in 4-4 you kill 5 enemies for an S rank, however, even with 4 kills you get an S which means that V2 wasnt supposed to die (kinda obvious but its a cool useless fact)

you can do it with an a P-rank if do first try
new speedrun category: v2 deathless. its a normal speedrun, you just have to use this skip to avoid the v2 death animation.

Smart idea using the checkpoint to let you move. Knew about the pause menu freeing your camera but thought you had to trigger the fall to move without using rockets.

I remember when you could still do rocket clips and I found a way to have the v2 fight still active during the final part of the level, I then speedran it before the patch lol. (also uerm achtually 🤓 you still killed v2 just kept them from hitting the ground)

tl:dr you cant hakita crippled V1
its impossible to get a p-rank with this route
during the fall, the player cant:
- move or slide in any direction
- use arms
- take side ways momentum from explosions
so basically, you cant move, you cant use arm to trigger the 4 enemies which means you cant even EXIT the level
the reason why we restart is to get the checkpoint after grabbing the arm to have our controls back
