Firestarter has made me discover how awesome overheat nailgun is. Putting pressure off crowd control options has allowed the overheat nailgun to shine so much. Spraying oil on the arena is arguably better on later cg waves than overheat saws
nailgun was always my sweet baby im so glad it got the conductor buff (before the red nailgun was added the only way to get conductor bonus was railcannon and it had no aoe and had a longer delay before it dealt the damage)
when full arsenal first came out, i remember feeling rlly confused about conduction so i asked the discord bassically "hey can someone tell me like everything about how the new jumpstart works" and their answers were bassically "just chuck down magnets and use it" so thanks for this being miles better than that lmao
The only joy my shitty laptop has given me is watching the frames just completely die as conduction goes off, you can just feel the damage being done to the enemies as it happens lol
@@ussom1377 As far as I can tell from my testing nothing unexpected happens, no "conduction RCPs". I had fiddled around with it to maybe get a long distance conduction spread by punching a coin into a far away enemy but couldn't get it to work. Eyy good eye! I acutally based a lot of my weapons around different enemies. My pistol is drone themed, alt shotgun is gutterman themed, nailgun is soldier themed and the rocket launcher is guttertank themed!
my pistols are ebony and ivory from devil may cry (alt is ebony, normal is ivory) shotgun is just random colors, I use clear sky blue for sawblade, and a similar yet different custom for the nailgun. My rocket launcher has the colors of the rocket jumper from tf2, however you really can't tell, and my railcannon is just transgender
Thanks so much for making this absolute peak guide. Now I can crowd control all over the place. I do wonder if conduction will get nerfed if enough casual players discover this absolute beast
For a long time, the extent of my understanding and use of conduction was using the railcannon to one-shot the whole first room in 5-1. Then I discovered the game-breaking might of chain lightning almost by accident, as it carried me through 7-3's final arena, while marked for death on Brutal. It happened so fast that I barely caught what happened, and still never understood how. Thank you for the guide, P-2 will be so much easier when I'm not using superstition and dreams to get my conduction chains off.
This guide was fantastic! I knew basically nothing about conduction and now I feel like I understand the mechanic completely, all within a switft 20 minutes. Great video!
I have around 300 hours in ultrakill and still learning, all i knew about conduction is 'put metal in enemy and zap'. Thank you for this video, i now have whole new field of experiments
I have like I think around 60 hours in ultrakill and just learnt about this Only way I knew how to conduct was shoot electric railcannon in water and Zap with Jumpstart variant of the nail gun or sawblade
I play on controller and got the game recently, and have P-ranked every level up until P-2 and layer 7, and bro...this is exactly what I need to take things up a notch. I had a decent grasp on conduction but this guide will surely help me improve a ton. Definitely one of the best Ultrakill guides I've seen so far btw!
scattered white lines across the screen? electric effects? instantly killing basically every enemy on the field around you? this is the Ultrakill version of Judgement Cut End.
As someone who has beaten wave 50 on brutal, but struggles to consistently get there, this really feels like that last thing I needed to fill out my gameplan.
Thanks to watching a bit of your cyber grind streams and also this video really has helped me a lot to get new PBs I never thought I could reach! I was stuck at 36 for quite some time on Violent. A few days ago, after a month of grinding, I got to 50! Not only that, but today I got to 46 on Brutal, really feeling motivated to keep going and improve. Obviously it's not only this conduction tech that lead me to this - I improved a lot in some other aspects - but conduction plays such a big role in the way I clear waves now and not only it's satisfying at doing its job, it does it pretty dang well! Basically, thank you! Your other videos are also really cool, so keep it up :)
tysm for this, it's kinda crazy that this mechanic has just existed for so long and not had a video like this made on it. I can't wait have more variety when I use conduction cause even though I love it I basically just do the same thing every time I use it Also small ramble but I wish the screwdriver conducted at least twice, probably not any more than that though since you obviously still get all the damage and healing from the screwdriver when using it but I just wish that it was a little bit more than an expensive ground magnet when it comes to conducting
I thought I was hearing things but he definetly says "anime" when trying to say "enemy" lol. He keeps saying "Anime" throughout the video too! It's Eh-neh-me, not ah-neh-may. This isnt even a British English vs American English since both say enemy the same way. He's just saying it blatantly wrong lmao
Oh my god, thanks so much for making this video. I use the jumpstart especially all the time and have a very similar setup to you, so I can directly implement some of this into my gameplay without having to switch stuff up. Knowing coins conduct is going to be incredibly useful.
DUDE FUCKING FINALLY!!!!!!!! I knew that conduction was powerful, and that magnets and nails made it work, but I never understood the match behind it, and how to get the maximum amount of Conductions. Thank you so much for explaining this insane tech for us all!
Fun Fact! when you parry the Ferryman, the same lighting that he summons also comes down. and this can also be used for Conductions! You have to toss a coin above him as you parry to catch it
Screwdriver tech idea: combine with saws after jumpstart and punch right before it procs so you do saw damage followed by all the remainder screwdriver damage whilst also shooting a high damage projectile. Easiest seen with red saw jumpstart.
this condunction stuff really helped me p rank minos, did it in 1:51 minutes, man the jumpstart sawblade carried me, now with all those techs my time for sure will skyrocket :)

I was familiar with most of the tech in this video but I had no idea the screwdriver and chainsaw could conduct. The only downside of the jumpstart and conduction in general is that a dulls weapons very fast which is risky in waves 50+ in brutal cybergrind. however because the 2 best healing sources in the game are also conductable you can continue dealing damage and healing.
I genuinely use the Jumpstart for getting better times in levels all the time. It’s basically a free 10 second shave in levels like 0-2 or 0-4 and it’s probably my favourite weapon in the entire game.
my favourite thing about doing a conduction play is the half second after it goes off where you autopilot into clean-up mode before you realize that absolutely nothing survived it.

Nails kinda do need a buff, saws are still better in a good 90% of situations. (not the red saw ofc)
