Great flying! Thoroughly looking forward to getting my AR Pro finished and up in the air, will use a OG Air Unit to begin with until I'm more confident to put a O3 in it! BLUEFISH you say you are flying with permanent enable servo autotrim, but that do not get activate until you switch or activated to autolevel? or I'm wrong?
I fly with Continuously trim servos on Fixed Wing switched on in inav. The setting is on the Configuration Tab bottom left. I then have a switch setup on my radio that turns on Angle Mode and Auto Level together for setting up the pitch offset to keep the plane level. You have to save the new value using the configurator or stick commands. Here are two links that explain and the stick command to save the setting. github.com/iNavFlight/inav/wiki/Modes github.com/iNavFlight/inav/blob/master/docs/Controls.md

Oh and I run the servos on 6V from my FC as I use balsa elevons and they put a little more pressure on the servos because they do not deflect as much at higher speeds.
I'm curious in manual mode how much throw you have on the roll and pitch axis, the manual recommends 12mm max but I've tried and cannot get under 15mm. I must be missing something. Thanks
I have approx 22mm on Pitch and 24mm on Roll, but I do run my servo endpoints in inav from 800 to 2200. I am a pincher and very delicate on the sticks but sometimes need big deflections for tight turns and I use balsa elevons and am carrying a lot of weight with a 5000 mah 4S and GoPro.
@@bluefish3607 ok thanks, i may leave mine at 15mm pitch and roll, I don't see away to reduce them unless i tried changing end points in inav? Thanks again keep those videos coming

Hi Andrew, The plane was previously tuned to my liking based upon an autotune and then tweaking the settings to get the feel I like. All I did on the day prior to that flight was do an autolevel and autotrim as I replaced a servo made a slight adjustment to the new servo control rod to get as close to 1500 as I could in level flight, ended up at 1524 which is more than acceptable other servo is at 1479. I didn’t re Autotune or change any PIFF values as it felt great and locked in.
@@bluefish3607 let me share with you the video. I have been looking to find out the best way to let me plane last for decade since where I live we don’t have grassy field but just rocky fields.
I do this, set inav to permanently enabled autotrim, then Autolevel, then Autotune, land and check and set servo linkages to 1500 for level flight if necessary. Tweak the pitch and roll rates to your liking and adjust PIDS only if you feel necessary, but if the plane is well put together it should fly pretty good just like this with no further adjustement to PIDS. Watch my process on this AR Pro maiden video. ruclips.net/video/ygIn5whikxo/видео.html
The AR Wing Pro is a very good plane for long range. It has a large battery carrying capacity and with a hi capacity LION well over an hour of flight time should be possible. I do not personally fly mine long range and just have fun flying proximity no more than 2 km away generally.
"farmer gives me permission to fly here" you dont need his permission - he doesnt own the airspace. He does own your landing strip though 😂 Always better to have the OK than not though.
Angle Mode isn't a self levelling mode....That's Horizon mode. Most of your flight is at 80% throttle, it's just burning through the battery. Half throttle wouldn't see much reduction in speed, but a much longer flight...Stay away from those high tension Pylon cables. Isn't our hobby under enough threat from the Fun Police already?....You should know better...🤔😳🇬🇧
To use autolevel in inav I believe you combine angle mode and autolevel on the same switch in the modes tab as I do. It only looks like I am close to those cables in the footage due to the lens, I am not actually that close you could fit a two storey house under those cables. You would have to fly blindfold to hit one of those pylons or cables 😀

I had a Brotherhobby Reunion 2318 1250KV with a 9x5 Aeronaut Cam Carbon Light prop on an AR Pro and that was pretty efficient. I will using that combo on my next AR Pro Build as it is also much quieter, which is useful when flying in certain areas.

Great flying! Thoroughly looking forward to getting my AR Pro finished and up in the air, will use a OG Air Unit to begin with until I'm more confident to put a O3 in it! Is that a Hero 6 on the front? I use my Hero 6 more than the Hero 10 or 8 (naked) as if l crash, it's cheaper to replace and still produces amazing quality footage. Happy flying 🤙
Thanks, yes I use the Hero 6 Black running 1.6 firmware as that seems to work best with Reelsteady Go. The Hero 6 is also smaller and lighter the new models just seem to get bigger everytime. I love the AR Pro and will hopefully get my new build finished soon. Good luck with your maiden and have fun with your ARP.
Bloody marvellous stuff - how fast is the wing going ?
I fly between 70 and 90 mph generally with some 100 mph plus dives.
How about a link to the servo arm covers you made?
Here you go

what is you setup, i have win pro but all time it get return home it crash know way
@BlueFish
Where can i find those servo covers? Cant find them anywhere
Greetings from germany :-)
Hi Lenny, they are my design here is a link. I love Germany I have flown there with friends a few times now, will be there this summer.

I feel like I'm missing half the font you have, way more buggy osd dunno what I'm missing(goggles 2) ... Also there's been update for goggle side to use hd osd, you have to change to HD canvas in goggles after update and switch to avata osd in inav for it to frame correctly
I wasn’t aware of that update thanks for the heads up I will look into it. Not sure what your issue is are you running inav 6?
@@bluefish3607 yeah on new 6.0 release build (installed last day or 2) and it's the same on 2 wings, it's like voltage(battery) symbols are arrows and distance to home symbol is a temperature logo.... Almost like part of font is outta order
This is on 2 vistas fyi, but osd should be same between em and o3 on goggles 2 from what I understand
Ahh it looks like a bunch are fixed going back to bf 4.3 compat mode, I thought more were broken in 4.3 mode but I was mistaken... Guess we'll need to wait on inav update to take advantage of the widescreen osd
@@badfourlife Yeah I hope that DJI and inav can work together to deliver a quality OSD which would be fantatsic. WTF OSD is amazing and it would be fantastic to have something like that with Goggles 2 and O3 in the future, fingers crossed.
did you test range o3 and googles 2 ? I tested it yesterday and didn't experience any interruptions for 12 km in very windy weather. i use cyrstal patch antenna together dji stock antenna .
No I don't fly long range much anymore, but that is pretty impressive, do you have a link to the patch antenna you used?
BLUEFISH you say you are flying with permanent enable servo autotrim, but that do not get activate until you switch or activated to autolevel? or I'm wrong?
I fly with Continuously trim servos on Fixed Wing switched on in inav. The setting is on the Configuration Tab bottom left. I then have a switch setup on my radio that turns on Angle Mode and Auto Level together for setting up the pitch offset to keep the plane level. You have to save the new value using the configurator or stick commands.
Here are two links that explain and the stick command to save the setting.

Good stuff mate. How do you get the delay when you raise the throttle to auto launch. What is it you have to change and what do to change it to. I have a big twin that pulls a bit hard in autolaunch idle when I raise the throttle. Hard to hold with 1 hand and when idle kicks in when I raise the throttle. Thanks
Hi the comand is set nav_fw_launch_idle_motor_delay = 10000 with the 10000 in my case equating to 10 seconds as the inav value is in milliseconds.
@@bluefish3607 ok great. Thank you
Have you heard of a Torq CL0508 coreless servo?
No, have you tried them, any good?
@@bluefish3607 smooth as butter! really powerful also! I have a set in an AR Pro and a Large size Goblin
Be curious to see how the telouene thinned down e6000 coating turns out. That's a good idea.
Yes me too I will be doing it this weekend and will upload a video of the method and results.
@@bluefish3607 let us know buddy
Buddy which battery pack and servos do you use?
Hi I use Towerpro MG90D servos www.towerpro.com.tw/product/mg90d-2/
I use CNHL 4S 5000mah 55C and 70C lipos
chinahobbyline.com/collections/cnhl-voltage-14-8v-4s-lipo-batteries/products/cnhl-gplus-series-5000mah-14-8v-4s-55c-lipo-battery-with-xt90-plug
@@egtreadway4232 That should be absolutely fine, muscle memory is the key to keeping everything smooth imo, the more I practice the smoother it seems to get for me anyway.
Did you tune it during or prior to the flight or stick with stock settings ?
Hi Andrew, The plane was previously tuned to my liking based upon an autotune and then tweaking the settings to get the feel I like. All I did on the day prior to that flight was do an autolevel and autotrim as I replaced a servo made a slight adjustment to the new servo control rod to get as close to 1500 as I could in level flight, ended up at 1524 which is more than acceptable other servo is at 1479. I didn’t re Autotune or change any PIFF values as it felt great and locked in.
since you are buying toluene, you can use it with goop and kevlar and the plane last for a decade! :)
I never thought of that is it possible?
@@bluefish3607 let me share with you the video. I have been looking to find out the best way to let me plane last for decade since where I live we don’t have grassy field but just rocky fields.
Whereabouts is this???
Lincolnshire, UK
how do you tune you wing with inav?does it stock setting
I do this, set inav to permanently enabled autotrim, then Autolevel, then Autotune, land and check and set servo linkages to 1500 for level flight if necessary. Tweak the pitch and roll rates to your liking and adjust PIDS only if you feel necessary, but if the plane is well put together it should fly pretty good just like this with no further adjustement to PIDS.
Watch my process on this AR Pro maiden video.

Great update "Idiot"😂 I can't wait to get inav 6.0 on a few of my wings
I am sure you will be impressed with it Doug.
How many Mah 4s do you use sir
5000mah
inav 6.0 rc1?
No inav 6.0 stable release

谢谢,我花了一段时间来完善它 - No idea if the translation will make sense. :-)
this build can bu used for high altitude long range? what flight time i can get?
The AR Wing Pro is a very good plane for long range. It has a large battery carrying capacity and with a hi capacity LION well over an hour of flight time should be possible. I do not personally fly mine long range and just have fun flying proximity no more than 2 km away generally.
thank you so much 👍🏻 will get one asap 🫣
e6000 as in the glue?
Yes E6000 glue
@@bluefish3607 cheers, I'll keep a note
"farmer gives me permission to fly here"
you dont need his permission - he doesnt own the airspace. He does own your landing strip though 😂
Always better to have the OK than not though.
Yeah its nice to have a private place where no members of the public can complain tbh
You would have to fly blindfold to hit one of those pylons or cables 😀
just get duck tape lmao that what i use and i have no cracks from crashes
Lol duck tape can be used on anything, I have been focusing on not crashing but it's not working 🙂

If you are learning with this AR wing 🪽 like me . Buy stocks in e-6000 😂 e-6000 is great and I like the AR WING 🪽
I have used plenty of E6000 and UHU Por during my learning curve this is my 5th AR Pro :-)
