My Dad was an old-fashioned Preacher, as folks would say today, but he believed as you have taught about the tribulation. He taught us to always read the Bible for ourselves and ask God for understanding and never take anyone's word if the Bible does not back it up. I sure miss him and Mom. I am blessed. I was raised in a Christian home.
Yes. We cristians should allow the Bible give us the answers...and when we can't fully understand something we should continue praying for wisdom, and GOD will give us that wisdom... I believe that we are going through the great Tribulacao.. because God wants to show us his mighty power to us for salvation and after we see that salvation we the tribulation survivers have one more reason to glorify him many times..

I grew up Pentecostal but my dad would tell them all that Christians will go through the tribulations. They fought him on it and he knew the Sabbath was Saturday and Constantine changed it. He read his bible. It wasnt hard for .e to accept the SDA Message and i am now a seventh day Adventist and was baptized in the SDA church praise God!!

People argue forever about the rapture, the tribulation, the Beast, the anti-Christ and 666. ~1 Corinthians 2:2 "For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." ~ John 3:16 "For God so loved the world . . . " What else is there? Whatever comes - rapture, tribulation, the beast, a fiery furnace or a den full of hungry lions - I find my rest in the absolute love of my God. He says "FEAR NOT!" Revelation 13: 7 says, "It was also given to him (Anti-Christ / Satan) to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him." This occurs in the middle of the 7 year period, the last week that the prophet Daniel wrote about. If all the Christians are raptured before the last week begins who is there to fight against the Anti-Christ? The Christians will stand up against the anti-christ, but we will be defeated and beheaded. That is a fate that none of us would voluntarily signup for, but when the time comes stand strong for you know the hour of redemption is upon you! Jesus is the Christ. Yeah, the churches like the 7th Day Adventist, the Baptists, the Roman Catholics, etc will be here during the great tribulation. Only the true born-again Christians will be raptured but not secretly, openly for all to see. That rapture event will trigger great revival in all churches that will become the tribulation saints, the very reason why Jesus wept in John 11:35. The John 3:5 is clear, there are 2 requirements to enter God's Kingdom: 1) born of water (blood washed) and 2)born of the spirit (Holy Spirit filled like that of Pentecost), these 2 are not happening in many churches.

There will be three harvests, Barley or first of the first fruits harvest- wave-sheaf offering, loaves 144,000 and grapes or Feast of Tabernacles. The rapture will be at the end of the Tribulation. The first harvest is the escape and belongs to the Bride Company, Luke 21:36, Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
Yes but the Word of God does not say we won't face the tribulation period. It only promises we won't face God's wrath, which by Revelation 15-16 is after the tribulation...... Revelation 14 (parallel to Matthew 24:29-31) is the rapture...Harvest
Kenneth Cadwell We will all be tested during the Great Tribulation. Loyalty to Jesus vs loyalty to Satan/antichrist/Beast. Revelation says the Mark of the Beast is about worship. Loyalty to Jesus true Sabbath (Saturday ) vs the counterfeit sabbath (SUNday). The Roman Catholic papacy changed Jesus Ssbbath in 321a.d. to SUNday by Emperor Constantine, he was at the time a SUN worshipper, and wanted to bring in many of his SUN worshipper friends, he had to make conscessions one was SUNday and the other was bringing in their idols. So they came into the Church, the idols we're given Christian names, so in their catechisims and Catholic, Bibles deleted the second commandment about idols, divided the 10th commandment into two to make ten, moved the fourth commandment to the third, and rewrote it entirely. They take credit for the change to Sunday, and call it a Mark of their authority. The Bible predicted that would happen. They shall think to change times and laws. No one can change God’s laws The papacy according to the descriptions in Daniel and Revelation is the Beast/Antichrist. During The Great Tribulation we all have a choice to make choose God's true Sabbath or the counterfeit SUNday, SUNday being the Mark of the Beast. We will have to as the Bible says, choose you this day, whom you will serve. Those that choose Saturday, won't be able to buy or sell, as the Bible says, and will have to flee to avoid persecution or death. Kenneth Cadwell the reason I brought up the Roman Catholic papacy, prophecy described the beast/antichrist as the papacy, it is important to know that, and important to know the history of the very early Church and what they did against God. If people go to church on Sunday they are paying homage to the RCC and all the other things they changed which are Antichrist. I don't believe you read my last messages in there entirety, because I wrote things in there that would have answered questions you are asking me now.
Brother Doug, this is the first time I have seen any of your videos. I'll be looking for more. I use to believe the rapture would happen before the great tribulation - that's what I was taught growing up. But as an adult I started thinking about it and realized that if true, Jesus would be coming back and we would meet Him in the air and it would all happen BEFORE the Second Coming of Jesus Christ!! I told my father I no longer believed the rapture would take place before, but I really hoped I was wrong. He threw a fit because I was questioning the teachings he had been taught all his life and he'd taught to his children. So I didn't say anything else to him; I didn't like that he was so hurt that I questioned his teachings - he was an Assembly of God pastor. After he passed (behind the pulpit right after preaching his Sunday morning sermon, the way he always said he wanted to go!), my mother remarried 2 years later and I expressed my opinion on the rapture to them, and they were shocked at me. I explained my reasoning about it and asked them to explain how Jesus didn't mention His coming Before His actual 2nd Coming. Of course, they couldn't explain it, and they still looked thoughtful when I left their house. Neither of us brought the subject up again. Of course, it would be fine with me if I was wrong and there is a rapture Before the great tribulations. But I pray to God that regardless of what actually happens I will be ready!! And so will my family. One sister and spouse is not, my brother and spouse is not. Neither are their kids. We don't have kids, but my husband is not either. And the way our churches shut down during the so-called pandemic in 2020, he has told me to never ask him to go to church with me again as he will Never step foot in one. He didn't anyway except for funerals and weddings, but I was wearing him down to the point where he didn't say No immediately anymore. I know you can be saved in your home , or really, anywhere. But loved ones don't always listen to you that often, and what the preacher says, or even sometimes a song being sung, or a testimony given, will get a person to go to the altar, as you well know being a preacher. He is actually the one who got me to questioning the rapture theory. He believes more like I do now and has for more than 15 years, but I could never get him to commit to going to church with me, or to being born-again (he was raised Southern Baptist, once saved always saved, and forced to go to church as a young person, and knew most of the church people, and also knew a lot of them simply acted all Christian at church, but many of them had been out drinking and cheating on their spouses the night before! He was a product of a military family, and saw a lot of those same people on base every day!). He didn't start changing his mind about it until after I got saved after we'd been married for 13 years - I was going to my father's church at the time, as we were all living close enough for me to do so for the time time since we got married (I hadn't been to church myself in 12 years before we moved close enough for me to do so, as I had always gone to my dad's church when I did go). Would you please just say a prayer for us when you think about it. You can always do like I do. I ask God to take care of everyone who has asked me for prayers, or just simply asked for prayers on the internet. God knows who they are and what the need is and I can't always remember names, or what's wrong, so that's the way I do it. Except, I always say a prayer right then, when I first read about, or hear about, the prayer request. I'm nearly 70 years old and we've been married for 36 years; being so old my memory isn't so good anymore. But God knows what's going on! Thank you Brother Doug for this video. I also began watching Amazing Facts Presents,during the earlier 2000s. I am not a SDA either. However I admire some of his teachings,especially this teaching on the tribulation. That message were one of the reasons that I began watching & listening to him teach. Also,you could hear him clearly & calmly. Without all of that yelling and trying to get the people to shout,from some of those Preachers.🤦🏾♀️

pashasobee the ark is Christ and those in Him have passed from death to Life. It’s not one denomination. Christ is not limited to man made ideals or boxes created by human hands/minds.

Isa 11:12, Rev 7:1 and Rev 20:8.- Tell me where Gods word says "calls the ELECT from the 4 corners of the Earth! and it worries me that Pastor does give the exact verse he is reciting.. .There will be a rapture.. Rev 3: 10 and IT wont be secret.. You will know if you standing next to someone or your child and you left standing alone.. So no it is NOT secret. Carlene Smith how can it be false, when he gives texts for everything he says. So many pastors are teaching false teachings, Pastor Batchelor is not, I know Daniel and Revelation very well myself, and he is correct. Open your mind and let God speak to you, study the Bible for yourself

Dear Pastor Could you please clarify the below questions 1) Isaiah 26:21 Some preachers uses these verse and says church will not be here once the tribulations are started 2) What is mean that Christ will come as Thief, why because Jesus said he will be coming as Thief. So some preachers are using this verse to say that we will be not here in tribulations. 3) 2 Thes 2 : 5-8 Some preachers uses these verse to claim that when the Holy Spirit got removed from our mids, then church will not be able to survive with the Holy spirit so surely church will not be here in tribulations Could you please clarify these queries. This verses in 2 Thessalonians 2:5-10 this is talking about the wicked at the second coming. The righteous have been raised, the 144,000 living saints are caught up in the air to meet Jesus. The wicked living are killed with the Brightness of Jesus coming. This is after the tribulation and the seven last plagues. Nothing to do with pre-trib rapture In Isaiah, you should read the whole chapter to get the context. You are reading again about the wicked. They are dead and shall not live, they are deceased. they shall not rise. All there memory has perished. Then it says the Lord comes out to punish them for their sins. The wicked are destroyed. Nothing about a rapture. One thing I want to say to you. There are a lot of falsehoods coming from preachers on just about most subjects, they know very little about prophecy.
When the Bible says he will come as a thief in the night. Thief's don't announce when they are coming, they catch you by surprise. People are not paying attention to the signs of His coming, they are like sleeping as to what is going on, and when He comes they won't be ready, because he took them by surprise, and we're not ready for him to come. The other text in Luke where one will be taken and the other left, and two women grinding one taken the other left. This is similar to the other text. At the second coming, one will be saved one won't be ready and will be lost. If you look at the top of the page it says second coming, not a rapture. That word is not in the Bible Also if you look a the parable of the bridegroom(Jesus), the 10 virgins, 5 brought plenty of oil , 5 didn’t bring enough. The wise ones were ready to meet Jesus, the others were not. When the Bible talks about virgins, it is talking about a church, a church that is not corrupt, and doesn’t teach false doctrines. You will see that word also in Revelation 7 talking about the 144,000 were virgins. A Virgin is a woman, in prophecy woman stands for the church, undefiled church that does not teach falsehoods as compared to the harlot that is a church that is corrupt and teaches falsehoods

I am afraid that the people that are preaching this is going to cause the falling away that is talked about in the Bible. People are going to give up on Jesus Christ coming because He doesn’t come when they were told. People please read your Bible for yourself. Don’t just go by what someone else tells you. I don’t know if you remembered the Ethiopian story, he reads from the book of Isaiah n Philip asked him do you understand what you are reading? He said no n what Philip do ? He helped him understand what the word of God said. So if we want to understand God’s words sometime we need other help accordingly to the Bible truth.

You don't find any church language in Matthew 24. Who was Jesus speaking to? Remember in Romans 15:8 Paul writes 8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: Not to the Gentile church!

Such a message that is easily overlooked. The pre-trib/mid-trib rapture is dangerous in that it sounds far more appealing than having to go until the very end under tribulation. We need to ask for God's will in our lives, and act on that basis in the Holy Spirit. May the Lord bless each of you this Sabbath. God bless :)
A-Aron you are right, so many people say all you have to do is believe. They don't think you have to do anything, despite all the texts to the contrary.
Maybe he's right and maybe he's wrong! I have my opinion on what the Bible says. But the thing to remember is none of us are guaranteed we will be here tomorrow. Make sure you know where you stand with the Lord and keep your robe white because that's what he is coming for. God bless to all.
I have watched you over the years , This has to be your best teaching on the saints and the tribulation. I have found no one on the internet that is preaching this TRUTH and Doctrine but you. @@theway-of7vr Yes you right.. the biblical word is found in Paul the Apostle's First Epistle to the Thessalonians in the Bible, he uses the Greek word harpazo (Ancient Greek: ἁρπάζω), meaning "to snatch away" or "to seize," and explains that believers in Jesus Christ will be snatched away from earth into the air. I am not entirely sure why we use "Rapture" - it is just something I understand, but in future I will use the correct term.. "to be snatched away".

My Dad was an old-fashioned Preacher, as folks would say today, but he believed as you have taught about the tribulation. He taught us to always read the Bible for ourselves and ask God for understanding and never take anyone's word if the Bible does not back it up. I sure miss him and Mom. I am blessed. Revelation 13: 7 says, "It was also given to him (Anti-Christ / Satan) to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him." This occurs in the middle of the 7 year period, the last week that the prophet Daniel wrote about. If all the Christians are raptured before the last week begins who is there to fight against the Anti-Christ? The Christians will stand up against the anti-christ, but we will be defeated and beheaded. That is a fate that none of us would voluntarily signup for, but when the time comes stand strong for you know the hour of redemption is upon you! Jesus is the Christ. The messiah will not break his promises to you. Find your strength now. Prepare your minds and hearts for the Lord now. Do not put it off.
Yeah, the churches like the 7th Day Adventist, the Baptists, the Roman Catholics, etc will be here during the great tribulation. Only the true born-again Christians will be raptured but not secretly, openly for all to see. That rapture event will trigger great revival in all churches that will become the tribulation saints, the very reason why Jesus wept in John 11:35. The John 3:5 is clear, there are 2 requirements to enter God's Kingdom: 1) born of water (blood washed) and 2)born of the spirit (Holy Spirit filled like that of Pentecost), these 2 are not happening in many churches.

The papacy according to the descriptions in Daniel and Revelation is the Beast/Antichrist. Kenneth Cadwell the reason I brought up the Roman Catholic papacy, prophecy described the beast/antichrist as the papacy, it is important to know that, and important to know the history of the very early Church and what they did against God. If people go to church on Sunday they are paying homage to the RCC and all the other things they changed which are Antichrist. I don't believe you read my last messages in there entirety, because I wrote things in there that would have answered questions you are asking me now.
Brother Doug, this is the first time I have seen any of your videos. I'll be looking for more. I use to believe the rapture would happen before the great tribulation - that's what I was taught growing up. But as an adult I started thinking about it and realized that if true, Jesus would be coming back and we would meet Him in the air and it would all happen BEFORE the Second Coming of Jesus Christ!! I told my father I no longer believed the rapture would take place before, but I really hoped I was wrong. He threw a fit because I was questioning the teachings he had been taught all his life and he'd taught to his children. So I didn't say anything else to him; I didn't like that he was so hurt that I questioned his teachings - he was an Assembly of God pastor. After he passed (behind the pulpit right after preaching his Sunday morning sermon, the way he always said he wanted to go!), my mother remarried 2 years later and I expressed my opinion on the rapture to them, and they were shocked at me. I explained my reasoning about it and asked them to explain how Jesus didn't mention His coming Before His actual 2nd Coming. Of course, they couldn't explain it, and they still looked thoughtful when I left their house. Neither of us brought the subject up again. Of course, it would be fine with me if I was wrong and there is a rapture Before the great tribulations. But I pray to God that regardless of what actually happens I will be ready!! And so will my family. One sister and spouse is not, my brother and spouse is not. Neither are their kids. We don't have kids, but my husband is not either. And the way our churches shut down during the so-called pandemic in 2020, he has told me to never ask him to go to church with me again as he will Never step foot in one. He didn't anyway except for funerals and weddings, but I was wearing him down to the point where he didn't say No immediately anymore. I know you can be saved in your home , or really, anywhere. But loved ones don't always listen to you that often, and what the preacher says, or even sometimes a song being sung, or a testimony given, will get a person to go to the altar, as you well know being a preacher. He is actually the one who got me to questioning the rapture theory. He believes more like I do now and has for more than 15 years, but I could never get him to commit to going to church with me, or to being born-again (he was raised Southern Baptist, once saved always saved, and forced to go to church as a young person, and knew most of the church people, and also knew a lot of them simply acted all Christian at church, but many of them had been out drinking and cheating on their spouses the night before! He was a product of a military family, and saw a lot of those same people on base every day!). He didn't start changing his mind about it until after I got saved after we'd been married for 13 years - I was going to my father's church at the time, as we were all living close enough for me to do so for the time time since we got married (I hadn't been to church myself in 12 years before we moved close enough for me to do so, as I had always gone to my dad's church when I did go). Would you please just say a prayer for us when you think about it. You can always do like I do. I ask God to take care of everyone who has asked me for prayers, or just simply asked for prayers on the internet. God knows who they are and what the need is and I can't always remember names, or what's wrong, so that's the way I do it. Except, I always say a prayer right then, when I first read about, or hear about, the prayer request. I'm nearly 70 years old and we've been married for 36 years; being so old my memory isn't so good anymore. But God knows what's going on! Thank you Brother Doug for this video. Even though I’m not a SDA I’ve always loved your teachings. When I was first saved I’d wake up really early to watch Amazing Facts Presents.
I also began watching Amazing Facts Presents,during the earlier 2000s. I am not a SDA either. However I admire some of his teachings,especially this teaching on the tribulation. That message were one of the reasons that I began watching & listening to him teach. Also,you could hear him clearly & calmly. Without all of that yelling and trying to get the people to shout,from some of those Preachers.🤦🏾♀️

1) Isaiah 26:21 Some preachers uses these verse and says church will not be here once the tribulations are started
2) What is mean that Christ will come as Thief, why because Jesus said he will be coming as Thief. So some preachers are using this verse to say that we will be not here in tribulations.
3) 2 Thes 2 : 5-8 Some preachers uses these verse to claim that when the Holy Spirit got removed from our mids, then church will not be able to survive with the Holy spirit so surely church will not be here in tribulations

This verses in 2 Thessalonians 2:5-10 this is talking about the wicked at the second coming. The righteous have been raised, the 144,000 living saints are caught up in the air to meet Jesus. The wicked living are killed with the Brightness of Jesus coming. This is after the tribulation and the seven last plagues. Nothing to do with pre-trib rapture
In Isaiah, you should read the whole chapter to get the context. You are reading again about the wicked. They are dead and shall not live, they are deceased. they shall not rise. All there memory has perished. Then it says the Lord comes out to punish them for their sins. The wicked are destroyed. Nothing about a rapture.
One thing I want to say to you. There are a lot of falsehoods coming from preachers on just about most subjects, they know very little about prophecy.
When the Bible says he will come as a thief in the night. Thief's don't announce when they are coming, they catch you by surprise. People are not paying attention to the signs of His coming, they are like sleeping as to what is going on, and when He comes they won't be ready, because he took them by surprise, and we're not ready for him to come. The other text in Luke where one will be taken and the other left, and two women grinding one taken the other left.
This is similar to the other text. At the second coming, one will be saved one won't be ready and will be lost. If you look at the top of the page it says second coming, not a rapture. That word is not in the Bible
Also if you look a the parable of the bridegroom(Jesus), the 10 virgins, 5 brought plenty of oil , 5 didn’t bring enough. The wise ones were ready to meet Jesus, the others were not. When the Bible talks about virgins, it is talking about a church, a church that is not corrupt, and doesn’t teach false doctrines. You will see that word also in Revelation 7 talking about the 144,000 were virgins. A Virgin is a woman, in prophecy woman stands for the church, undefiled church that does not teach falsehoods as compared to the harlot that is a church that is corrupt and teaches falsehoods

Such a message that is easily overlooked. The pre-trib/mid-trib rapture is dangerous in that it sounds far more appealing than having to go until the very end under tribulation. @@theway-of7vr Yes you right.. the biblical word is found in Paul the Apostle's First Epistle to the Thessalonians in the Bible, he uses the Greek word harpazo (Ancient Greek: ἁρπάζω), meaning "to snatch away" or "to seize," and explains that believers in Jesus Christ will be snatched away from earth into the air.
I am not entirely sure why we use "Rapture" - it is just something I understand, but in future I will use the correct term.. "to be snatched away".
