So nice to see a guy like Ben on this video... I was lucky enough to know him for a few years growing up, he never let fame/money change him. He is a family man and even when we went out in town for a night out, he would always take time for photos with fans and looked after his mates whenever possible. A true gentleman and his whole family are just genuinely nice people. Deserves everything that comes his way, nothing but love and respect for the guy 👌

Hi Stephen , I am originally from Nelson , NZ , and knew a guy , Mark , who was from Hull in Yorkshire . He used to tell me the yarn about when he returned to Hull for a working holiday , he visited his old snooker club that he used to play in , was having a knock about by himself , when this young kid , about 12 years old , came in and offered him a frame , winner take all , ten quid I think , Mark broke , quite happy with the result and before he knew it was 20 or 30 points in arrears ! Mark scored a few points but the inevitable end of the game came , he had lost , the young guy picked up the money , unscrewed his cue and packed it away in to the case and began to walk out the door , mark called out to him , you are a very good player for your age , just in case you become famous , what's your name , " Stephen Hendry " was the reply ! Don't know if there is any truth to this story , but I always enjoyed it . Thanks for the great vlogs .

All the top players, the ones who are true champions are genuine geniuses, but what makes them watchable is when they click into genius mode, some players play good for a week and win titles but when you do it for 10 years solid that's another level? few ever reach that level and its beyond most peoples comprehension that an individual can be that good!
Finally the most interesting thing about this video was Stephen talking about his career not based on the wins but the losses?
