- I believe that it is important to understand what the different faith teach about getting ourselves saved. This is not a take-down of this movement, rather, an explanation of what they do believe and how it compares to what the Bible says.

You have no right judging someone based on their religion, we are called to defend the faith once given. We are to study for ourselves to be approved. When you or I stand before God to give an account where in the bible does it say we are to defend a religion? Nowhere, we are called to be apologetics for Christ. SDA’s have a different Jesus and a different gospel. They believe that Jesus has the nature of an angel. That gospel is cursed as per Galatians 1. What is "legalistic" about resting on the Sabbath? Surely Sundaykeepers do the very same thing?! I was told off by a churchwoman for going to a shop open on Sunday.
I told her Sunday was not the Sabbath, and she retorted quite adamantly, "Sunday is Sunday and that's the end of it!" If Sabbathkeeping is wrong don't rest on "Sun"-day! 🙃

There are numerous informational errors in this video as there are in all those that try and critique SDAdventism, I'll hit the first one. Hyram Edson didn't explore anything, he was given a vision of the sanctuary in heaven and then studied it all out, going through Hebrews 7-10. Also, two other men refused the call before Ellen White, both were given the same first vision, and both refused to heed the call. This is when Ellen White was chosen. But you don't teach all the facts, and neither does anyone else who wants to shed a dark light on what we believe.
You can't deny the facts friend, and to claim visions from above is risky to say the least as the evil one can counterfeit these, which he has done with false teachers who put themselves above the Word of God. I suggest you leave this movement.

Show me another figure in the last 1700 years that completes the test of Isaiah 8:20 in the same way E.G.W. did. You can't, none exists, especially since everyone that came out of Romes' religious dogma kept Sunday.

6:00 the idea that the second goat is a demon is literally in the bible, Leviticus 17 directly says that the people will no longer sacrifice to the goat demon... and this is well understood by the early church fathers.

The Word of God had been darkened through the Roman persecution in the dark ages, and truth was suppressed, so many fled to America to escape the church state tyranny of Rome, and truth had to be rediscovered again, and in order for that to happen, God rose up many men from all different religions to rediscover the truth, but they all lacked the fullness of truth, where God raised up two others before Ellen White, to present it, but they did not heed the call, so He chose Ellen White and she heeded the call and brought all the truths from each of those religions and put them together, and that is how the SDA Church was formed.

If I am asked what my version of the gospel message is, I would say that it is as biblical as I can have it, once depart from biblical theology and we are adrift, Hebrews 2:1.
I understand that, an eternal personal God created mankind after His own image; that God commanded man not to disobey Him in the garden; man chose to disobey along with his wife Eve; this caused them to become sinful and estranged from their Creator; the Son of God, Christ, agreed with the Father to become an atonement for the sins of all mankind, 1 John 2:2; man being of free-will was provided with an offering of forgiveness freely offered by the propitiation of Christ; I do not believe the Bible to be teaching a deterministic decision by God as to who will be saved and not saved; the free gift is for 'no-one unconditionally' and for 'all conditionally'; upon faith in the finished work of Christ one is made right with God, acceptable, without human works, although good works will follow a right faith, as SDA'ers endeavour to do; I do not disrespect the SDA movement, I believe they are sincere people in many ways; but we can all be led astray by others who are not in complete obedience to God's Word the Bible; if we bring the role of law into our being saved then it compromises the finished and complete work of Christ on that cross; His work is complete and sufficient in itself for the Creator; yes, we are to display the 'spirit' of the law in our lives, but not to rely on obedience to law in any way for being right with God; I believe that we need to be careful of worshipping a movement or denomination which has been created by man, and that we can all be in danger of this; I do not believe that Ellen White's claim to have had inspired visions by divine enabling; Muhammed claimed that and look what we have in the world today, millions misled regarding their salvation, although I would not put Ellen on the same level as this; it seems to me that there is, and always has been, some degree of theological confusion in the SDA church, which of course we can get caught up in as the world of theology is so vast, isn't it? so maybe you are not all wrong, but I think we do need to keep refining our theology all the time to be certain we get it correct, I think this is so important; after all we are supposed to people who want to know the truth of it; I am willing to share more of my understanding if you desire, but will leave it there for the moment. You cannot call that a cult belief. You may not like it you may be in violation to the 4th commandment. But you cannot get rid of it. Trampling on the Lord’s Day (the Sabbath) and Honoring Sunday is a cultish belief that has no foundation in the Bible.

I believe you also made some mistakes, although very small! I have studied Ellen Gould Harman White most of my life! WHY? because I am supposed to be a direct descendent of one Dr. John Harvey Kellogg's "kids"!! And I am wondering what made Ellen White "tick"!? Who and what was she? I have long left the S.D.A. church because of greed and HYPOCRISY! Read many of her books! Studyed with my grandmother, who used to write for the "Signs of the Times"! Always wondered why a sick, non educated person could write such a brilliant book called "The Great Contraversity"?! I believe that she had nightmares (dreams) about losing the dream of William Miller's predictions. James White reconized that it was the perfect excuse for their error, and formed the Àdventist church! With the Jehovah's witnesses going in another direction! After attending the churchs boarding schools, I left the church! WHY? Because of the isolation, CENSORSHIP, mind control! Had to work in their boarding schools tax free school factorys, to pay my own child support! yet they wanted me to pay " tithes" on my so- called " earnings".! PURE SLAVE LABOR! . After running away, what they did to reconvert me was UNFORGIVABLE!! I believe they are nothing but a religious business and a CULT!

INVESTIGATIVE JUDGMENT.... to get written in the Lamb's book of life you have to enter in to service for Jesus ; just like the 70 whom Jesus sent out in twos and to whom He said " don't be excited about the miracles etc ,but be excited that your name is written in the book " . During the investigative judgment our Father reveals to the Son the thoughts and heart desires of those written in the Lamb's book of life . All those who do not have agape love for all ( necessity of agape love to all - last vhapter of John) are blotted out of the lamb book . All who remain in the Lamb's book have the transgressions on their life record transferred onto Lucifer's life record ; at some time in the future Lucifer will be punished for all transgressions on his life record . Those remaining written in the Lamb's book are as if they never transgressed .
Lucifer is not a proper name, nor is it a synonym for Satan.
This is nothing more than an SDA fairy tale and doctrines of devil's. Basic Bible 101, the guilty are never punished for the guilty.

The context determines the meaning of every biblical passage. When Jesus said, “the Sabbath was made for man” he was not arguing with the Pharisees about whether the Sabbath to was applicable to the Jews or applicable to all of humanity. If that was the point Jesus wanted to make he would have said, “The Sabbath was made for man, not just for Israel”. Jesus was speaking to an entirely Jewish crowd who were under the obligations of the Old Covenant, so there was no need to make an argument about the Sabbath being applicable to others. The question at hand was whether it was acceptable for these Israelites to break the Sabbath as they did when they were hungry.
Jesus was saying that ceremonial law shouldn’t be used to oppress people when they are hungry. Man’s need preempts the ceremonial Sabbath. When he said that he was Lord ALSO of the Sabbath, he was saying that he was Lord on EVERY day of the week, including Saturday. The important thing for his disciples is not to check to see what say of the week it is, but to see what it is that their Lord wants them to do. Disciples/slaves are obligated to their Lord at all times. The disciples were picking grain with Jesus’ approval. That’s what mattered. They answer to Him, not the law.
Christians were meeting on Sunday long before there ever was a Pope. SDA theolgian Samuele Bacchiocchi admitted that Christians were meeting on Sunday no later than AD 135, which exposes Ellen White to be a fraud.
The Lord’s Day in Revelation 1:10 is not the Jewish Sabbath. The NT was written in Greek. The term “Lord’s” is kuriakos. The term was commonly used in the Roman Empire before Christian influence had been felt. In secular use it signified "imperial," "belonging to the lord"-the emperor-and so its adoption by Christianity in the sense "belonging to the Lord"-to Christ-was perfectly easy. The first day of the week in Greece was NEVER called “Sunday” or the “day of the sun”. That term “kuriakos” is only used twice in the New Testament. It’s other usage in 1 Corinthians 11:20, the Lord’s table. It is only applied to things that belong exclusively to Christ, and not shared with anyone else.
The book of Hebrews speaks of ANOTHER DAY, called TODAY. We can enter into the never-ending spiritual rest found in Christ TODAY. A mere 24-hour physical rest is no comparison to the eternal rest found in the person of Jesus. “Come unto me...”.

Amends to make! SDA have a different gospel. Hear me out! While individual believers may be born-again Christians in the real sense and living under grace despite their environment, perhaps only adopting a certain grade of the corporate heresy, the belief system of Adventism proper leans on the Great Controversy theme, a narrative frame set by Ellen G. White's most important works which is the fallback and go-to reference to define what the Bible supposedly says about everything and which informs an set of interdependent special doctrines non-negoitable to justify the denomination"s right of existence (as
the Remnant Church of the end time endowed with... well that very message).
Their "Everlasting Gospel" aka the Three Angels' Message makes salvation hinge on Sabbath keeping, because the Seal of God on the believers supposedly equals Sabbath observance, Sunday worship constitutes the Mark of the Beast, the Ten Commandments must be kept in order to qualify for eternal life, Christ's sacrifice on the cross suffices only to clear ones's record initially and make one eligible to qualify for justification later on, which will turn out as one's indivdual result of the investigative judgement which Christ has allegedly been conducting since 1844 in the Heavenly Sanctuary and will close immediately before the great tribulation. During great tribulation, the righteous will then have to stand flawless on their own without Christ's intercession, having reached sinless perfection in their lives by not only abstaining from sin but also recalling and confessing each and every transgression to Christ for complete (itemized!) forgiveness. Their own effort must by then have born fruit to prove worthy of the given chance to implement a godly lifestyle, including adherence to the dos and don'ts of the Adventist "health message" (which is also being marketed like an auxiliary gospel). Donning Christ's righteousness is understood as successful character development, trying to be perfect until you finally get it right so you finally can do it without Jesus making up for you. (While the Bible instead makes it clear that you can only either hide in Christ or stand condemned in your own filthy rags, no third option available.) According to l the Great Controversy, it is on the Believers to prove the Law can be kept. God relies on them to vindicate His righteousness.
An Adventist who actually checks all the boxes of these doctrinal add-ons is thus never confident of his salvation, never done and resting in Christ's finished proipitiatory work. Let alone the nowadays rather obscured historical hardcore Adventist belief that Christ was actually not fully God in the flesh between the cradle and the ascension, the still belief that He could have sinned and failed but - luckily for us - managed not to, which is to serve as our example and as the proof that the Law can be kept.
Which, again, according to Ellen White's Great Controversy worldview is the whole point why Jesus came and even why humanity existst. Namely because God has to defend Himself against the accusations of Achangel Lucifer who, prior to the creation of the Earth, when God declared the Archangel Michael Son of God, became jelaous of that special relation and position, which led to him becoming Satan, leading rebellion in heaven, resulting in the fall of him and a third of the angels, proceeding as the Serpent then to targeting humanity in Eden and enrolling them into the rebellion as well to hit God where it hurts. Michael aka the Son then(!) came up(!) with the redemption plan which initially took Him 3 attempts to convince the Father of. (Because it was too risky, I guess.)
Seriously? Yes, indeed. You get the vibe. It hurts you spiritually to believe this stuff, but it is also a source of identity and pride. With the prophetic insider info from the Great Controversy framework, the subscriber can feel special for having an edge over the lost and an important role in the universe.
Now you can also guess what goes on underneath when the SDA notoriously equivocate the Spirit of Prophecy with Ellen White and find a bunch of strange things in the Bible that one could never come up with - if it wasn't for smuggling them in to begin with.
So the SDA believe they have the truth, meaning their distinctive doctrine is biblical and the Spirit of Prophecy serves to confirm it is there, however, unfortunately it's not in the Bible. Part of the SDA bonus material may echo (may I say: originate) elsewhere, like the book of Enoch and Milton's "Paradise Lost", but Ellen, who gave it her own twist to spin it into a more or less coherent plot, is tentatively claimed that it was all revealed to her by God directly and thus this stuff, in her own words, is "barricaded by a 'thus sayeth the LORD"", regardless of how blatantly these teachings contradict the Bible as well as how many predictive prophecies which she made in her time demonstrably failed. (I spare you the details here, but the evidence is available, see below.) Both the deviant doctrine and the false predictions in conjunction with the claim to speak in the LORDS name would have had her stoned as a false prophet in the Old Covenant and excommunicated in the New. But this cannot be, so the question is being suppressed to the point that the average believer never gets exposed to the infamous "White Lie" discussion at all, and for the ones concerned, sufficient amounts of counter propaganda can be provided to supply the demand for an answer and quell the urge for a Berean's independent investigation.
It really is that bad, on the corporate level. SDAdventism is a hot mess, presenting as mostly harmless and claiming to be Christian, while simultaneously considering Christian orthodoxy as apostate, fallen, fallen daughters of the Great Harlot Babylon. From the outside, they use all the Christian lingo, but to them the words carry a different meaning. So coming from outside (and even inside out) you only ever see the tip of the iceberg of confusion.
