I bought one for my brand new BMW R1250 GSA got rid of the Nav Prep took a day to properly fit but omg so worth it. An absolute game changer no more faffing. I cannot recommend enough this great bit of kit.
Can’t disconnect after a ride right? Stays hard wired on bike? System is cheaper where I live but tempted to wait for next generation. Start up company so quite interested to see how this product develops. They certainly pushed it hard in the US with You tube promotions. I’m on the fence but need to replace my Garmin which has useless maps in SEA and requires an IT degree to download maps. Currently using an old iPhone and this system has many plus points. Thanks for the review Ben.
Thanks for the comment. Yes this is hard wired in and can't be removed. There are also specific bolts so people would need the right tool to remove. The tech seems very good considering but I'm sure as time goes on... Others will follow. I'll be doing another video on the TPMS, Remote and app soon. Appreciate the comment.
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventurethanks for the review. I'm very excited for this product. For me the rear view monitoring is a must need. The only thing that keeps me away from it unfortunately is that it's hardwired.
@@rockyescape8989 yeah I know what you mean. Luckily my bike was fitted with the BMW nav plug so I adapted it for this plug than to rather splice and connect the battery
Thanks Jean. Sure. It's the BMW navigator connection loom. Simply the power wires connect the ignition wire and the positive. The last wire is the negative. Essentially you won't need to access the battery.

Great to hear it. Totally agree this system is miles ahead of the navigator. Don't need to keep my phone mount anymore either
Very clear presentation, not verbose. Thanks
Thanks 👍🏻
I like this setup. There is a Android app i want to use. Can you download apps to the device? I use an iphone so cant download the specific app.
It all goes through the phone and sync from there.
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure thats good to know thank you

Hi, great vid, thanks. Can you be more precise about the power wiring to the OEM bmw connector!? Which wire to which ?
Thanks Jean. Sure. It's the BMW navigator connection loom. Simply the power wires connect the ignition wire and the positive. The last wire is the negative. Essentially you won't need to access the battery.
Did you connect before (U had to cut the wire) or after the Chigee rond connector (to the naked 3 wires) ?
@@jean-lucjourdan7227 yes basically altered the wires and attached them to the BMW loom.
Is it possible to rotate it in portrait mode, like the Ducati Desert X or the Yamaha Tenere 700?
Unfortunately no portrait mode available. Only a std mode for photos.
👍
