I don't think they intended the camera to be high definition, but more as a dash-cam type for safety rather than video making.

Hi Old Mecanic! Question! If I have Cansmart of Denali, I can conect these unit too in the BMW bus?
Your feedback on the "Blind Spot Detection"(BSD) is spot on. Standard mode can't seem to detect anything, and Sensitive mode detects everything....so is kinda useless.
I would like to ask you:
1. whether you can for Zoom In/Out on Google Maps with the remote control?
2. to increase and decrease the volume when listening to Spotify?

I am very confused what kind of oil I have to use inmy x country 2009. the country where I am is Mexico, barely we get o centigrade degree. Could you please give me your advice???, in one video you said 10w 40 castrol sinthetic. Appreciate very much your answer.
Then I would go for a known brand, 10w40, halve synthetic oil 😉

My BSD doesn't give false alarms from opposite direction traffic. I would imagine it's the setting that you selected.

Inderdaad duidelijk verhaal waarom ie daar niet past. Maar joe is erg handig, kan je niet een betere camera kopen en die aan de bedrading vastknopen. Of heb je dan software-matig problemen? Ik denk ook maar mee :)
Nou eigenlijk was dat mijn idee ook. En de front camera hoeft wat mij betreft ook niet zichtbaar te zijn op het display 👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻😉
If I had known what I know now then I wouldn't have bought it. The can bus remote control is hopeless and awkward and now the io5-play is out fitting in the standard bmw navigator mount and with scroll functionality on the wonderwheel as standard. I was not informed by Chigee for the bmw version to come out when I bought the io5-lite in March 2024, those camera's coming with it I find no reason for using them, downloading 2 minute files on you smartphone takes ages and then you smartphone is packed to capacity, ánd you do need wifi to download. The io5--play would be the right choice but now I am stuck with a fixed fitted version with less functionality and useless camera's.
I would happily disasemble the io5-lite version for selling and buy the io5-play instead, or perhaps the Capuride 7 inch screen. Anyone interested in a slightly used second hand io5-lite with can bus remote control, tire pressure sensors and screen protector?
Try Calimoto for navigation i think you will really like it.
Can chigee hardware run calimoto ? I don’t want my phone on my handlebars !

Jah absoluut, Ik heb een samsung telefoon dus dan connect de Chigee met mn foon via Android Auto. Van A naar B rijden gaat perfect met google maps. Om een route te maken met meerdere tussen punten gebruik ik Yandex Maps, ook gratis.
Dan kun je tussen (via) punten in je route zetten zonder dat je bij elk tussen punt op het scherm moet drukken om te 'zeggen' dat je naar het volgende tussenpunt wil rijden zoal bij Google maps het geval is.
@@TheOldMechanictop! Naar aanleiding van uw review en reactie vanochtend besteld voor op mijn multistrada v4s. Wel de ‘Play’ versie besteld (zonder camera’s) aangezien blindspot detectie al op mijn motor zit.
De multistrada heeft ook een build in navigatie via de Ducati app maar dat is een groot drama. Erg treurig overigens voor een motor van 30k. Vandaar de behoefte aan een alternatief en dit leek me een geweldige oplossing. Dank voor de review en reactie. 🙌🏻
