I've seen this so many times but it just hit me how special Yu-Gi-Oh is as an IP Like it's a single IP that can effectively function as at least 50 completely different ones with different appeal tp different people while still feeling connected Like how many different genres all of these would cover as anime and how many could actually sustain themselves as full series and not just an anthology it's crazy
This animation preview goes through multiple anime stroylines and this is just random/really popular classic/new stuff they want to promote. A movie for Blue Eyes like Tales of Earth Sea, Charmers being a cute and comfy magical girl show that branches off into different directions based on the girls character arcs, Mellphy's being a childrens show, Zeus is just there Getter Robo, Ice Barriers MASSIVE Duel Terminal lore, Six Sam getting so much love with that animation being a big time anime movie, Live Twins being promotional characters for new archetypes of announcements and fun one off OVA's, Albaz is just Shounen series waiting to happen and so much more. Even failed archetypes like say Vendread that has cool lore and art but the deck doesn't work as well as it should easily can make whatever they want. Look at Kosmos being Star Wars + Wizard of Oz for a fun sci-fi movie, Good Pride being a big old sci to race movie and so on. Vanquish Soul alone can be its own game and anime along with Valantyz. Which can tie in with Konami having a way to make a new product to sell to people. All of the potential in the world.
Magistus connects a lot of archetypes, specifically Endymion, Invoked, and Witchcrafter. But it also extends to Spellbook, Dark Magician, Buster Blader, Gaia/BLS, Kuriboh, and Archfiend.
7:25 you know you can play Photon Wing in your Gradius Deck. Not Often you Get a Plane that’s a Level 4, 1800 atk monster that fits your deck like a glove :)
Incredibly hype for this! Been using Azure-Eyes and Deep-Eyes for a while now as part of my main strategy so hoping that part of the deck gets more love. 😁 Also, it's "Kagari" not Kaguya 😅
Brother don't raise your expectations too much, as for now there are no details about having an anime, rather they made it clear that they made this piece for two reasons. It's to celebrate yugioh 25th anniversary quarter as well as the launching of their own animation studio by showing off a glimpse of what they could do at the same time

yep "Players would enter up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A and Start on a controller to activate the "Konami code." It was first used in the game Gradius..." and Gradius III is still my favorite game from SNES so very nostalgic, if i remember correctly it was a developer code prior
The thing is we all know konami loves money and any studio worth a damn would put something out and see how the community takes to it. Look at the bring back toonami campaign in 2012. If it didn't take off we wouldn't have it back. So konami is watching everyone react and this could make or break the future of content being made. Ijs
No there isn't gonna be an anime about any of these, Konami made this video to celebrate the 25th anniversary and to show off the talent in their new animation studio
Exactly, i honestly have no idea where the viewers come up with such bold expectations, it's no wonder now that they often feel extremely disappointed by whatever yugioh content they get
@@StepJoJo Because they have eyes and a functioning brain. Yugioh is Konami's biggest IP because they fucked up their games division when they tried to lean even more into Pachinko and got fucked over by Corona do to societal obligations since Japan couldn't declare lockdowns legally, Master Duel was released that revitalized more want in the IP, they just made some manga and LN's for Yugioh card lore and released new info on a new Albaz lore box set coming out this year with all the archetypes in that lore along with new figures. It be actually fucking stupid on a financial level to announce this and NOT do anything Yugioh related. Especially with Sky Strikers being the end stinger for the trailer and the manga doing well and only can do even more well with an anime series or movie. To promote the new Albaz lore box sets coming, tease a new anime project for that around the time of it's release. Live Twins could easily be used to hype up new cards as promotional mascots. Just making animated trailers for new cards like it's gacha trails alone would get people interested. Learn basic multimedia business marketing and promoting.
@@StepJoJo Because they have eyes and know basic marketing. How can you even remotely think making tie in animations for new product with cool shit that they have also been experimenting with breaking away from the normal Yugioh promotional anime? The Sky Striker manga and LN alone getting an anime series or movie to promote it would max it out hard for merch sales. Take Albaz to with the new Albaz lore collection box set they going to throw out this year? This is basic multimedia business promoting.

5:15 technically Aleister is from that lore even though invoker is his stand alone archetype

Hope they at least combine starfrost related archtypes and albaz related archtypes
Magistus may not but Aleister and Verre are related to it. So i guess it kinda makes sense.

@@MansMan42069 yeah i mean they may not be in the same story but they live in the same world.
What do you mean by Konami code?
Konami games have some kind of cheatcode. The konami animation logo draws that code at the end of the video.

Genuinely think you're high if you think there isn't a good chance of it happening
At this point, you’d think Konami would’ve figured HYPING Up their Yugioh audience to be a Bad Idea.
Cause now we Have EXPECTATIONS!!!
