There is a difference between "Gotcha" Legalism & keeping the Commandments..are they really that hard to keep?...Loving the Lord 1st makes it easy,..if you love someone, doing things (like the Commandments) is joy & happiness... not a burden---I used to be stressed about how to keep the Sabbath, then I realized that if I was stressed & fearful, then I was going the wrong way (His yoke is easy)...if you commit to being honest..it becomes easier-no stress because you know there is no "shame in your game"...I love to praise the Lord-you can't be angry ,fearful, or depressed & praise the Lord @ the same time..a" sure cure" for anything!!! The Church of God - seventh day adventist
Keeps all of the commandments
Tell the truth rather for their own comfort but to obey God himself and follow everything he says
For the people that follow and be a servant to God is the church of God
You put everything below God
Your own feeling
Your own preferences
Your own family
God knows what's best for you and its your choice to believe
God is your family
God is your preference
And you care about how God feels what you are doing
For God doesn't forsake us but bless us the one that blessed us and created us will never condemn us

My children, when you quiet your minds and humble yourself quietly before Me that is when I speak to you. You must concentrate and focus on Me with all of your strength and worship. You must be desperate for Me so that nothing else around you matters. You must have faith that when you come to Me in this way I am delighted and I sing songs of joy over you!
Many of you do not do this consistently and that is why you have problems hearing My voice. My children, I want to be intimate with you daily and then I want to converse with you throughout the entire day. This is what it means in My word when it says to “Pray without ceasing”. Many of you don’t understand and think that it is next to impossible but it isn’t. I don’t call you to anything that is burdensome or “hard”, that is religion. The things that man-made religion asks of you, are impossible because it is of the flesh. The enemy loves this because most give up even seeking Me. I ask you to enter into the Spirit and it is not by human effort that you do this, it is only by 100% total surrender, which lacks any deed or work that you do. Lay everything that you are and all of your cares and burdens at my feet and then sit at My feet and talk to Me.
Does that sound difficult? If it does, you are not giving everything up before Me. What most of you have not been told is that your burdens are sins. This is because the man-made and demonicaly run church of this day says it’s acceptable for you to stay in your sin. This could not be further from the truth! I did not willingly die and give of My own blood upon a hideous torture device, the cross, for you to stay bound up and defeated by your sin! I came to destroy the works of the devil and sin is what causes every evil thing in your life and in your world. There is no sin in heaven and thus there is no sickness, suffering or lack of any good and perfect thing. This cannot be fully realized on your earth because sin abounds on it now like never before but it can be realized in the lives of My children who are practicing righteousness and whose hearts are desiring the fulness of My Spirit within them. He who sins as a completely normal act, without a second thought, constantly and without repentance is of his father the devil. He who has been born of My Spirit, that sins by mistake and is repentant and hates the sin he has committed, will be forgiven if he asks because I am his advocate with the Father. Do not ever stop repenting of your sins children or you will be overcome and given over to them and to the enemy. Even then it is to bring you back to repentance! I desire none of you to be lost, so call upon My Spirit to reveal to you what you must lay down before Me. I will consume the sacrifice and the fire shall burn hot and it shall be gone in your life.
My children, acknowledge that My presence is always with you and put down all forms of sin. I surround you with My presence constantly but you don’t realize I am right there with you. It is when you perceive the revelation that I AM there with you at all times and have faith that I always do what I say I will do, that My miracles will occur. My Spirit never leaves you unless you don’t want Me with you because of your sin. When you begin to know this in you heart and truly believe, you will walk in My glory in greater and greater manifestation. You will go from glory to glory for My glory not your own. I long for you to walk in My presence and power, for by this you shall overcome this world of sin, evil and darkness.
That which is coming upon this earth will be impossible to overcome in the flesh so enter into My Spirit today and I will strengthen you.
Sing this to Me as David did:
“I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised;

And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me;
The snares of death confronted me.

I have been out of the church for many years but always carried the Lord with me in my heart trying to teach my children and grandchildren about God and all of his glory. I can really relate to your talks and understand so well when you talk.

Praise you Lord Jesus! thank you holy spirit for opening my eyes. I finally can see that the sabbath, day of rest, is still a commandment. It's taken years for me to see. I've searched and struggled since my childhood up bringing about the sabbath and could not get past it. But praise God he helped me to see. I came upon a verse that set me free. Isaiah 66:22-24. Dear Brother Doug, To me the one and only thing any human being can do to enter the Kingdom of God is found in Romans 12:1-3 and note vs 3 where it say's think soberly according as God has dealt to every man THE measure of FAITH, not a measure because of self works. The big QUESTION IS THIS ? WHO'S FAITH have we received in that measure, Is it my faith in Jesus or is it JESUS'S FAITH living and abiding IN ME. The only faith man's EGO =I has is faith in himself to bring salvation to his soul. Until a person humbles them self and then presents there complete spirit, soul and body Daily as a living sacrifice even as Christ Jesus did they are in very big trouble. That is what it means to follow in Jesus's footsteps by walking by his Spirit every day in every way. The King James version is the only one that correctly translates these verses by saying THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD. not my faith in him. Romans 3:22 & Galatians 2:16 & 2:20 Philippians 3:9 & Revelation 14:12 and O.T. Habakkuk 2:4. To believe is one thing but to know is far better because the word know is a word of intimacy and intimacy is experienced only in God's secret place of personal communion Daily with the one you LOVE most. In the bible that place is called the spiritual upper room and the bridal chamber. Very few know about the secret place of prayerful Meditation and yet true prayer depends on meeting the Lord in secret. Notice Matthew chapter 6 and the word secret 6 time, two times in regard to giving , two times in regard to praying, and two times in regard to fasting. Know the value of the Secret Place and learn the blessing it brings. . Psalms 27:4-5 & 31:20 & 32:7-8 & 51:6 & 91:1 The Mystery of the Gospel of Grace through Christ Faith and that not of your own. Christ in you the hope of Glory Coloaaians 1:26-27 The Name CHRISTIAN remove the letter A and spell CHRIST IN you the hope of salvation glory. Hebrews 12:2 Christ Jesus the author and finisher of Faith. humble your self before God and he alone will lift you up. James 4:10 The universal Church teaches tithing is giving money but true tithing is giving God your Time each and every day. A day has 24 hours and divided by 10 = 2.4 hours a day not 2.4 hours a week on Sunday, again a year has 8760 hours divided by 10 that = 876. Now may I ask are you giving God your one tenth or are you giving it to self indulgent for self pleasure. Spiritual words for Spiritual thought. This is an incredible message. Here we are exactly experiencing what Pr Doug just described... It cannot be coincidental... God help us. The person comes claiming to be with credentials, he claims to be a chef, then he could sing, took music somewhere in music ministry. If need, he can preach... I'm still trying to get over what I've just heard .... God help us...

All they cud say is becareful n beware of this person 🙏 He is full of pride n haughtiness for sure. The book of James and some of the Epistles of Paul do actually oppose one another, if they are both read honestly and in context. James presumably would have been aware of passages like Gal 3:5-6 and Romans chapter 4. James is also the one that asked Paul to show he was not teaching against the law by going through the Nazarite ritual in the Temple (Acts 21). Paul fails to complete it because some who he had been teaching expose him and throw him out. Paul's message of "faith only" allows believers to eat meat sacrificed to idols if no weak "brothers" are present. This is the teaching of Balaam. In the Clementine Homilies, the conflict between Paul and James is even further expounded. In my weighing of all of this, I would be surprised if the "foolish man" James refers to is not actually Paul.

The SDA seem to be biblical which is what I seek but one exception is no mention of baptism and not much on repentance for salvation. I don't need the works lecture because faith is about your actions. Mark 16:16 you can't explain away and it's mentioned several times in the Acts of the apostles. I'm not pointing this out to argue , be arrogant , or cause strife. Salvation is very important and we have to get it right. Many times in the Bible people have been instructed to follow certain instructions by God to get a result, if they didn't obey then it didn't happen. Anyone can say : "I believe".
Jesus Christ said: "If YOU love me, Keep my Commands." The Commands are the 10 Commandments of God! The ONLY laws of God are the ones God wrote in stone! Jesus came to fulfill the law NOT to do away with them. It is still wrong to murder, cheat, lie, steal, covet things that belong to others, worship false gods, commit adultery, --those have to do with the last six Commandments of the Bible. So if those are still valid, why not the first four?? Especially the one that God said: Remember the Sabbath--and to keep it Holy, for in six days your God created the world, and on the seventh day, God rested and consecrated it, made it Holy, and a memorial for the work and what He did.
The Sabbath is a reminder that God is not only THE only God, but also that He created the earth and Universe, he created mankind, and also everything on the earth. It is stated many times in the Bible, like in Psalm 8. Therefore, God wants mankind to remember and not worship false gods, and not rely on evolution to replace the truth. Why is that such a huge problem, since this is throughout in the Bible?
Also salvation as preached by Pastor Doug is in Romans 10:9-13, John 3:16-19. See 1 John 1:4-10. This is what we SDA believe in--IT IS NOT A CULT. ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN THE SALVATION OF CHRIST JESUS IS NOT A CULT. (REMEMBER, the Branch Davidians were a group of Zealots who while related to SDA in former name only, were NOT practicing the 10 Commandments of God--and they abandoned the true faith--following after ONE man's interpretation of the Scriptures. NOW THAT is a cult.
Jim Jones and Jonestown--HE claimed to be Jesus Christ--convinced people to follow him, and claimed HE was the way to heaven. HE controlled people, ignored the 10 Commandments, this group was a cult, killing themselves and murdering their children in Guyana.
Heavens Gate--did not follow Jesus Christ--believed that they could reached heaven by killling themselves and sending their souls to a spaceship hidden behind Coment Hale BOPP. These people were involved in a cult.

C’ mon really. Why are you trying to get people to question their faith, by faith ye stand. This just seems once again legalistic. If you don’t believe you’re saved, take it up with the Lord, the only one who knows. No...Jesus is the author, the one who finishes our work of faith.

This is eternal life for us, that the Lord Jesus Christ would manifest His own life in ours. It is the life of selfless service towards God and towards one another. It is this life that will be zealous of good works, because it is Christ in them, and them in Christ, the hope of glory. By faith, it is His life living in us, for it is the faith of Jesus that shall keep us from sin. Amen.
