to be more humble, can anyone tell me any different if I watch it all the way tbrough. I turned it off after 10 mins
Damien Hirst was auctioning some art at Sotherbys but didn't want to be there, so he and Ronnie went to play snooker and Damien's mate kept phoning him telling him what pieces were selling for.

i would love the fact that Prime would respect the paying public and make it available to us all instead of all the territory crap!
@@madaboutsnooker147 It is still not available in Germany. Simply ridiculous.
many angry viewers here in Europe@@waytothewill
What you on about mate. He’s had the fame and never lost it since the 90s. What world you been living on. 😂😂😂😂😂
AND the coverage and interviews maximise the documentary and any books etc@@Hammeredprawn

I also went to school with Ronnie or rondo as we used to call him he says you are talking out of your bum ❤
Maverick of snooker, absolute legend 🎱
TWO legends
Thanks for video and thanks to the casting directors
Sportsmen like Ronnie, Best, Ali and Federer are just different - they all seem to glide with such natural talent.
Well said. Couldn't agree more. 👏👍
Well done to Amazon getting Ben involved - he's so down to earth - a natural host

Ronnie and Ben, lovely interview, fantastic insight, the genes were spot on the day he was born.

it’s not often that someone gets to be in the presence of someone that is the best in the world at a sport. pure class.
I wouldn’t say Ben Foster was ever that good
Great interview. Deep mutual respect
When Stephen Hendry and Steve Davies are saying you are on a different level to anyone else...that is kind of special
still waiting for doc to be released in USA. my fav sportsman.
Mate... braces on for when it does come! You will love it 🎉
Just watched and it’s a very unique film. Absolutely loved it. Now let’s hope this brings in new fans.

What a down to earth humble bloke, Sir Ronnie,🙏🥃
Yep I'm in Australia and the same. Crazy.
As the song goes simply the best
The Grand master of snooker...i love to spend a day with him to learn and practice with him...

Amazing honesty in the documentary
Quality interview Ben 👊👊
Yes.Absolute Legend🎉
Ronnie is the best player there will ever be and will never be beaten because of his dedication and unbelievable talent of the game. ROCKET 🚀

Two sides of the human coin
Arguably the best? No question he simply is the best!
Bless him. I just love him. Self soothing pulling his ear lobe when talking about the old man.
Ben interviews great! Ronnie top geezer!
From Bangladesh, take love Ronnie! but Amazon I can't see the documentary in the region
Nice of Stephen to get dressed up for the premiere

How can I watch this in Australia? The documentary
Unfortunately its regional. I live in Iceland and I cant see it. Even friends in the USA cant see it either. We are all waiting to see it…

1 question missed Aussie Ron is he making a return 👌🤣
Ronni is simple and great at the same time)).

why this remind me of a transfer exchange on fifa
I love Ronnie, the best! He could pass for Gargamel from smurfs though.
Ronnie looks so fresh
he knows he has to get the 8th one
Why is his documentary not out in Australia Amazon prime yet??
Time difference
Mr Plastic, Formally know as David Beckham
Be good if they could have proper audio
I honstly think Ronnie is potentially the best sportsman ever respectivly, he is just exeptional
Huge M&S marketing opportunity here

Come On Ronnie 🙂
Amazon driver said he handed parcel to me but I was away. Never got my parcel. Second time this has happened. I like Ronnie Snooker
🐐
Ronnie as admitted he should have won 12 World Titles
I love Ronnie but tbh that’s a claim, not an admission
Absolutely criminal that Ronnie hasnt been given Sports Personality.
Ronnie is a top bloke and Ben's not far behind with his interviews.
Spoiler alert.
He doesn't retire and wins another championship.
Ronnie is as good at snooker as the greatest sportsman in history are at their respective sports. Jordan, Woods, Federer, Messi etc. He's on par with all of them. It's just snooker isn't anywhere near as glamorous and doesn't get the attention.
The greatest that will ever be but just one thing Ben Alex Higgins was the people's champion
Is foster from Monmouth or devon or somewhere farmy?
Accent screams Monmouth
Leamington spa
Wheres Goldbridge????
Where can we eat those treats on the table ?
Ronnie picks and chooses when he wins matches
Did Ben used to play football? He didn't mention it.
He did said it at the start
👍👍
Happy to know that the world will get a new god from tomorrow. And a god that can actually do miracles

Is it a sport, or a game?
If Ronnie ain’t on the telly advertising M&S scones by new year, someone at M&S marketing needs to be fired.
Best play ever? Yes it was when you saw Hendry.
He was the best but he's losing it, which is inevitable. Still, I wouldn't put it past him to win the World Championships in April.
A rocket passing stars...
111 mill in 2 hours from playing snooker? what is the context behind that chat?
Damien Hirst was auctioning some art at Sotherbys but didn't want to be there, so he and Ronnie went to play snooker and Damien's mate kept phoning him telling him what pieces were selling for.
Beckham or Jimmy's hair?
