I've always thought of the SDA church as just another denomination that worships on Saturdays. I only started to dig into what they actually believe when my uncle joined them and started exhibiting the most arrogant, cultish behavior I've ever witnessed.
When Jesus said "other sheep have I that I need to bring into the fold"that prophesy was fulfilled from Pentecost onwards when Gentiles and unconverted Jews were brought into the fold and has nothing to do with a cult that was birthed in 1844

I believe Adventists have no idea how other churches work In the Anglican church here in Canberra if a person or family decide to join a Penticostal Baptist or Presbyterian church they are invited to join the minister at the front of the church to say their goodbys and they are encouraged in front of everyone present to continue in the faith in their new church. This will not happen in an Adventist church . Our King is head of the Anglican church but when he visits Scotland he is a Presbyterian
SDA's gospel mission is to save those that worship on a Sunday to come to the true Sabbath Saturday. This is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As Paul stated If anyone else preaches a different Gospel. Let them be a curse. You are saved from faith not works. You cannot serve 2 masters for one will hate the other. I cannot serve Moses and Jesus at the same time. The Law is from the tribe of Levi and it is clear that that you cannot add nor take away from the Law of Moses. Yet Jesus has new Laws that fulfill all other Laws. Jesus is not from the Tribe of Levi, he is from the tribe of Judah, I'm am from the tribe of Judah and not subjected to follow the Laws of Moses as he is from the tribe of Levi. (Both Jew and Gentile would no longer be separated but be as One Body) Jesus would BRING this other sheep to the fold through His Death and Resurrection. Before Jesus Christ, Gentiles were not considered to be God's people in any way. Jews and Gentiles were not ONE under God's First Covenant with Israel; the Old Covenant, the Old Testament - but under the Second Covenant, the New Covenant, the New Testament, things changed. JESUS is the One Shepherd; CHRISTIANS from ALL and ANY church denomination, whether one chooses to worship on a Saturday or Sunday - we make up the One Fold spoken of in this verse making Jesus OUR Shepherd. But OMG! The poor souls in Adventism believe otherwise which in turn makes GOD and JESUS LIARS - according to their theology, of course. Do they realize what they're doing by twisting Scriptures? Obviously not! They have changed the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ - which only their followers believe. CHRISTIANITY came with Jesus Christ - bringing Jews and Gentiles together as followers of Christ for before Christ, Jews and Gentiles were a separate group of people; Israelites were the "people of God" and Gentiles/non-Israelites were classed as "heathens; people who did not know God." The "other nations," or "Israel's enemies" whom God was driving out before the Israelites were Gentiles - yet Adventism's theology claim that WE - Gentiles/non-Israelites/non-Jews were given the Ten Commandments/the Law of Moses/the Law, when Scripture states specifically and explicitly, that the Ten Commandments was given to the Children of Israel. With their theology, it means that Gentiles/the other nations/Israel's enemies were together with them, in the wilderness, on Mount Sinai when God gave Moses the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20! (Adventists, be sure to read verse 22. Again, this makes God out to be a LIAR because, according to Doug, the SDA church was given the "oracles of truth!" My God! 😮😮😮 Paul says in Romans 3:2 - "...because that unto them (Israelites/Jews) were committed the "oracles of God." This means Israel had been given the Word of God - through Moses, and the various prophets who ministered to Israel before Christ came. Note that it didn't say the "oracles of truth" -and it wasn't given to the 'nation of SDA'S' 😁 or the SDA church. Deuteronomy 4:7-8 - "For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for? "And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?" Scripture further states in Samuel 7:23 - "And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, ...which thou redeemedest to thee from Egypt (Gentiles), from the nations and their God's? So we see and know that SDA'S Fundamental Belief #13 is an outright lie and the Scriptures used as evidence, to prove a lie, does not pertain to the SDA church. This 'Remnant and its mission" is EGW'S remnant - not God's remnant - and they are carrying out EGW'S mission - not God's. Neither are SDA'S Jesus' remnant because His remnant includes all people who believe in Him and His Commandments till the end; for when one keeps the Commandments of Christ, one is also keeping the commandments of God. There is no distinction between Jew and Gentile farless SDA'S and other Christians. Revelation 12:17 is not exclusively yours, SDA or else this makes God a LIAR. I should say that YOU make Him out to be a Liar! But I'll say this: if SDA'S think they are special, a "peculiar people," then they really are because no other Christian except one is a follower of EGW, a member of the SDA church understands Scripture as they do.

When I talk to people about Christian denominations, I say we have unity on the essentials and liberty on the non essentials. I do not agree with the Adventist essentials, there for we are not in unity.

I have been praying for over a year before you connected with him that you two would work together. The Lord answered my prayers. Being directly related to a former conference president of multiple states and vp of general conference. I participate in praising God that some are set free from the sda cult that my family is currently and was involved in the promotion of the sda doctrines. Doug Bachelor and Shawn Boonstra had their TV 📺 programs and disseminated The 7th Day Adventist Doctrine. They have popularized it and their seed have been sown widely.

So aptly quoted from John Harris's book "The Great Teacher." Ellen White is not the original author of these words. She stole them from Harris who wrote his book when she was a young girl and before she had a ministry at all. John Harris includes all of God's children in his writing of the statement and Ellen White indicates that only SDAs are God's church.

I belong to a pentacostal church and we dont preach that we are the true church or the remenant church or if you dont join are church you are going to hell its not bibical what the sda church teaches
I watched much of Millennium of Prophecy and printed out all the study guides. More than most of the scripture verses were ripped out of context to prooftext the SDA narrative. In that series only once or twice does Doug mention he's SDA and only in one of the lesson print outs is EGW mentioned. This seemed rather deceptive to me.

The Roman vhurch were the first to introduce Sunday worship to the world and their catechism states that Saturday is the Sabbath of God. Doesn't any body feel like keeping Saturday the Sabbath of God instead of Sunday the Sabbath of the romans

In North America there is "The 1858 Great Controversy" her fist one which she actually wrote, and in 1884 she wrote "The 1884 Great Controversy", This one she calls her best work. Also in that same year a committee of 5 conference members were delegated to re-edit and rewrite this book and the original testimonies. In 1888 the committee of 5 published "The 1888 Great Controversy" and put EGW's name on it, with over 200 pages of re-editing from the 1884 version. This prosses was done again in 1911, with more re-editing, this time WW Prescott was a major influence in the writing of "The 1911 Great Controversy". The SDA people are lied to, by the White Estate and the SDA Conference, about her and books. The book "Desire of Ages" was compiled by the White Estate staff secretary Marion B Davis, plagiarizing the work of Samuel J. Andrews, "The Life of Our Lord Upon the Earth". EGW did not write this book, which also has errors in it as do all the EGW books circulating in SDA conference book stores.

The SDA message diverts people from Jesus Christ and the gospel message. If someone thinks that their works can change their character and that they can make themselves 'perfect' ( though the SDA church doesn't understand what perfect means anyhow) then they will be prone to feel entitled to God's gifts as if they earned them and also be judgemental of others who they don't feel are measuring up to their Ellen made rules- kind of like the pharisees. God actually has way more than just “ten commandments”, the greatest of which is to Love God and Love your neighbor. Linguistically, there’s no such thing as “Ten Commandments”, the Hebrew word is “devar” (word) not “miztov” (commandments) in other words it’s the “ten words” or “ten sayings”, that’s why the word “Decalogue” is used, (Deca = Ten) + (Logos = Words) = Ten Words. God did not give “ten commandments” at Sinai per se, he gave a Law which consistent of over 600 Commandments, among which Ten are used as an executive summary representing the whole.
God remnants are those who keep the commandments of the heart (love) NOT what's written on stone. Furthermore SDA cannot be a remnant church when their founders didn't originally recognize a Sabbath but was told about it from someone else. They then monetized on the name "SDA" to make a profit from people like you and used the misinterpretation of the Catholic church to further cement their cause. All SDA members are suckers.

Interesting that you did not use the Seventh Day Adventist in the different denominations. You seem very angry about the SDA Church. I am new to the Bible and all denominations in the USA coming from Europe, there is catholicism and protestantism, mainly,was when I was young. I heard Doug Batchelor say once on Growing Truth Radio, if there is a denomination closer to the Bible, he will go there. Isn't it true, followers of Christ are a peculiar people, no jewelry, no tatoos, no riches, simple clothes, no alcohol, no cigarettes, no meat, no adultery, no lying and so much more, but one thing very much, to love thy naighbour and to honor God. And isn't Doug Batchelor as well thy neighbour? That is why I like the Seventh Day Adventist Church - it's the 4th Commandment,, Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. Doug's point is The SDA church is God's Remnant, not because we are all saved but rather because we hold the oracles of truth (doctrinal purity), just as Israel. The Jewish nation in Christ's day, more than any other religion were safeguarding doctrinal purity or truth. Yet, the vast majority of them were lost, and rejected the Savior. Why? Because they did not experience new birth! So as a convert to this church I agree the SDA church appears doctrinal pure, yet there are those who have not been born again in our ranks, just as in any other church! True doctrine cannot save us, only Jesus can save. Yet God has a Remnant Church, a doctrinally pure church and our mission is to call all men back to sound doctrine. You seem to believe God has doctrinally divided churches with diametrically opposed teachings! You make God the author of confusion, which the Bible teaches He is not! Since those original Churches, established by the Apostles themselves, still exist and worship as they always have, how exactly is the SDA denomination the "one fold" spoken of in John 10 when it didn't come into existence until 1863? Uhh...the remnant church existed before the SDA's. It will exist even if the SDA church vanishes from the Earth. The remnant are those who are not a part of Babylon; either by coming out of it or not joining it. Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. The SDA church believes that the Bible doctrine as understood includes the members within Christ's remnant. There is only one Biblical truth, not many. 41,000 denominations cannot all be right. Other denominations besides SDAs all belive their doctrine is right. Some believe it doesn't matter what you believe, and assuredly that is not right. Therefore, it is not wrong for the SDAs to believe their understanding is the most correct. As an SDA, one who left an evangelical, protestant denomination. I am not married to Adventism, I'm committed to accurate Biblical understanding. I'd drop my membership in a heartbeat if I found a more accurate doctrine. Any truthful believer of any denomination should keep moving to Biblical truth.

I get the passage above and I’m an SDA, and not once to we ever say that we are the true remnant church. We say that we have a special message from God that other dominations don’t preach… which is biblical prophesy. In the Anglican church here in Canberra if a person or family decide to join a Penticostal Baptist or Presbyterian church they are invited to join the minister at the front of the church to say their goodbys and they are encouraged in front of everyone present to continue in the faith in their new church. This will not happen in an Adventist church .

In John 10:16, Jesus is referring to the Israelites and the rest of the world; Jews and gentiles. Those of us who would come to know God through Him; Christians who would be called the "people of God," in the New Testament as the Israelites, God's chosen people were called in the Old Testament.
John 10:16: "And OTHER SHEEP (Gentiles/non Israelites/non Jews) I have which are not of THIS FOLD (Israel/Jews): them (Gentiles) also I must bring, and they (Gentiles) shall hear MY VOICE; (Jesus' words) and there shall be ONE FOLD, and ONE SHEPHERD." (Both Jew and Gentile would no longer be separated but be as One Body) Jesus would BRING this other sheep to the fold through His Death and Resurrection. Before Jesus Christ, Gentiles were not considered to be God's people in any way. Jews and Gentiles were not ONE under God's First Covenant with Israel; the Old Covenant, the Old Testament - but under the Second Covenant, the New Covenant, the New Testament, things changed. JESUS is the One Shepherd; CHRISTIANS from ALL and ANY church denomination, whether one chooses to worship on a Saturday or Sunday - we make up the One Fold spoken of in this verse making Jesus OUR Shepherd.
But OMG! The poor souls in Adventism believe otherwise which in turn makes GOD and JESUS LIARS - according to their theology, of course. Do they realize what they're doing by twisting Scriptures? Obviously not! They have changed the whole Gospel of Jesus Christ - which only their followers believe.
CHRISTIANITY came with Jesus Christ - bringing Jews and Gentiles together as followers of Christ for before Christ, Jews and Gentiles were a separate group of people; Israelites were the "people of God" and Gentiles/non-Israelites were classed as "heathens; people who did not know God." The "other nations," or "Israel's enemies" whom God was driving out before the Israelites were Gentiles - yet Adventism's theology claim that WE - Gentiles/non-Israelites/non-Jews were given the Ten Commandments/the Law of Moses/the Law, when Scripture states specifically and explicitly, that the Ten Commandments was given to the Children of Israel. With their theology, it means that Gentiles/the other nations/Israel's enemies were together with them, in the wilderness, on Mount Sinai when God gave Moses the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20! (Adventists, be sure to read verse 22. Again, this makes God out to be a LIAR because, according to Doug, the SDA church was given the "oracles of truth!" My God! 😮😮😮
Paul says in Romans 3:2 - "...because that unto them (Israelites/Jews) were committed the "oracles of God." This means Israel had been given the Word of God - through Moses, and the various prophets who ministered to Israel before Christ came. Note that it didn't say the "oracles of truth" -and it wasn't given to the 'nation of SDA'S' 😁 or the SDA church.
Deuteronomy 4:7-8 - "For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for? "And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?"
Scripture further states in Samuel 7:23 - "And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, ...which thou redeemedest to thee from Egypt (Gentiles), from the nations and their God's?
So we see and know that SDA'S Fundamental Belief #13 is an outright lie and the Scriptures used as evidence, to prove a lie, does not pertain to the SDA church. This 'Remnant and its mission" is EGW'S remnant - not God's remnant - and they are carrying out EGW'S mission - not God's. Neither are SDA'S Jesus' remnant because His remnant includes all people who believe in Him and His Commandments till the end; for when one keeps the Commandments of Christ, one is also keeping the commandments of God. There is no distinction between Jew and Gentile farless SDA'S and other Christians. Revelation 12:17 is not exclusively yours, SDA or else this makes God a LIAR. I should say that YOU make Him out to be a Liar!
But I'll say this: if SDA'S think they are special, a "peculiar people," then they really are because no other Christian except one is a follower of EGW, a member of the SDA church understands Scripture as they do.
I pray that many SDA’s will be willing to test their doctrines. Their church is not only teaching them false doctrines, but is also lying to them about Christians and what we actually believe. And I hate lies! It’s time to speak the truth!

So aptly quoted from John Harris's book "The Great Teacher." Ellen White is not the original author of these words. She stole them from Harris who wrote his book when she was a young girl and before she had a ministry at all. John Harris includes all of God's children in his writing of the statement and Ellen White indicates that only SDAs are God's church.

I watched much of Millennium of Prophecy and printed out all the study guides. More than most of the scripture verses were ripped out of context to prooftext the SDA narrative. In that series only once or twice does Doug mention he's SDA and only in one of the lesson print outs is EGW mentioned. This seemed rather deceptive to me.

Linguistically, there’s no such thing as “Ten Commandments”, the Hebrew word is “devar” (word) not “miztov” (commandments) in other words it’s the “ten words” or “ten sayings”, that’s why the word “Decalogue” is used, (Deca = Ten) + (Logos = Words) = Ten Words. God did not give “ten commandments” at Sinai per se, he gave a Law which consistent of over 600 Commandments, among which Ten are used as an executive summary representing the whole.
God remnants are those who keep the commandments of the heart (love) NOT what's written on stone. Furthermore SDA cannot be a remnant church when their founders didn't originally recognize a Sabbath but was told about it from someone else. We say that we have a special message from God that other dominations don’t preach… which is biblical prophesy. She was given the gift of prophecy and with it she shown light for people to read their bible or the last days will be very hard; which is something a good majority of the Christian denominations don’t do these days.

I’m not a church goer but if you used the words Seventh-Day Adventist instead of SDA THIER message is really this. The remnant are all people’s of the world and during the Great Tribulation this true church or group of people known as Jesus followers will be just that not a church of man.
SDA seems like they have a lot of good things going for them. They keep commandments and don’t condemn non-trinitarians.
They literally violate the first commandment because they proselytize a false god (an idol). They violate the third commandment by uplifting a woman that bore Gods name falsely repeatedly claiming it was from God. They violate the sixth commandment in their hospitals where they are one of the largest murder mill networks in California. They violate the ninth commandment constantly by bearing false witness against the Christian church (which is hardcoded into their system of theology).
