Seventh Day Adventist is like a cult, I was stuck there, I was so deceived, I almost couldn't leave. They would LET me leave. It was by God's grace that left. But not without great losses. I suffered so pain in the midst of what I thought was the Abundant life. My mind was so anti-God and anti-Jesus, that by the time I turned to Jesus it was after my brother had died. The health message had become so hopeless to me at this moment that. Life became completely meaningless. I felt it was pointless to be a part of Adventist Church. Because, I realized that by Adventist I had literally become soo Anti-Christ-like that I felt I had lost my Salvation. Could Jesus recognized me as a Christian anymore after avoiding Him for so long. I felt like a Judas, or even a complete prodigal. I felt ashamed, I felt I couldn't even face God. I felt ashamed of myself. I wanted Jesus but kept on running away from his presence, by avoiding Church, even my previous Pentecostal Holiness Church. I couldn't be I the presence of other Christians because I didn't trust other Christians, Adventist or Otherwise; and yes, Adventists do know that other people are Christians. But, started pouring over God's word because desperately needed his presence. And, I began to pray and have devotion After leaving the Adventist Church. Until, God brought me to this Channel. I find it ironic that the SDA church has such a liberal view on abortion yet reverence the Saturday Sabbath as the most important commandment. For instance SDA facilities perform elective abortions on non-members and perform abortions on SDA members as well.

I have heard that those seeking abortions claim mental or emotional reasons. Yeah I'm a Catholic marrying a SDA and she told me these things and her family handed me books from Ellen G White. I was really shocked. I mean I've encountered a lot of Anti-Catholicism from Protestants, but never thought there could be a denomination so absurdly caught up the anti-catholicism that it defines so much of its doctrine. NEVER heard of the group until I met my wife. A lot of SDAs don't know these teachings about how prominent Ellen G White is and how fundamental she is to the church. That ignorance stems from the fact that they won't name her as the author of the books, they will remove her name, so that the person reading will not be caught up on the author/it will seem more likely to them that the book is God's own message to the world.

SeventhDayAdventists are Protestants. Not all Protestants agree on all things. For example, there are Protestants, that say baptism is for adults, and Protestants, that baptize children. The reformers like Luther and Calvin demanded infant baptism like the Catholic Church did. Then the Anabaptists demanded adult baptism. They were persecuted and killed by both sides, Catholics and fellow Protestants, because they baptized adults. Another point of conflict is the Sabbath. SeventhDayAdventists are not the only Protestants, that keep the Sabbath. SeventhDayBaptists do the same.

As a former SDA, when I was in my 20’s, I met a girl and married her and that’s how I heard about SDA. Before that, I never even heard of them and they have a church in every town near where I grew up in TN. Been to Chattanooga many times, never knew of Southern Univ until I joined the church. That’s just how “insignificant” SDA are to the rest of the world. When I was Lutheran, they never even mentioned Adventists. Nothing but religious fear porn from Ellen and boy did she make a ton of money selling this rubbish in her books.

I was SDA for 28 yrs and I was very actively involved, even an Elder etc etc but at some point, I started looking more intently into the doctrines. When I joined the church, RUclips, Google etc wasn’t even a thing. We barely had dial up and locating web sites with info to research Ellen was very difficult. Today, everything is at the touch of a mouse click. Even a lexicon is user friendly for the non Div degree laymen. People need to know the truth and it took me a few years to discover just a fraction of what you have already posted on your channel. One of the first questions I was asked, “who hurt you”. I laughed hard when you stated that in one of your vids. You are so spot on and it’s great to see someone like you step up and tell the truth. Many scholars have done it and were shunned and criticized for their work and exposing the lies that is Adventism. I loved the church, the people, the community, but the truth is the truth, she lied and made a ton of money in her day selling books and dress patterns. The Bible is clear on that for me and that’s what Peter is referring to in 2 Peter 3:16, Paul’s teaching on the second coming. What’s most important for someone leaving is to know and understand that you are saved, and “only by the free gift of God” received by faith. No amount of works cloaked in love will do anything for you. With that, read and understand what the “law of Christ” means because if you were SDA, you likely never heard the phrase and it’s in the Bible. Use a lexicon to study SDA proof texts and learn the meaning of Entole and Nomos and how John used them differently in his gospel and Revelation.
You are right, no one cares that you worship on saturday. It is only something to make those who worship on Saturday afraid that may be forced to worship on sunday. What purpose would it serve? Ellen white worshipped on Sundays for years before she was convinced to worshipped on saturday. If you read in exodus 16 it wasn't a worship day it was a day of rest from daily work at home. They weren't even supposed to leave their house. The 7th advents leave their house every Saturday, and say they are keeping sabbath. 🤔 Jesus has fulfilled that sign of the old covenant so we don't have to keep it in the new covenant.

The official Adventist church in Samoa worships on Sunday every week and is celebrated by all Christians calling it the common day of worship. The way this happened is that Samoa government decided there was more trade with Australia and Samoa being very close to the international date line makes this possible. Samoa in one week removed Wednesday from their week making Sunday of that week the seventh day. There is a breakaway SDA church not approved by the general conference which worships on Saturday I'm just wondering in this situation who gets the mark of the beast?

@@rayray4192 when I left the Adventist church I went to a church that was charismatic/non-denominational. Mostly because there was joy and life, and you could see the love of Jesus on peoples faces. In the Adventist church, the hymns sounded like funeral dirges, and everybody was always miserable. My mom was always depressed, I didn’t want to spend my life in that church and be that way. I’ve finally gotten to the point where I don’t hate hymns anymore.

I am curious as to what was it in particular that raised that red flag? For me it was realizing how ridiculous the Investigative Judgement doctrine was . For example, how could mature Christians have to be worried about possibly going to Hellfire because of one unconfessed sin? Then there is no difference between the saved and the unsaved. Wish your channel would’ve been around about 10 to 15 years ago when I could’ve shared it with my parents. Unfortunately, they passed away, and I know for sure my mom went to her grave, fully convinced of SDA and EGW teachings. Even though my dad was a deacon, I don’t think he was as deep into it as my mom was. Luckily, my sister and I escaped relatively unharmed. My brother was deep into it and he may still be for all I know.

God formed man out of the dust of ground and breath in his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. Common sense tells you when you die . Your spirit goes back to God who gave it. U go to sleep. The soul is you. The soul that sins will surely die. It doesn't live it dies. I used to believe in eternal burning forever but the Bible doesn't teach that. They themselves very gladly enjoy a weekly two-day break. They never complain that Sunday is a public holiday. In these last days God has spoken to us through a son and not through any designated prophet. Nowhere in the New Testament do we find that Seventh Day Sabbath breakers will not inherit the kingdom of God. In Hebrew 6:1-2 St Paul lays down the basic teaching about Christ but says to leave it behind and advance to maturity. Neither in the basic teaching nor in a stage of maturity do we find that keeping the Seventh Day Sabbath is mandatory; it should have been if it's a matter of eternal life or eternal damnation. Here is how Hebrews 6:1-2 reads: Therefore, let us leave behind the basic teaching about Christ and advance to maturity, without laying the foundation all over again: repentance from dead works and faith in God, instruction about baptisms and laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. Then the apostle Paul goes on to say how it is impossible to bring back to repentance again those who had once been enlightened but had fallen away. St Paul doesn't want believers to be stagnant or lukewarm that can lead to sliding down and a falling away down the line, but he eagerly desires for them to mature. It's worthy to note that Paul talks of baptism in the plural. In Corinthians St Paul refers to people who were baptized on behalf of the dead. The great St Paul says it therefore we must consider it.
Forget Ellen White, and read Revelation (especially chapters 18-20): the Bible itself predicts that before Jesus’ return, there will be a great persecution of God’s people who refuse to submit to the prevailing worldwide religio-political entity that enforces the mark of the beast. You’re reading your presuppositions into the text. The core issue is your guys’ denuding of Revelation from history-making it about yourselves. Nothing in Revelation says anything about Christian’s taking up arms to attacks seventh day Adventists. I have Luther's Small Catechism. The section on the Sabbath is quite an eye opener for me. Breaking the Sabbath Luther's Small Catechism, is (done) by preaching a (lousy) Gospel. This is very different than the Sabbath breaking I grew up with, as an SDA child. The Gospel of Christ has become my Sabbath. The HOLY ACTS that Christ in did in (His Body) to Justify, Sanctify, & Glorify me is my Sabbath; Col.2:16,17, is my Sabbath. SDA's like (to link) Going to Church on Sunday w/Paganism. On Sunday Easter night Christ (opened) the disciples (minds), on how the Law of Moses, The Psalms, & the Prophets we're fulfilled by Christ; Luke24:44 - 46. When the Christ rose from the dead on Sunday, his resurrection is the Ratification; that we are justified. Rom.4:25. My question to SDA'S is (this). Did Jesus the Christ honor the Sun God' when He rose from the grave on Sunday??
Do I honor the sun god's day, if I go to a restaurant on Sunday? No. And Christ did not honor the Sunday by rising from the dead. He called himself Lord of the Sabbath, not Lord of the Sunday. So no, his resurrection did not honor the day of the sun god. But abolishing the Sabbath, which is God's chosen holy day, and keeping the day of the sun god instead of the day of the true God, is honoring the day of the sun god. You abolished the Sabbath, turned Sunday into a new version of the Sabbath, on which you rest according to your own will and can do what you want, and then claim the Sabbath has been spiritualized and the day of the Lord is not a real day anymore, but the Sabbath is whatever you want it to be. Jesus is the Sabbath, the rest in Jesus is the Sabbath, the Gospel is the Sabbath... anything is the Sabbath, except for the seventh day. If the Sabbath plays no role in the end times, why do Christians fight with hands and feet against resting on the Sabbath, but have no problem with resting on Sunday?
Walter Vieth Always used to creep me out because he was one the Adventist preachers who would most use Ellen White's spirit of prophecy in all, and I mean all of his sermons. It gave the idea that he never knew the Bible at all. His sermons every Sabbath always gave me Mormon vibes. (I used to watch Mormon LDS Bible films).

I am beginning to believe that the persecution that Christians will suffer, and even now are experiencing, has less to do about what day they worship on, but rather they will be persecuted because they believe in God and in the Bible. There are some people who choose to say they are a believer in Christ or a follower of Jesus rather than to use the name “Christian”. Christianity has been badly misrepresented by people claiming to be Christians but are not true followers of Christ. They are taking His name in vain. Atheism and agnosticism are spreading more rapidly than ever before in the history of our country. Forcing EVERYONE to worship God on ANY day seems very unlikely.

The Sunday Law conspiracy is so bizarre that many Adventists do not believe it. When I was a member, I always thought it was ridiculous. I did not pay attention to it since its not mentioned in the 28 fundamental beliefs. However, most of the pastors, elders and general conference blindly believe it and so do many of the laity.
You know something I was trying to wrap my mind around. So wouldn't this signify that SDAs are continuationists if they believe Ellen G White is speaking prophetically? How can they be cessationists? If they read how the Sabbath day was kept holy they wouldn't worry about it. According to what the law was for the Sabbath not to do any work. Jesus has fulfilled that sign of the old covenant so you don't have keep unless you want to. The Pharisees are the ones started the meeting on the sabbath. The people were not leave their house on that day but rest if you read in exodus 31. It wasn't a worship day, only people has made it one.

Check out the book by Steve Daily, PhD called "Ellen White: A Psychobiography". He's a former SDA pastor and psychologist. It will clear up a lot of what she was about and how she managed to pull off one of the biggest religious cons of all time.
It depends on the writing in question. She evolved over time, plagiarized frequently, and depending on who she was stealing from, it caused her to commit double-speak. I don’t doubt that she had “visions” they just weren’t from the True and Living God.
All US states have sunday laws except Alaska. Many were already prosecuted in this country for not obeying those laws implemented with protestants blessings. Many were fined and imprisoned. Those laws are still on the books but not enforced. Time will come when a national Sunday law will be enacted... Those who oppose it will be persecuted.

Most of their delusions around this is Sunday being a replacement for the Sabbath. I have argued this point with my older brother who is so incensed that "God's Holy Sabbath was stolen by the Catholic Church." - I explained to him over and over that I know of NO "sunday-worshippers" who believe Sunday is a replacement for the Sabbath, or even a Sabbath at all. They believe that the Sabbath rest is fulfilled in Christ as we rest from our works to earn our salvation and trust in the merits of Christ's work on our behalf. We place our trust and faith in Him, not in our ability to keep commandments.
The German Elberfelder Bible used the name "Jehovah" in the past. It was a common name for God back then. Sam Shamoun, who is Catholic or Orthodox, even uses the name to this day. The Hebrew name of God, Yahweh, was written as YHWH in the hebrew Bible and as Kyrios (Lord) in the Greek. The Jews were afraid of accidently using God's name in vain, so they added the vowels of "Adonai" (Hebrew for "Lord") into YHWH and turned it into YaHoWaiH or something like that. This was then translated as Jehovah back in that time. It's normal for a Christian - no matter if he believes in the Trinity or not - to refer to God as Jehovah. I sometimes do it, although I usually use the name Yahweh.

I attend the SDA church and I do not subscribe to many of the doctrines and I certainly do not agree that EGWhite is a prophet. Thres is no such thing as Sunday Law. This is not supported on scripture.

The people of God were slain by their very own who claimed to serve God. Stephen in Acts 7 is a good example. In Revelation 17 the Bible clearly says that the harlot woman was drunk with the blood of the saints. An apostate church will persecute the True church is clearly shown to be the case. Revelation 12 is clearly an indication of this very thing. Thank you for kindly appealing to Christians to reach out to their SDA friends. I didn’t think too long about the consequences when I left the SDA church. As a pastor I was excited about what the Lord had done in my life and was so eager to join a community of faith that believed like I did, and wanted to share the Gospel with others. But boy was I in for a surprise! Tragically evangelicalism, even a lot of Reformed folk are stagnant in their comfort, hustle ideology, idolatry of politics and straight up racism masked as patriotism. It’s been very hard to fit in, and many of my former friends, family and colleagues love what I now preach ,but are so afraid to leave the SDA community. (Many, like my mom have become Keller and Piper junkies, lol!) I know this channel isn’t about the state of evangelicalism per se, but one must admit that adventism behaves like a small family with all its benefits and flaws. Once you belong its hard to leave it. Evangelicalism is extremely individualistic and consumeristic, puts so much effort into production for the Sunday worship service, and there’s barely any shepherding being done during the week… stories of men like Driscoll are way too common unfortunately. I couldn’t agree more, Daniel. I’m often accused of being angry at Adventists and that I left because of that (a common assertion), but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I loved the SDA world and community. I wasn’t a contrarian SDA. I was involved. But the truth led me out despite that. But I agree regarding evangelicalism and the Reformed world. This is something I’ve (outside of this channel) been very vocal about. The American zeitgeist has impacted both worlds in a negative way and it needs to be addressed. I thank God that my family is now a part of a Reformed church that isn’t that. Quite the opposite. But I definitely understand that isn’t the norm, sadly.
You don't have to be an Adventist in order to obey our Father's holy and eternal Commandments. I'M NOT AND NEVER BEEN! There are two sets of Biblical Laws. One set of Laws (the 613 Mosaic Laws) have been fulfilled by the Messiah. And those laws, ordinances, commandments, retributions, sacrifices, and death penalties have thankfully been nailed to the cross of the Savior. (Colossians 2:14). However, the 2nd set of Laws is totally distinguishable from the Law of Moses. And according to our Messiah, these Laws are eternal and lead to everlasting life (Matthew 19:16-17). The Laws I’m now speaking of are the holy, handwritten in stone, 10 Commandments. These 10 moral Laws are applicable until death do us part. Although Paul often wrote about the “curse of the law” (Mosaic Law), see what Paul says about the holy 10 COMMANDS: Romans 2:13 “For not the HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST in the sight of GOD, but the DOERS OF THE LAW WILL BE JUSTIFIED.” Yet, Christians & Catholics seem to pretend that there are only 8 or 9 Commandments to obey, but there are 10. THE 10 COMMANDMENTS and the Law of Moses are not the same. Moses wrote the 613 Mosaic Laws in a book… Deuteronomy 31:24 “So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished.” But our Heavenly Father wrote His perfect and eternal Laws, in stone. THE ONLY SCRIPTURE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE THAT’S LITERALLY WRITTEN BY YHWH: Exodus 31:18 “And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.” Moses broke the first set of stone tablets in righteous anger. YHWH rewrote a duplicate copy, again in stone. Exodus 34:1, 28. Disobeying ANY of our Heavenly Father’s 10 Commandments is a very dangerous habit that most Christians & Catholics practice. The half-brother of the Messiah, through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, warned against this rebellious lifestyle. He declared that if you break one of the laws, you’re guilty of all 10. James 2:10-11: “For WHOEVER shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not MURDER.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do MURDER, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF THE LAW.” Please note that Brother James specifically quoted from the 10 Commandments to give accurate context of which set of Laws he was referring to. As children of the Most High God, we are not to cherry-pick which of His handwritten-in-stone 10 Laws we deem are worthy of our obedience. The 10 Commands are the Supreme Laws in the entire Bible. And under the former Covenant, Sabbath breaking was such an immoral offense that death by stoning was the price paid for doing so. And the New Testament clearly teaches that our Savior and His Disciples honored the holy 7th Day Sabbath. The 7th Day is the only weekday that the Bible ever declared as blessed, hallowed, and sanctified. No Gentile Christian was ever found in Church on Sunday in the Bible! The account cited in Acts 20 was an informal gathering in the “Upper Room” of someone’s house! It was not in the synagogue. The New Testament Gentile Christians kept the Sabbath Day Holy! ACTS 13:42 & 44 (KJV) “So when the JEWS went out of the synagogue, the GENTILES begged that these words might be preached to them the NEXT SABBATH. 44 On the NEXT SABBATH almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.” Notice no mention of Sunday, the 1st day of the week. The GENTILES said they’ll wait until “the next Sabbath!” WHO CHANGED THE SABBATH? 364 AD, at the Council of Laodicea (Canon 29), the Church of Rome (which would later become the Catholic Church) committed an unholy travesty. The Church of Rome literally made it unlawful to obey the 7th Day Sabbath Commandment. And they added a “curse” upon you if you did! Without any Biblical authority, they attempted to transfer the sacredness of the holy 7th Day Sabbath… TO SUNDAY, THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK! And this heretical act has been the status quo, for both Catholics & Christians ever since. 1700 years of man-made, Commandment breaking dogma! (Google it!) THE BIBLE TEACHES US OF 2 TYPES OF SABBATHS: The Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths & The 4th Commandment Sabbath! The Scripture below, in Colossians 2:16, is clearly referring to the Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths of Leviticus 23… such as Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Atonement, and 4 more.
COLOSSIANS 2:16 “So let no one judge you in FOOD or in DRINK, or REGARDING A FESTIVAL or a NEW MOON or SABBATHS.” (PLURAL IN THE KJV & NKJV) There are 6 Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths! Also, read the entire chapter of Romans 14. Christians also use Romans 14:5 to justify not obeying the Sabbath Command. But Romans chapter 14 has over 20 FOOD, DRINK, EATING, AND FEAST references. Clearly, Paul is again teaching that the CEREMONIAL FEAST DAY SABBATHS are no longer mandatory. They were part of the 613 Mosaic Laws and are thankfully nailed to the cross of Messiah. Colossians 2:14. See Leviticus 23 where YHWH calls the Feast Days “SABBATHS!” Unlike the weekly Sabbath, these 6 “Shadow” Sabbaths were calculated by the moon and were annual, not weekly. Reply

Seventh Day Adventist is like a cult, I was stuck there, I was so deceived, I almost couldn't leave. They would LET me leave. It was by God's grace that left. But not without great losses. I suffered so pain in the midst of what I thought was the Abundant life. My mind was so anti-God and anti-Jesus, that by the time I turned to Jesus it was after my brother had died. The health message had become so hopeless to me at this moment that. Life became completely meaningless. I felt it was pointless to be a part of Adventist Church. Because, I realized that by Adventist I had literally become soo Anti-Christ-like that I felt I had lost my Salvation. Could Jesus recognized me as a Christian anymore after avoiding Him for so long. I felt like a Judas, or even a complete prodigal. I felt ashamed, I felt I couldn't even face God. I felt ashamed of myself. I wanted Jesus but kept on running away from his presence, by avoiding Church, even my previous Pentecostal Holiness Church. I couldn't be I the presence of other Christians because I didn't trust other Christians, Adventist or Otherwise; and yes, Adventists do know that other people are Christians. But, started pouring over God's word because desperately needed his presence. And, I began to pray and have devotion After leaving the Adventist Church. Until, God brought me to this Channel.

I find it ironic that the SDA church has such a liberal view on abortion yet reverence the Saturday Sabbath as the most important commandment. For instance SDA facilities perform elective abortions on non-members and perform abortions on SDA members as well.

I would also question what is termed to be "elective". I have heard that those seeking abortions claim mental or emotional reasons. My position would be that the only legitimate reason for an abortion is a real threat to the mother's life, such that physical death is imminent, and the effort should be made to save both lives.

Yeah I'm a Catholic marrying a SDA and she told me these things and her family handed me books from Ellen G White. I was really shocked. I mean I've encountered a lot of Anti-Catholicism from Protestants, but never thought there could be a denomination so absurdly caught up the anti-catholicism that it defines so much of its doctrine. NEVER heard of the group until I met my wife.
A lot of SDAs don't know these teachings about how prominent Ellen G White is and how fundamental she is to the church. That ignorance stems from the fact that they won't name her as the author of the books, they will remove her name, so that the person reading will not be caught up on the author/it will seem more likely to them that the book is God's own message to the world.
You don't have to be an Adventist in order to obey our Father's holy and eternal Commandments. I'M NOT AND NEVER BEEN! There are two sets of Biblical Laws. One set of Laws (the 613 Mosaic Laws) have been fulfilled by the Messiah. And those laws, ordinances, commandments, retributions, sacrifices, and death penalties have thankfully been nailed to the cross of the Savior. (Colossians 2:14).
However, the 2nd set of Laws is totally distinguishable from the Law of Moses. And according to our Messiah, these Laws are eternal and lead to everlasting life (Matthew 19:16-17). The Laws I’m now speaking of are the holy, handwritten in stone, 10 Commandments. These 10 moral Laws are applicable until death do us part. Although Paul often wrote about the “curse of the law” (Mosaic Law), see what Paul says about the holy 10 COMMANDS: Romans 2:13 “For not the HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST in the sight of GOD, but the DOERS OF THE LAW WILL BE JUSTIFIED.” Yet, Christians & Catholics seem to pretend that there are only 8 or 9 Commandments to obey, but there are 10.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS and the Law of Moses are not the same. Moses wrote the 613 Mosaic Laws in a book… Deuteronomy 31:24 “So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished.” But our Heavenly Father wrote His perfect and eternal Laws, in stone. THE ONLY SCRIPTURE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE THAT’S LITERALLY WRITTEN BY YHWH: Exodus 31:18 “And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.” Moses broke the first set of stone tablets in righteous anger. YHWH rewrote a duplicate copy, again in stone. Exodus 34:1, 28.
Disobeying ANY of our Heavenly Father’s 10 Commandments is a very dangerous habit that most Christians & Catholics practice. The half-brother of the Messiah, through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, warned against this rebellious lifestyle. He declared that if you break one of the laws, you’re guilty of all 10. James 2:10-11: “For WHOEVER shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not MURDER.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do MURDER, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF THE LAW.”

As children of the Most High God, we are not to cherry-pick which of His handwritten-in-stone 10 Laws we deem are worthy of our obedience. The 10 Commands are the Supreme Laws in the entire Bible. And under the former Covenant, Sabbath breaking was such an immoral offense that death by stoning was the price paid for doing so. And the New Testament clearly teaches that our Savior and His Disciples honored the holy 7th Day Sabbath. The 7th Day is the only weekday that the Bible ever declared as blessed, hallowed, and sanctified.
No Gentile Christian was ever found in Church on Sunday in the Bible! The account cited in Acts 20 was an informal gathering in the “Upper Room” of someone’s house! It was not in the synagogue. The New Testament Gentile Christians kept the Sabbath Day Holy! ACTS 13:42 & 44 (KJV) “So when the JEWS went out of the synagogue, the GENTILES begged that these words might be preached to them the NEXT SABBATH. 44 On the NEXT SABBATH almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.” Notice no mention of Sunday, the 1st day of the week. The GENTILES said they’ll wait until “the next Sabbath!”
WHO CHANGED THE SABBATH? 364 AD, at the Council of Laodicea (Canon 29), the Church of Rome (which would later become the Catholic Church) committed an unholy travesty. The Church of Rome literally made it unlawful to obey the 7th Day Sabbath Commandment. And they added a “curse” upon you if you did! Without any Biblical authority, they attempted to transfer the sacredness of the holy 7th Day Sabbath… TO SUNDAY, THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK! And this heretical act has been the status quo, for both Catholics & Christians ever since. 1700 years of man-made, Commandment breaking dogma! (Google it!)
THE BIBLE TEACHES US OF 2 TYPES OF SABBATHS: The Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths & The 4th Commandment Sabbath! The Scripture below, in Colossians 2:16, is clearly referring to the Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths of Leviticus 23… such as Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Atonement, and 4 more.
COLOSSIANS 2:16 “So let no one judge you in FOOD or in DRINK, or REGARDING A FESTIVAL or a NEW MOON or SABBATHS.” (PLURAL IN THE KJV & NKJV) There are 6 Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths! Also, read the entire chapter of Romans 14. Christians also use Romans 14:5 to justify not obeying the Sabbath Command. But Romans chapter 14 has over 20 FOOD, DRINK, EATING, AND FEAST references. Clearly, Paul is again teaching that the CEREMONIAL FEAST DAY SABBATHS are no longer mandatory. They were part of the 613 Mosaic Laws and are thankfully nailed to the cross of Messiah. Colossians 2:14. See Leviticus 23 where YHWH calls the Feast Days “SABBATHS!” Unlike the weekly Sabbath, these 6 “Shadow” Sabbaths were calculated by the moon and were annual, not weekly.

SeventhDayAdventists are Protestants. Not all Protestants agree on all things. For example, there are Protestants, that say baptism is for adults, and Protestants, that baptize children. The reformers like Luther and Calvin demanded infant baptism like the Catholic Church did. Then the Anabaptists demanded adult baptism. They were persecuted and killed by both sides, Catholics and fellow Protestants, because they baptized adults.
Another point of conflict is the Sabbath. SeventhDayAdventists are not the only Protestants, that keep the Sabbath. SeventhDayBaptists do the same.

I am an African Adventist Baha’i. The Adventist side of me is that I am a vegetarian. The Baha’i in me is that I love people of ALL religions, including Adventists. May the Adventists realize their highest aspirations & deepest hopes.
As a former SDA, when I was in my 20’s, I met a girl and married her and that’s how I heard about SDA. Before that, I never even heard of them and they have a church in every town near where I grew up in TN. Been to Chattanooga many times, never knew of Southern Univ until I joined the church. That’s just how “insignificant” SDA are to the rest of the world. When I was Lutheran, they never even mentioned Adventists. Nothing but religious fear porn from Ellen and boy did she make a ton of money selling this rubbish in her books.
Southern is my alma mater. They love their bubbles.

I was SDA for 28 yrs and I was very actively involved, even an Elder etc etc but at some point, I started looking more intently into the doctrines. When I joined the church, RUclips, Google etc wasn’t even a thing. We barely had dial up and locating web sites with info to research Ellen was very difficult. Today, everything is at the touch of a mouse click. Even a lexicon is user friendly for the non Div degree laymen. People need to know the truth and it took me a few years to discover just a fraction of what you have already posted on your channel. One of the first questions I was asked, “who hurt you”. I laughed hard when you stated that in one of your vids. You are so spot on and it’s great to see someone like you step up and tell the truth. Many scholars have done it and were shunned and criticized for their work and exposing the lies that is Adventism. I loved the church, the people, the community, but the truth is the truth, she lied and made a ton of money in her day selling books and dress patterns. It’s a life or death revealing of truth that people need to hear. The SDA scoffers will come flooding the comments but oh well. Keep up the good work!

Im in the process of removing everything SDA from my mind and studying various theologies. What I’m not and won’t be is a Dispensationalist. I have not nor ever will believe in a secret rapture and 7 year tribulation. The Bible is clear on that for me and that’s what Peter is referring to in 2 Peter 3:16, Paul’s teaching on the second coming. What’s most important for someone leaving is to know and understand that you are saved, and “only by the free gift of God” received by faith. No amount of works cloaked in love will do anything for you. With that, read and understand what the “law of Christ” means because if you were SDA, you likely never heard the phrase and it’s in the Bible. Use a lexicon to study SDA proof texts and learn the meaning of Entole and Nomos and how John used them differently in his gospel and Revelation.

You are right, no one cares that you worship on saturday. It is only something to make those who worship on Saturday afraid that may be forced to worship on sunday. What purpose would it serve?
Ellen white worshipped on Sundays for years before she was convinced to worshipped on saturday.
If you read in exodus 16 it wasn't a worship day it was a day of rest from daily work at home. They weren't even supposed to leave their house. The 7th advents leave their house every Saturday, and say they are keeping sabbath. 🤔
Jesus has fulfilled that sign of the old covenant so we don't have to keep it in the new covenant.

The official Adventist church in Samoa worships on Sunday every week and is celebrated by all Christians calling it the common day of worship.
The way this happened is that Samoa government decided there was more trade with Australia and Samoa being very close to the international date line makes this possible.
Samoa in one week removed Wednesday from their week making Sunday of that week the seventh day.
There is a breakaway SDA church not approved by the general conference which worships on Saturday

A common method of evangelizing for them. They’ll leave her literature all over the place. Many times her name isn’t even on the spine or the cover. They bury it in the back of the book.
Her editors tried to make her sound Christian. OR she just plagiarized other Christian writings. My SDA grandmother met Ellen White and found her to be dark and moody.

@@rayray4192 when I left the Adventist church I went to a church that was charismatic/non-denominational. Mostly because there was joy and life, and you could see the love of Jesus on peoples faces. In the Adventist church, the hymns sounded like funeral dirges, and everybody was always miserable. My mom was always depressed, I didn’t want to spend my life in that church and be that way. I’ve finally gotten to the point where I don’t hate hymns anymore.

Wish your channel would’ve been around about 10 to 15 years ago when I could’ve shared it with my parents. Unfortunately, they passed away, and I know for sure my mom went to her grave, fully convinced of SDA and EGW teachings. And under the former Covenant, Sabbath breaking was such an immoral offense that death by stoning was the price paid for doing so. WHO CHANGED THE SABBATH? 364 AD, at the Council of Laodicea (Canon 29), the Church of Rome (which would later become the Catholic Church) committed an unholy travesty. The Church of Rome literally made it unlawful to obey the 7th Day Sabbath Commandment. And they added a “curse” upon you if you did! Without any Biblical authority, they attempted to transfer the sacredness of the holy 7th Day Sabbath… TO SUNDAY, THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK! THE BIBLE TEACHES US OF 2 TYPES OF SABBATHS: The Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths & The 4th Commandment Sabbath! The Scripture below, in Colossians 2:16, is clearly referring to the Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths of Leviticus 23… such as Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Atonement, and 4 more.
COLOSSIANS 2:16 “So let no one judge you in FOOD or in DRINK, or REGARDING A FESTIVAL or a NEW MOON or SABBATHS.” (PLURAL IN THE KJV & NKJV) There are 6 Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths! Also, read the entire chapter of Romans 14. Christians also use Romans 14:5 to justify not obeying the Sabbath Command. But Romans chapter 14 has over 20 FOOD, DRINK, EATING, AND FEAST references. Clearly, Paul is again teaching that the CEREMONIAL FEAST DAY SABBATHS are no longer mandatory. They were part of the 613 Mosaic Laws and are thankfully nailed to the cross of Messiah. Colossians 2:14. See Leviticus 23 where YHWH calls the Feast Days “SABBATHS!” Unlike the weekly Sabbath, these 6 “Shadow” Sabbaths were calculated by the moon and were annual, not weekly.

In Hebrew 6:1-2 St Paul lays down the basic teaching about Christ but says to leave it behind and advance to maturity. Here is how Hebrews 6:1-2 reads: Therefore, let us leave behind the basic teaching about Christ and advance to maturity, without laying the foundation all over again: repentance from dead works and faith in God, instruction about baptisms and laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.
Then the apostle Paul goes on to say how it is impossible to bring back to repentance again those who had once been enlightened but had fallen away. St Paul doesn't want believers to be stagnant or lukewarm that can lead to sliding down and a falling away down the line, but he eagerly desires for them to mature.
It's worthy to note that Paul talks of baptism in the plural. In Corinthians St Paul refers to people who were baptized on behalf of the dead. The great St Paul says it therefore we must consider it.
Forget Ellen White, and read Revelation (especially chapters 18-20): the Bible itself predicts that before Jesus’ return, there will be a great persecution of God’s people who refuse to submit to the prevailing worldwide religio-political entity that enforces the mark of the beast.

So no, his resurrection did not honor the day of the sun god. But abolishing the Sabbath, which is God's chosen holy day, and keeping the day of the sun god instead of the day of the true God, is honoring the day of the sun god. You abolished the Sabbath, turned Sunday into a new version of the Sabbath, on which you rest according to your own will and can do what you want, and then claim the Sabbath has been spiritualized and the day of the Lord is not a real day anymore, but the Sabbath is whatever you want it to be. Walter Vieth Always used to creep me out because he was one the Adventist preachers who would most use Ellen White's spirit of prophecy in all, and I mean all of his sermons. Most of their delusions around this is Sunday being a replacement for the Sabbath. I have argued this point with my older brother who is so incensed that "God's Holy Sabbath was stolen by the Catholic Church." - I explained to him over and over that I know of NO "sunday-worshippers" who believe Sunday is a replacement for the Sabbath, or even a Sabbath at all. They believe that the Sabbath rest is fulfilled in Christ as we rest from our works to earn our salvation and trust in the merits of Christ's work on our behalf. We place our trust and faith in Him, not in our ability to keep commandments.

Ellen White uses the name "Jehovah", like the so called "witnesses" ? This is incredible ! They are so alike.
The German Elberfelder Bible used the name "Jehovah" in the past. It was a common name for God back then. Sam Shamoun, who is Catholic or Orthodox, even uses the name to this day.
The Hebrew name of God, Yahweh, was written as YHWH in the hebrew Bible and as Kyrios (Lord) in the Greek. The Jews were afraid of accidently using God's name in vain, so they added the vowels of "Adonai" (Hebrew for "Lord") into YHWH and turned it into YaHoWaiH or something like that. This was then translated as Jehovah back in that time. It's normal for a Christian - no matter if he believes in the Trinity or not - to refer to God as Jehovah. I sometimes do it, although I usually use the name Yahweh.
She used the name "Jehovah" because it is written in the Bible. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH JEHOVAH'S WITHNESS.

The people of God were slain by their very own who claimed to serve God. Stephen in Acts 7 is a good example.

In Revelation 17 the Bible clearly says that the harlot woman was drunk with the blood of the saints.
Revelation 17:6 KJV - And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
An apostate church will persecute the True church is clearly shown to be the case.
Revelation 12 is clearly an indication of this very thing.

Thank you for kindly appealing to Christians to reach out to their SDA friends. I didn’t think too long about the consequences when I left the SDA church. As a pastor I was excited about what the Lord had done in my life and was so eager to join a community of faith that believed like I did, and wanted to share the Gospel with others. But boy was I in for a surprise! Tragically evangelicalism, even a lot of Reformed folk are stagnant in their comfort, hustle ideology, idolatry of politics and straight up racism masked as patriotism. It’s been very hard to fit in, and many of my former friends, family and colleagues love what I now preach ,but are so afraid to leave the SDA community. (Many, like my mom have become Keller and Piper junkies, lol!)
I know this channel isn’t about the state of evangelicalism per se, but one must admit that adventism behaves like a small family with all its benefits and flaws. Once you belong its hard to leave it. Evangelicalism is extremely individualistic and consumeristic, puts so much effort into production for the Sunday worship service, and there’s barely any shepherding being done during the week… stories of men like Driscoll are way too common unfortunately. Thoughts?

I’m often accused of being angry at Adventists and that I left because of that (a common assertion), but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I loved the SDA world and community. I wasn’t a contrarian SDA. I was involved. But the truth led me out despite that.
But I agree regarding evangelicalism and the Reformed world. This is something I’ve (outside of this channel) been very vocal about. The American zeitgeist has impacted both worlds in a negative way and it needs to be addressed.
I thank God that my family is now a part of a Reformed church that isn’t that. Quite the opposite. But I definitely understand that isn’t the norm, sadly.

You don't have to be an Adventist in order to obey our Father's holy and eternal Commandments. I'M NOT AND NEVER BEEN! There are two sets of Biblical Laws. One set of Laws (the 613 Mosaic Laws) have been fulfilled by the Messiah. And those laws, ordinances, commandments, retributions, sacrifices, and death penalties have thankfully been nailed to the cross of the Savior. (Colossians 2:14).
However, the 2nd set of Laws is totally distinguishable from the Law of Moses. And according to our Messiah, these Laws are eternal and lead to everlasting life (Matthew 19:16-17). The Laws I’m now speaking of are the holy, handwritten in stone, 10 Commandments. These 10 moral Laws are applicable until death do us part. Although Paul often wrote about the “curse of the law” (Mosaic Law), see what Paul says about the holy 10 COMMANDS: Romans 2:13 “For not the HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST in the sight of GOD, but the DOERS OF THE LAW WILL BE JUSTIFIED.” Yet, Christians & Catholics seem to pretend that there are only 8 or 9 Commandments to obey, but there are 10.
THE 10 COMMANDMENTS and the Law of Moses are not the same. Moses wrote the 613 Mosaic Laws in a book… Deuteronomy 31:24 “So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished.” But our Heavenly Father wrote His perfect and eternal Laws, in stone. THE ONLY SCRIPTURE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE THAT’S LITERALLY WRITTEN BY YHWH: Exodus 31:18 “And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.” Moses broke the first set of stone tablets in righteous anger. YHWH rewrote a duplicate copy, again in stone. Exodus 34:1, 28.
Disobeying ANY of our Heavenly Father’s 10 Commandments is a very dangerous habit that most Christians & Catholics practice. The half-brother of the Messiah, through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, warned against this rebellious lifestyle. He declared that if you break one of the laws, you’re guilty of all 10. James 2:10-11: “For WHOEVER shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit ADULTERY,” also said, “Do not MURDER.” Now if you do not commit ADULTERY, but you do MURDER, YOU HAVE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF THE LAW.”
Please note that Brother James specifically quoted from the 10 Commandments to give accurate context of which set of Laws he was referring to.
As children of the Most High God, we are not to cherry-pick which of His handwritten-in-stone 10 Laws we deem are worthy of our obedience. The 10 Commands are the Supreme Laws in the entire Bible. And under the former Covenant, Sabbath breaking was such an immoral offense that death by stoning was the price paid for doing so. And the New Testament clearly teaches that our Savior and His Disciples honored the holy 7th Day Sabbath. The 7th Day is the only weekday that the Bible ever declared as blessed, hallowed, and sanctified.
No Gentile Christian was ever found in Church on Sunday in the Bible! The account cited in Acts 20 was an informal gathering in the “Upper Room” of someone’s house! It was not in the synagogue. The New Testament Gentile Christians kept the Sabbath Day Holy! ACTS 13:42 & 44 (KJV) “So when the JEWS went out of the synagogue, the GENTILES begged that these words might be preached to them the NEXT SABBATH. 44 On the NEXT SABBATH almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.” Notice no mention of Sunday, the 1st day of the week. The GENTILES said they’ll wait until “the next Sabbath!”
WHO CHANGED THE SABBATH? 364 AD, at the Council of Laodicea (Canon 29), the Church of Rome (which would later become the Catholic Church) committed an unholy travesty. The Church of Rome literally made it unlawful to obey the 7th Day Sabbath Commandment. And they added a “curse” upon you if you did! Without any Biblical authority, they attempted to transfer the sacredness of the holy 7th Day Sabbath… TO SUNDAY, THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK! And this heretical act has been the status quo, for both Catholics & Christians ever since. 1700 years of man-made, Commandment breaking dogma! (Google it!)
THE BIBLE TEACHES US OF 2 TYPES OF SABBATHS: The Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths & The 4th Commandment Sabbath! The Scripture below, in Colossians 2:16, is clearly referring to the Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths of Leviticus 23… such as Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Atonement, and 4 more.
COLOSSIANS 2:16 “So let no one judge you in FOOD or in DRINK, or REGARDING A FESTIVAL or a NEW MOON or SABBATHS.” (PLURAL IN THE KJV & NKJV) There are 6 Ceremonial Feast Day Sabbaths! Also, read the entire chapter of Romans 14. Christians also use Romans 14:5 to justify not obeying the Sabbath Command. But Romans chapter 14 has over 20 FOOD, DRINK, EATING, AND FEAST references. Clearly, Paul is again teaching that the CEREMONIAL FEAST DAY SABBATHS are no longer mandatory. They were part of the 613 Mosaic Laws and are thankfully nailed to the cross of Messiah. Colossians 2:14. See Leviticus 23 where YHWH calls the Feast Days “SABBATHS!” Unlike the weekly Sabbath, these 6 “Shadow” Sabbaths were calculated by the moon and were annual, not weekly.

Your speech gives me Noah's time vibes. People did not believe his warnings like nothing is gonna happen. If we pay attention not the biggest religious group are right in general. That's SDA concern...so few people believe that world is gonna polarize in the end times.
It is true that some SDA mischaracterise the end times, but they bottom line is true. Satan has something with Law abiding people and tries to make the renounce God.
Also you are pretty agresive now already in your responses, and attitude towards disagreeing SDA's. Imagine how would be when the Holy Spirit slowly withdraws from the earth. This is why former brethren are to be the worst enemies then.
