I understand in this way in Genesis God created the Sabbath. And it is to be observed forever. Made before Abraham & Moses so if God says to observe it forever why would we want to call our Creator a Lier, Because that is exactly what we do when we try and put our ways above His ways. I'm not SDA, but the more I learn about their ideas about the end times, the more sense they make. And they certainly seem more plausible than the "Left Behind" series. The mark of the Christain, is under the water baptism. Even St. Paul was immersed in water, also Christ himself with John the Baptist. Now I wrote a wee booklet about the sabbath day, the keeping of the sabbath using scripture after much prayer, now like you you so e people disagreed with me, like you, I was told when Jesus went to the cross for you and me, he fulfilled all the laws. I tell you honestly I was worried, had I done the wrong thing writing this wee booklet, so when in distress go to the fountain head, Jesus Himself, I took my plight to Jesus asking him, on bended knees to show me the truth. This is what he showed me. Jesus showed me three sets of laws. 1st, The most important, the Holy Commandments, written by the very finger of God himself. We will for the moment set these over to the side. Now JESUS showed me the Laws of Moses, Now these laws were devided into two in front of me. We have what I would call here the laws for the people, marriage, compensation laws etc., and the laws of circumsision, laws of the sacrifice. These I will deal with first. When our blessed Lord went to the cross for my sins a nd yours and e ery one who believes in him, He was the true lamb of God, God's sacrificial lamb, who died in our stead, All the sacrificial laws, we're nailed to the cross, the vail of the temple was torn I two from the top to the bottom God and Man were reconciled at the death of the lamb of God . Now we look at the other laws , the laws of Moses, or the laws for the people, where they nailed to the cross, no they were not, why,? Because the people still needed laws by which to live by. We now come to the most important, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. WE'RE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS NAILED TO THE CROSS .? No. The ten comma dents are to stand eternally, for all ways, they were instigated from the very beginning Genesis Ch.2 V. 2 and 3. Almighty God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, a d made it a rest day for all men, not only Jews. THE SUNDAY REST BILL AND THE TRINITY "It will also be noticed that this 'league' [The International Sunday Observance League] has other plans besides the intention to prosecute those who will not bow to their man-made Sabbath. Perhaps they will prosecute those who do not believe in the Trinity." (Review and Herald, Nov.20, 1894, Vol.71, No.46, p.730 - SOURCE) We all know that Sunday laws are on the statute books of America, and many Seventh-day Adventists are waiting for the Sunday law to be enforced in fulfillment of the mark of the beast in Revelation 13. But what the majority of Seventh-day Adventists don't realize, is that attached to the Sunday law bills was another 'religious' law concerning the Trinity. Take a look at the following concerning the Breckinridge Bill, of which A.T.Jones and other Adventist leaders spoke against: "Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That it shall be unlawful for any person or corporation, or employe of any person or corporation in the District of Columbia, to perform any secular labor or business, or to cause the same to be performed by any person in their employment on Sunday, except works of necessity or mercy; nor shall it be lawful for any person or corporation to receive pay for labor or services performed or rendered in violation of this act ...." "...In this connection let me say, gentlemen, that the District of Columbia has just the same kind of a Sunday law as that of Ohio. This law of the District of Columbia was in force when this book was issued which I hold in my hand, which was April 1, 1868; and I am told that this law (which I will read) was re-enacted in 1874. I now quote from the law. Section 1 provides that- 'If any person shall DENY THE TRINITY, he shall, for the first offense, be bored through the tongue, and fined twenty pounds; ... and for the second offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall be stigmatized by burning on the forehead with the letter B, and fined forty pounds; and for the third offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall suffer death, without the benefit of the clergy.' Section l0 of the same law has this:- 'No person whatever shall do any bodily labor on the Lord's day, commonly called Sunday ... Now, gentlemen, that law has never been repealed." (Arguments on the Breckinridge Sunday Bill - source) You can also see the above confirmed in the book "American State Papers Bearing on Sunday Legislation" from 1911 - You can download the book HERE. Search for the word "Trinity" and you will see the references. "Taking this to some lawyers, they told us that the old law we had found was still binding. This is a very strict law, and provides that the offender shall pay a fine of 200 pounds of tobacco. But that which makes this law [Sunday law] appear so strange, is that it is found IN DIRECT CONNECTION with another statute which provides that any one who publicly denies the Trinity as commonly held, shall, for the first offense, have his tongue bored through, and for the third offense, suffer death without the benefit of the clergy. Possibly the reason why the promoters of the present Sunday law ignore the one now on the statutes, is because it is in the company of another law so barbarous in its make-up, thus showing the nature of the company Sunday laws of the past have always kept." (Review and Herald, Jan.21, 1890, Vol.67, No.3, p.44 - SOURCE) "There is now, on the statute-books of this District, an old Maryland law which has never been repealed, under which a person convicted of denying the Trinity, received the mark 'B' in his forehead [reading statute of date Oct. 26, 1723]." (Review and Herald, Feb.4, 1890, Vol.67, No.5, p.74 - SOURCE) So what law on the statute books is in 'direct connection' to the Sunday rest bill? The law that anyone who publicly denies the trinity will be persecuted. And we know that according to Rome, Sunday is directly connected to their trinity god ... "every Sunday is devoted to the honor of the Most Holy Trinity, that every Sunday is sanctified and consecrated to the triune God." (source) ... "Question 1092. What is Sunday, or the Lord's Day in general? A. It is a day dedicated by the Apostles to the honour of the most holy Trinity." (The Douay Catechism of 1649) "It will also be noticed that this 'league' [The International Sunday Observance League] has other plans besides the intention to prosecute those who will not bow to their man-made Sabbath. Perhaps they will prosecute those who do not believe in the Trinity. Their, spiritual ancestors, the Puritans, considered the arrest and punishment of those who rejected this church dogma as something pleasing to the Deity ... The doctrine of the Trinity and the sacredness of Sunday are both orthodox plums of marvelous sweetness to the ministerial too." (Review and Herald, Nov.20, 1894, Vol.71, No.46, p.730 - SOURCE) And what are all the churches uniting on today? THE TRINITY! Take a look at our ECUMENICAL GOD OF ROME page for more information on that. So Rome is uniting all the churches on it's Trinity god ready for the mark to be enforced! Now attached to the Sunday law bill in Ohio, we find the following exemption ... "The proviso of the Sunday law exempts those only who conscientiously observe the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath." (Arguments on the Breckinridge Sunday Bill, [see source above]). So 7th day Sabbath keepers would be exempt. But those who deny the trinity would be punished! Do you see the deception of Rome? Is this going to factor into the coming Sunday law? We will see. But the fact shows that this is not just about the Sunday law, as the trinity god of Rome is closely connected to it. "Now what more was ever required by the papacy, and all phases of the old order of things, than is thus brought within the meaning of the national Constitution by this decision? What more was ever required by the papacy itself than that "the Christian religion" should be the national religion; that the discipline of the Church should be maintained by the civil power; that the religious test oath should be applied to all; that the public should be taxed for the support of religion and religious worship; that there should be required a belief in the doctrine of the Trinity, and the inspiration of the "Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament;" that the guilt of 'blasphemy' should be visited upon everyone who should speak or act 'in contempt of the religion professed by almost the whole community;' and that everybody should be required by law to observe Sunday? Indeed, what more than this could be required or even desired by the most absolute religious despotism that could be imagined?" (A.T.Jones, Ecclesiastical Empire, pp.837-838) Remember, you can be a "Saturday keeper" and still be worshipping the beast by accepting the mark OR name, OR number of the beast. Because they are disobedient. Jesus says, Not everyone that says to Him Lord, Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of God but he that do the will of His Father who is in Heaven. Matthew 7:21, so don't worry about them. Keep the commandments of God.

Hear is the problem. A Sunday law does not prevent Sabbath anything. Half of the world has Sunday and Saturday off now. Not sure how this is a problem. Many states in the US have blue laws and Sabbath is not an issue. Would be interesting to hear what you see the issues is. If there were a law preventing Sabbath worship we just go underground as they do in many countries today. A different calendar to the Roman calendar we have today. Saturday on the Gregorian calendar IS Saturn's day. Do some research, the bible tells you God's calendar, and google will tell you about the calendars and the Jewish dictionary will also back up the calendar that the true sabbath is found on. Jews were trying to tell the new converts to Christianity what they should and shouldn't do. Paul is telling them not listen to outsiders, only to the Church, and that this judgement they are receiving is only a shadow of persecution to come (the literal translation reads "which is a shadow of things to come". Rev 12:17 shows two conditions of true Christians: they keep the commandments of God (incl. his Sabbath) and accept the testimony of Jesus Christ.

What I find interesting is that most SDA churches are closed and doing online only. Have y’all submitted to the governmental authorities and forsaken the assembly? If there is a Sunday law instituted how will that change anything for SDAs?
Jesus taught the people that they were to comply with all laws of the land unless doing so would cause them to break God’s law. Many SDA’s believe that meeting online virtually or in small groups in believer’s homes does not break God’s law. God did not command for large churches to gather and carry out services exactly the way they do today. His command was that we should not work on the sabbath or pursue pleasure/selfish pursuits. The day was to be about him, community and others. In fact the early churches in the apostles days were much smaller meeting in open natural areas, or in people’s homes. I also know of many SDA churches who did not completely close down their services and they would meet in a parking lot or outside the church and social distance while they sang praise and studied the word of God. I also know that at least in my church all services including sabbath school were hosted online. Personally I watched all the online services and then afterward met in the park with some fellow believers and sang. We believed this helped uplift the spirits of anyone who heard and it certainly did wonders for us too!! ❤️ Blessings, and I hope that this helps.

Since Pope John Paul II (or heaven knows when), we have been accusing (or at least suspicious) of every pope to make the world leaders impose the Sunday Law. Many Adventists lived and died with the hope that this dreadful day would come. Not one ever thought that we could be wrong.
The passage of time should not dictate the veracity of a message. Just like when Noah preached for 120 loooonnnggg years, the people thought he was crazy. Interesting how the Pope uses the ecological/environmental rest God declared for the land to renew itself with the religious/spiritual rest. The Pope is using bad associations with environmental, economical and social aspects of life with the spiritual. "...In this connection let me say, gentlemen, that the District of Columbia has just the same kind of a Sunday law as that of Ohio. This law of the District of Columbia was in force when this book was issued which I hold in my hand, which was April 1, 1868; and I am told that this law (which I will read) was re-enacted in 1874. I now quote from the law. Section 1 provides that- 'If any person shall DENY THE TRINITY, he shall, for the first offense, be bored through the tongue, and fined twenty pounds; ... and for the second offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall be stigmatized by burning on the forehead with the letter B, and fined forty pounds; and for the third offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall suffer death, without the benefit of the clergy.' Search for the word "Trinity" and you will see the references. "Taking this to some lawyers, they told us that the old law we had found was still binding. This is a very strict law, and provides that the offender shall pay a fine of 200 pounds of tobacco. But that which makes this law [Sunday law] appear so strange, is that it is found IN DIRECT CONNECTION with another statute which provides that any one who publicly denies the Trinity as commonly held, shall, for the first offense, have his tongue bored through, and for the third offense, suffer death without the benefit of the clergy. Possibly the reason why the promoters of the present Sunday law ignore the one now on the statutes, is because it is in the company of another law so barbarous in its make-up, thus showing the nature of the company Sunday laws of the past have always kept." The law that anyone who publicly denies the trinity will be persecuted. And we know that according to Rome, Sunday is directly connected to their trinity god ... Their, spiritual ancestors, the Puritans, considered the arrest and punishment of those who rejected this church dogma as something pleasing to the Deity ... The doctrine of the Trinity and the sacredness of Sunday are both orthodox plums of marvelous sweetness to the ministerial too." (Review and Herald, Nov.20, 1894, Vol.71, No.46, p.730 - SOURCE) And what are all the churches uniting on today? THE TRINITY! Take a look at our ECUMENICAL GOD OF ROME page for more information on that. So Rome is uniting all the churches on it's Trinity god ready for the mark to be enforced! Now attached to the Sunday law bill in Ohio, we find the following exemption ... "The proviso of the Sunday law exempts those only who conscientiously observe the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath." (Arguments on the Breckinridge Sunday Bill, [see source above]). So 7th day Sabbath keepers would be exempt. But those who deny the trinity would be punished! Do you see the deception of Rome? Is this going to factor into the coming Sunday law? We will see. Indeed, what more than this could be required or even desired by the most absolute religious despotism that could be imagined?" And I'm not allowed to go on any websites that are religious or Christian or anything. My dad won't let me. To read my bible, I have to make sure no one sees or I'll be in trouble. And when I can read my bible, it's hard for me to bring myself to do it because I don't like reading.. But I want to read my bible more often and grow closer to God. Such a Worldwide Sunday Law would allow Jews, Muslims, and others to pick which day other than Sunday they would like to adopt to keep their car at home to save the environment. Whether the General Conference will stand up for SDA church beliefs about the Sabbath if millions of dollars of federal funding is at stake is another matter.

It’s really quite silly. That’s the main thing they like to harp on. We just need to be ready for anything. We just need to keep the faith and look forward to our crown. That’s it. Why make it more complicated by trying to figure out what’s to come. They do it because their afraid to go through the tribulation. Just give it a break already ! The Pope has not proposed a Sunday Law and there is no strong move for one in the U.S. Your SDA/Ellen White doctrines and prophecies are foolish speculations and you make yourself look more and more foolish by continually trying to shoehorn them into the Pope's document. Every time the Pope has proposed the further honoring of the Sabbath, he has included Saturday for those who recognize the 7th day.

If you show them that the letter kills and the Spirit gives life, they will still insist that the observant keeping of the 7th Day Sabbath is a salvation requirement. I understand in this way in Genesis God created the Sabbath. And it is to be observed forever. The mark of the Christain, is under the water baptism. Even St. Paul was immersed in water, also Christ himself with John the Baptist.
Now I wrote a wee booklet about the sabbath day, the keeping of the sabbath using scripture after much prayer, now like you you so e people disagreed with me, like you, I was told when Jesus went to the cross for you and me, he fulfilled all the laws. I tell you honestly I was worried, had I done the wrong thing writing this wee booklet, so when in distress go to the fountain head, Jesus Himself, I took my plight to Jesus asking him, on bended knees to show me the truth. This is what he showed me.
Jesus showed me three sets of laws. 1st, The most important, the Holy Commandments, written by the very finger of God himself. We will for the moment set these over to the side. Now JESUS showed me the Laws of Moses, Now these laws were devided into two in front of me. We have what I would call here the laws for the people, marriage, compensation laws etc., and the laws of circumsision, laws of the sacrifice. These I will deal with first. When our blessed Lord went to the cross for my sins a nd yours and e ery one who believes in him, He was the true lamb of God, God's sacrificial lamb, who died in our stead, All the sacrificial laws, we're nailed to the cross, the vail of the temple was torn I two from the top to the bottom God and Man were reconciled at the death of the lamb of God .
Now we look at the other laws , the laws of Moses, or the laws for the people, where they nailed to the cross, no they were not, why,? Because the people still needed laws by which to live by.
We now come to the most important, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. WE'RE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS NAILED TO THE CROSS .? No. The ten comma dents are to stand eternally, for all ways, they were instigated from the very beginning Genesis Ch.2 V. 2 and 3. Almighty God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, a d made it a rest day for all men, not only Jews. In Genesis there were no Jewish Nation, so the true 7th day Saturday sabbath has to be for all men.

THE SUNDAY REST BILL AND THE TRINITY
"It will also be noticed that this 'league' [The International Sunday Observance League] has other plans besides the intention to prosecute those who will not bow to their man-made Sabbath. Perhaps they will prosecute those who do not believe in the Trinity." (Review and Herald, Nov.20, 1894, Vol.71, No.46, p.730 - SOURCE)
We all know that Sunday laws are on the statute books of America, and many Seventh-day Adventists are waiting for the Sunday law to be enforced in fulfillment of the mark of the beast in Revelation 13. But what the majority of Seventh-day Adventists don't realize, is that attached to the Sunday law bills was another 'religious' law concerning the Trinity. Take a look at the following concerning the Breckinridge Bill, of which A.T.Jones and other Adventist leaders spoke against:
"Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That it shall be unlawful for any person or corporation, or employe of any person or corporation in the District of Columbia, to perform any secular labor or business, or to cause the same to be performed by any person in their employment on Sunday, except works of necessity or mercy; nor shall it be lawful for any person or corporation to receive pay for labor or services performed or rendered in violation of this act ...."
"...In this connection let me say, gentlemen, that the District of Columbia has just the same kind of a Sunday law as that of Ohio. This law of the District of Columbia was in force when this book was issued which I hold in my hand, which was April 1, 1868; and I am told that this law (which I will read) was re-enacted in 1874. I now quote from the law. Section 1 provides that- 'If any person shall DENY THE TRINITY, he shall, for the first offense, be bored through the tongue, and fined twenty pounds; ... and for the second offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall be stigmatized by burning on the forehead with the letter B, and fined forty pounds; and for the third offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall suffer death, without the benefit of the clergy.' Section l0 of the same law has this:- 'No person whatever shall do any bodily labor on the Lord's day, commonly called Sunday ... Now, gentlemen, that law has never been repealed." (Arguments on the Breckinridge Sunday Bill - source)
You can also see the above confirmed in the book "American State Papers Bearing on Sunday Legislation" from 1911 - You can download the book HERE. Search for the word "Trinity" and you will see the references.
"Taking this to some lawyers, they told us that the old law we had found was still binding. This is a very strict law, and provides that the offender shall pay a fine of 200 pounds of tobacco. But that which makes this law [Sunday law] appear so strange, is that it is found IN DIRECT CONNECTION with another statute which provides that any one who publicly denies the Trinity as commonly held, shall, for the first offense, have his tongue bored through, and for the third offense, suffer death without the benefit of the clergy. Possibly the reason why the promoters of the present Sunday law ignore the one now on the statutes, is because it is in the company of another law so barbarous in its make-up, thus showing the nature of the company Sunday laws of the past have always kept." (Review and Herald, Jan.21, 1890, Vol.67, No.3, p.44 - SOURCE)
"There is now, on the statute-books of this District, an old Maryland law which has never been repealed, under which a person convicted of denying the Trinity, received the mark 'B' in his forehead [reading statute of date Oct. 26, 1723]." (Review and Herald, Feb.4, 1890, Vol.67, No.5, p.74 - SOURCE)
So what law on the statute books is in 'direct connection' to the Sunday rest bill? The law that anyone who publicly denies the trinity will be persecuted. And we know that according to Rome, Sunday is directly connected to their trinity god ... "every Sunday is devoted to the honor of the Most Holy Trinity, that every Sunday is sanctified and consecrated to the triune God." (source) ... "Question 1092. What is Sunday, or the Lord's Day in general? A. It is a day dedicated by the Apostles to the honour of the most holy Trinity." (The Douay Catechism of 1649)

And what are all the churches uniting on today? THE TRINITY! Take a look at our ECUMENICAL GOD OF ROME page for more information on that. So Rome is uniting all the churches on it's Trinity god ready for the mark to be enforced!
Now attached to the Sunday law bill in Ohio, we find the following exemption ... "The proviso of the Sunday law exempts those only who conscientiously observe the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath." (Arguments on the Breckinridge Sunday Bill, [see source above]). So 7th day Sabbath keepers would be exempt. But those who deny the trinity would be punished! Do you see the deception of Rome? Is this going to factor into the coming Sunday law? We will see. But the fact shows that this is not just about the Sunday law, as the trinity god of Rome is closely connected to it.
"Now what more was ever required by the papacy, and all phases of the old order of things, than is thus brought within the meaning of the national Constitution by this decision? What more was ever required by the papacy itself than that "the Christian religion" should be the national religion; that the discipline of the Church should be maintained by the civil power; that the religious test oath should be applied to all; that the public should be taxed for the support of religion and religious worship; that there should be required a belief in the doctrine of the Trinity, and the inspiration of the "Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament;" that the guilt of 'blasphemy' should be visited upon everyone who should speak or act 'in contempt of the religion professed by almost the whole community;' and that everybody should be required by law to observe Sunday? Indeed, what more than this could be required or even desired by the most absolute religious despotism that could be imagined?" (A.T.Jones, Ecclesiastical Empire, pp.837-838)

Hear is the problem. A Sunday law does not prevent Sabbath anything. Half of the world has Sunday and Saturday off now. Not sure how this is a problem. Jews were trying to tell the new converts to Christianity what they should and shouldn't do. What I find interesting is that most SDA churches are closed and doing online only. Have y’all submitted to the governmental authorities and forsaken the assembly? If there is a Sunday law instituted how will that change anything for SDAs?
Jesus taught the people that they were to comply with all laws of the land unless doing so would cause them to break God’s law.
Many SDA’s believe that meeting online virtually or in small groups in believer’s homes does not break God’s law. God did not command for large churches to gather and carry out services exactly the way they do today. His command was that we should not work on the sabbath or pursue pleasure/selfish pursuits. The day was to be about him, community and others.
In fact the early churches in the apostles days were much smaller meeting in open natural areas, or in people’s homes.
I also know of many SDA churches who did not completely close down their services and they would meet in a parking lot or outside the church and social distance while they sang praise and studied the word of God.
I also know that at least in my church all services including sabbath school were hosted online.
Personally I watched all the online services and then afterward met in the park with some fellow believers and sang. We believed this helped uplift the spirits of anyone who heard and it certainly did wonders for us too!! ❤️

Since Pope John Paul II (or heaven knows when), we have been accusing (or at least suspicious) of every pope to make the world leaders impose the Sunday Law. Many Adventists lived and died with the hope that this dreadful day would come. Not one ever thought that we could be wrong.

The passage of time should not dictate the veracity of a message. Just like when Noah preached for 120 loooonnnggg years, the people thought he was crazy. Many left from following the message because so many years passed. We have to keep our eyes on God. If the Bible supports the message, then we should too-whether we, or our grandchildren, or great great great grandchildren are the ones that finally see it come to fruition.

Interesting how the Pope uses the ecological/environmental rest God declared for the land to renew itself with the religious/spiritual rest. THE SUNDAY REST BILL AND THE TRINITY
"It will also be noticed that this 'league' [The International Sunday Observance League] has other plans besides the intention to prosecute those who will not bow to their man-made Sabbath. Perhaps they will prosecute those who do not believe in the Trinity." (Review and Herald, Nov.20, 1894, Vol.71, No.46, p.730 - SOURCE)
We all know that Sunday laws are on the statute books of America, and many Seventh-day Adventists are waiting for the Sunday law to be enforced in fulfillment of the mark of the beast in Revelation 13. But what the majority of Seventh-day Adventists don't realize, is that attached to the Sunday law bills was another 'religious' law concerning the Trinity. Take a look at the following concerning the Breckinridge Bill, of which A.T.Jones and other Adventist leaders spoke against:
"Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That it shall be unlawful for any person or corporation, or employe of any person or corporation in the District of Columbia, to perform any secular labor or business, or to cause the same to be performed by any person in their employment on Sunday, except works of necessity or mercy; nor shall it be lawful for any person or corporation to receive pay for labor or services performed or rendered in violation of this act ...."
"...In this connection let me say, gentlemen, that the District of Columbia has just the same kind of a Sunday law as that of Ohio. This law of the District of Columbia was in force when this book was issued which I hold in my hand, which was April 1, 1868; and I am told that this law (which I will read) was re-enacted in 1874. I now quote from the law. Section 1 provides that- 'If any person shall DENY THE TRINITY, he shall, for the first offense, be bored through the tongue, and fined twenty pounds; ... and for the second offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall be stigmatized by burning on the forehead with the letter B, and fined forty pounds; and for the third offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall suffer death, without the benefit of the clergy.' Section l0 of the same law has this:- 'No person whatever shall do any bodily labor on the Lord's day, commonly called Sunday ... Now, gentlemen, that law has never been repealed." You can also see the above confirmed in the book "American State Papers Bearing on Sunday Legislation" from 1911 - You can download the book HERE. Search for the word "Trinity" and you will see the references.
"Taking this to some lawyers, they told us that the old law we had found was still binding. This is a very strict law, and provides that the offender shall pay a fine of 200 pounds of tobacco. But that which makes this law [Sunday law] appear so strange, is that it is found IN DIRECT CONNECTION with another statute which provides that any one who publicly denies the Trinity as commonly held, shall, for the first offense, have his tongue bored through, and for the third offense, suffer death without the benefit of the clergy. Possibly the reason why the promoters of the present Sunday law ignore the one now on the statutes, is because it is in the company of another law so barbarous in its make-up, thus showing the nature of the company Sunday laws of the past have always kept." (Review and Herald, Jan.21, 1890, Vol.67, No.3, p.44 - SOURCE)
"There is now, on the statute-books of this District, an old Maryland law which has never been repealed, under which a person convicted of denying the Trinity, received the mark 'B' in his forehead [reading statute of date Oct. 26, 1723]." (Review and Herald, Feb.4, 1890, Vol.67, No.5, p.74 - SOURCE)
So what law on the statute books is in 'direct connection' to the Sunday rest bill? The law that anyone who publicly denies the trinity will be persecuted. And we know that according to Rome, Sunday is directly connected to their trinity god ... "every Sunday is devoted to the honor of the Most Holy Trinity, that every Sunday is sanctified and consecrated to the triune God." (source) ... "Question 1092. What is Sunday, or the Lord's Day in general? A. It is a day dedicated by the Apostles to the honour of the most holy Trinity." (The Douay Catechism of 1649)

And what are all the churches uniting on today? THE TRINITY! Take a look at our ECUMENICAL GOD OF ROME page for more information on that. So Rome is uniting all the churches on it's Trinity god ready for the mark to be enforced!
Now attached to the Sunday law bill in Ohio, we find the following exemption ... "The proviso of the Sunday law exempts those only who conscientiously observe the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath." (Arguments on the Breckinridge Sunday Bill, [see source above]). So 7th day Sabbath keepers would be exempt. But those who deny the trinity would be punished! Do you see the deception of Rome? Is this going to factor into the coming Sunday law? We will see. But the fact shows that this is not just about the Sunday law, as the trinity god of Rome is closely connected to it.
"Now what more was ever required by the papacy, and all phases of the old order of things, than is thus brought within the meaning of the national Constitution by this decision? What more was ever required by the papacy itself than that "the Christian religion" should be the national religion; that the discipline of the Church should be maintained by the civil power; that the religious test oath should be applied to all; that the public should be taxed for the support of religion and religious worship; that there should be required a belief in the doctrine of the Trinity, and the inspiration of the "Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament;" that the guilt of 'blasphemy' should be visited upon everyone who should speak or act 'in contempt of the religion professed by almost the whole community;' and that everybody should be required by law to observe Sunday? Indeed, what more than this could be required or even desired by the most absolute religious despotism that could be imagined?" (A.T.Jones, Ecclesiastical Empire, pp.837-838)

Ronbo Nick, if they took your suggestion, people would think Adventists are crazy. No one cares if you want to go to church on Saturday. Adventists make up less than 1% Christianity world wide. My dad wants me to be catholic and my sister won't let me talk about what I believe in cuz I get scared sometimes. They won't let me read my bible. And I'm not allowed to go on any websites that are religious or Christian or anything. My dad won't let me. To read my bible, I have to make sure no one sees or I'll be in trouble. And when I can read my bible, it's hard for me to bring myself to do it because I don't like reading.. But I want to read my bible more often and grow closer to God. I would just go on the religious videos and websites to help me, but I don't wanna disobey my dad because God said to obey our parents, and I don't wanna sin.. I'm scared

The possibility of our country (let alone the entire world) of ever enforcing such a law would be politically, economically, and socially impossible.
Consider this, would Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists, Jews, Jainists and all the many other world religions, would theses other religions ever submit to go along with a supposed Sunday Law forcing them to worship the God of Christianity? And given that the world is becoming increasingly less religious, would any secularist, humanist, communist, agnostic or atheist, would they suddenly think it would be a good idea to force people to worship a God, a God that they don't believe in at all?
The Sunday law is a conspiracy theory that serves the Seventh-day Adventist institution, first as a recruitment tool, and as a means to retain members who never seriously question the reality of such a law.

Such a Worldwide Sunday Law would allow Jews, Muslims, and others to pick which day other than Sunday they would like to adopt to keep their car at home to save the environment. What does a Sunday law have to do with anything? Most people don't work on the weekends anyway.
It’s really quite silly. That’s the main thing they like to harp on. We just need to be ready for anything. We just need to keep the faith and look forward to our crown. That’s it. Why make it more complicated by trying to figure out what’s to come.
They do it because their afraid to go through the tribulation. That’s why they like to harp on the rapture which no one really understands.

Every time the Pope has proposed the further honoring of the Sabbath, he has included Saturday for those who recognize the 7th day.
