You know what i hate? The diabelstar and snake-eyes stuff is now in master duel but the new Red dragon archfiend and resonator stuff isnt and it came out a month before age of overlord.
Very small correction just for the people who are building this, Bonfire CANNOT search Ponix, as he is a Winged-Beast type, just keep that in mind when constructing your combo lines, but you can search Poplar or Snake Eyes Ash so it is functionally the same thing provided you have not activated their effects in the same turn already (Which theoretically means you should have access to Ponix anyways)
They have to hit original sinful spoils, that’s the card that makes this deck both synergize insane, and go plus 8. It doesn’t kill the deck or make it mediocre. And consistency hits like limiting bonfire or Snash aren’t going to do it.
If we are really heading to another tier 0 format then i am fine with this deck, no floodgates or 5negates boards or handrips just whoever plays better wins pretty nice if you ask me
I have been loving the fire kings as a deck for a while now. Playing dogmatika as a supplementary engine since wanted was to expensive. Makes me so sad to see fire king reduced to a engine for the broken snake eyes
Goblin player should've won, there was no reason for them to imperm the arvata at the end there, if they save it for ash, the one card combo deck doesn't get to one card combo and probably loses.
If the fire king structure taught me anything it's that it's really funny to use Nephtys as a feather duster So could we run it as a one of in the side deck for lab?
I like that this TMT is just MBT being so incredulous about how stupidly strong this deck is. Have we reached critical mass of what a deck can do? The amount of tier 0 formats that have occurred within the past few years is absurd. Yugioh needs to change.
There has been one which is tear for like 3 premier events, other decks that had over 50% representation (still not close to tier 0) in between 2017 spyral and now are striker, orcust variants, adamancipator and kash, but only orcust came close to tier 0 even though it's probably the weakest deck here funnily enough, as it happened at the end of toss so no mermiad, no rusty and no azathot on the opponent's turn Also opening a 1-off nib against a deck that loses to it won't happen every game, the goblin player imperming arvata for no reason cost them the game and lab lost 2-1 afted losing the dice roll and not opening any hand traps or outs like evenly, if fire kings go 2nd there they probably lose the match so nothing surprising there, the deck's really strong but seems very overhyped in this video
Promethean is just an "ok" card as a link climber due to her restrictions. What makes her BUSTED is @18:55, not only completely invalidating Ty-phon's existence way harder than the Kamehameha from Zeus in the trailer, not only locking the opponent for the rest of the turn, but triggering a set of effects that leave your board even better at the "cost" of destroying 1 FIRE monsters. Without her, Lab could just NS clock, make Ty-phon, run over something like Apollo, bounce something else like Baronne, set 5 and profit. Now unless Promethean is used, you autolose the moment you make Ty-phon. In this case here leaving Lady there would be infinitely better since that board CANNOT remove her by any means, then on the opponent's turn you try to bait Sky burn while praying the combo DDG + Daruma are enough to give you a turn.
Ironically enough, it's not the Fire king. It's just Snake eyes that are a real problem now. FK is just a small engine. Pure snake eyes is a real problem

It certainly helps that my family is able to play Vanguard with me, while Yugioh is a bit too complicated for a “casual” game.
Feels like every card in this deck is both a starter and a extender, or a handtrap that, if you open any combination of two, will stop almost any other deck. Not as good a Tear Ishizu, but pretty close.
The idea is you go try and fetch super poly with allure of darkness, you play yubel and you give your opponent a veidos so if they try and play you can super poly it away with any yubel monster to make the fuion wich is indestructible by card effects pop the board and then use ashened for eternity to add back veidos to threaten lethal using the yubel monster and pop fire king island
I mean is this consider a Tier 0 deck? YEA... But it doesn't piss me off like Tearlament Ishizu. Maybe for others but for me; I can at least respond and play the game. MAYBE I lose right away but at least my deck isn't getting milled or worse.

It sucks to me that these cards are so good, because they are so cool to me. Snake-eye is great, possible tier 0-0.5 by itself because I've been playing it since it came out in master duel and it is absolutely the snake eye cards that are the problem. But to end a tangent, yeah I hope both of those get limited, bonfire especially because it just should be
Princess isn't at the level of elf, simply due to less flexibility with rank 4s you can summon. Then again you have 2 really good ones with a third infernoid one on the way
Ok, I have an issue with miragestallio. People often use it to summon another monster then link it off into sunlight wolf or Heatleo, which is good, it's a decent combo. My problem with it is that you use 2 monsters to summon miragestallio, and you only need 1 material to detach to summon the new monster. Once you link the new monster and miragestallio, the miragestallio still has another xyz material on it, essentially wasting it.

Though Fire King is probably going to be the most played variant due to the structure decks, so it'll seem like THAT build is Tier 0 even if it falls below the required representation.
Plot twist: the cards he threw were 3 Wanted and two Snash.
That would be about $500 I hope not
@@spi231 Well, you know that he's rolling in the club with phat stacks of kash.
Funny to see fire king sky burn still be named ‘ sacred immolation ‘ such a better name
Immolation is way better
3 Stage of choosing dexks

2. i wouldnt
3. I didnt that money anyway
Everything Changed When The Fire (King) Nation Attacked
Point 3 is not totally true: Ash without extender is still a full Snake-Eyes line
Normal summon Ash, add Poplar
Opponent Droll
Poplar summon itself
Poplar summon Linkuriboh
Poplar goes into S/T
Ash + Poplar goes Oak
Oak reborn Ash
Oak + Linkuriboh goes Flamberge
Flamberge + Ash make I:P
Flamberge effect summon back 2 (doesn't matter which one)
I:P + 1 of them go Princess
Princess summon back Flamberge
Flamberge put I:P in S/T zone
Princess + 2nd Snake-Eyes goes Amblowhale
Basically Snake-Eyes Ash through Droll end on Amblowhale + Flamberge with I:P in S/T
I hope you wear the snake eye glasses in every video and stream from now on
Its crazy that Master Duel can basically play this before TCG
And all it took was shareholders making demands because konami was fine lagging over 6 months behind even the tcg.
No fire kings tho
You know what i hate? The diabelstar and snake-eyes stuff is now in master duel but the new Red dragon archfiend and resonator stuff isnt and it came out a month before age of overlord.
Very small correction just for the people who are building this, Bonfire CANNOT search Ponix, as he is a Winged-Beast type, just keep that in mind when constructing your combo lines, but you can search Poplar or Snake Eyes Ash so it is functionally the same thing provided you have not activated their effects in the same turn already (Which theoretically means you should have access to Ponix anyways)
make note, the cost of this deck is approximately over a thousand dollars, let that sink in
1.4 k here in my country and still going up. XD.
shifter and the deck sink in swep
Half of that is just the SP
Did he just say "untap"...twice?
His name stands for Mono Blue Tron, an mtg deck.
You can guess what he is planning on doing during his hiatus
1:09 for a second, I thought there were 6 copies of Bonfire in there. Imagine making the deck's price THAT bad...
Technically the truth to be honest both Bonfire and Wanted get to Snash.
One of my first decks ever was fire kings in duel links. I'm salivating in anticipation for this in master duel
Have fun, all the Snake-Eyes cards minus Oak and Ash are UR.
i am SO close to memorizing the ygopro sponsor segment. just a few more lines away and ill be just like my favorite white boy....
I like how the ten minute tastings just get longer and longer, this one’s 20min…

Soon, "8-hours testing."

Thank God, now bad yugioh players can stop complaining about the meta being too varied 🙏🙏
They have to hit original sinful spoils, that’s the card that makes this deck both synergize insane, and go plus 8. It doesn’t kill the deck or make it mediocre. And consistency hits like limiting bonfire or Snash aren’t going to do it.
I love the framed photo that has more pictures of Sadie than it does Joseph or Jillian
If we are really heading to another tier 0 format then i am fine with this deck, no floodgates or 5negates boards or handrips just whoever plays better wins pretty nice if you ask me
I can only imagine how infuriatingly grindy.
The mirror match is going to be
I have been loving the fire kings as a deck for a while now. Playing dogmatika as a supplementary engine since wanted was to expensive.
Makes me so sad to see fire king reduced to a engine for the broken snake eyes
And now we wait for post phni raidraptor
I just appreciate having a good Going Second deck

Wow what a great time for me to take a break from playing the game when I was already burnt out prior to Phantom Nightmare lol
Why did Joseph remind me so much to the dean in Community when he got the VR headset 😂
Goblin player should've won, there was no reason for them to imperm the arvata at the end there, if they save it for ash, the one card combo deck doesn't get to one card combo and probably loses.
the only thing I hate about this format is the price tag
This is going to be looked back on as one of the most skill expressive formats of all time I can feel it
If the fire king structure taught me anything it's that it's really funny to use Nephtys as a feather duster
So could we run it as a one of in the side deck for lab?
I like that this TMT is just MBT being so incredulous about how stupidly strong this deck is.
Have we reached critical mass of what a deck can do? The amount of tier 0 formats that have occurred within the past few years is absurd. Yugioh needs to change.
Tear is the theoretical maximum for now.
There has been one which is tear for like 3 premier events, other decks that had over 50% representation (still not close to tier 0) in between 2017 spyral and now are striker, orcust variants, adamancipator and kash, but only orcust came close to tier 0 even though it's probably the weakest deck here funnily enough, as it happened at the end of toss so no mermiad, no rusty and no azathot on the opponent's turn
Also opening a 1-off nib against a deck that loses to it won't happen every game, the goblin player imperming arvata for no reason cost them the game and lab lost 2-1 afted losing the dice roll and not opening any hand traps or outs like evenly, if fire kings go 2nd there they probably lose the match so nothing surprising there, the deck's really strong but seems very overhyped in this video
Gonna miss the diverse formats after the Ariseheart ban and before PHNI 😢
Edison format lookin' really good right about now
Konami have really been advertising for Edison conversion with these past few additions to the game.
I watched through the whole deck profile part of this video while sitting through a SHS combo
I won, they had 3 omni-negates and a 3 mat apo, and then their connection failed
This deck makes me so glad I'm MD only. I'm not paying $130 for bonfire and you can't make me!
You say that but I had 8k gems saved in anticipation of these cards…. And blew them all to get exactly 1 Witch and no other Fire URs 😂
Great just back into yu gi oh and the fire king was my favorite deck back in the bad and now seeing it at tear 0 is greatly
Ironically enough, it's not the Fire king. It's just Snake eyes that are a real problem now. FK is just a small engine.
Pure snake eyes is a real problem
Once again I’m very happy the people I play with all play Casual and Jank Pet Decks.
And people wonder why people are jumping to other games, this is getting hilariously ridiculous.
Of course when you play against Salad you open the 1 of Nibiru 😂
Oh wow! This deck seems pretty good!
damn good luck to all tcg players
Which organ would you recommend to sell for this deck?
Preferably your left kidney
Liked the video cuz that intro made me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. You have no idea !!! 😂😂😂😂
Is there a spreadsheet already created for the combos
I don’t think I’ll ever regret the time I’ve spent with Yugioh and I’ll continue to play some of the video games, but I think Vanguard has become my go to when I’m wanting to enjoy some paper play.
I'd say pretty close is a bit too much. DABL tear, or maybe even PHHY tear without ishizu are better comparisons.
Yubel/ashened, we should cook with this as a community as a budget option
I feel like any Tier 0 deck would piss anyone off. If Fire King doesn’t piss you off then it’s not Tier 0…yet
@@siphemanana2551 Fair statement. Still, my experience in Master Duel against Tearlament was hell. Only 1 ONCE because my opponent milled the wrong cards.
The only thing worse than playing this format without dropping $300 on a vaguely useable deck is how MBT pronounces Poplar
I love how each time I take a break and then come back it's a tier zero meta, last time was Tear (though then I could actually beat all but the better players at my locals). Won't stop me from playing Yubel though, made a Yubel deck almost exactly 10 years ago and now there's new support, well now there's actually support and not just things like Mystic Tomato and Savage Colosseum. Will probably try mixing it with my D/D's too, either a Yubel deck with a D/D engine or a D/D deck with a forced Yubel engine who knows. (Just gotta wait for the next set to come out.)
This video is great, i will just wait at my locals playing budget volcanic and having fun
Just seeing the 2 Popular, 3x bonfire, 3x wanted being like $500+ is horrendous
Play something else like I am
Love the Wicked reference!
REALLY stretching the definition of Tier 0 with this one
I dont think so. He said upcoming Tier Zero format and this Deck has no real competition in the TCG. Everyone will play this at tournaments. Locals will be kinda safe as most more "casual" players wont be able to afford it or refuse to pay like 4 digits for some Cardboard :P
@@Y0G0FU so I assume this tier 0 talk came from the ocg where most of the current best tcg decks are hit and fire king isn't, and even then fire kings aren't anywhere near tier 0, and regarding the tcg
Lab can play searchable outs as usual, even in this video if mbt had to go 2nd he loses the match more often than not
Rescue ace isn't hit as hard in the tcg so it's still one of the best decks
Fenrir isn't banned in the tcg so kash is one of the most represented decks, largely thanks to shifter which kills fire king too, and fenrir also increases the power level of some other decks like mannadium, centurion or orcust
Despia has also been topping a lot and still has 3 opening, 3 brafu and 3 superpoly
Centurion matches will be dice roll simulators as fire king isn't great at going 2nd and they won't open 3 hand traps, including a 1-off nib against a deck that specifically loses to it + ash, or arvata + specific garnets that allow them to chain block every game, and even then using the imperm or arvata like in that goblin game is a massive misplay which cost the goblin player the game
And even orcust might be good as they had a good fire king matchup since they resist destruction and have a great grind game
I can't wait for the people complaining about the people complaining about the game being too expensive that we took a solid week off of now that we have the clear tier 1 to potentially tier 0 deck choice breaking a grand easily again.
Did I miss the part where he explained diabellstar and the sinfulspoils stuff? I've felt so out of the loop regarding this and was hoping he would expound on it in this video
A friend of mine came to me on Discord and asked if I had copies of Earth Golem. I remembered keeping it as a super poly target but it was never used because Salamangreat disappeared around the time IGAS was released. Turns out I have ONE Golem. Now I know why the guy needs it...
NGL Salad ideal turn one end board was nice to see game 1.
Konami really pushed Snake-Eyes to it's full potential while Goblin Riders will suffer the same fate as Krawlers...... Oof......
(Heath Ledger Joker)
"It's simple, we uh, unban the Tearlaments."
I know that the cards that will get hit in this deck are going to be the fire king cards, not the "underpowered" and "situational" snake-eye cards that form their own competent tier 1 competitive deck with 9 one-card starters
My guess is that snake eye ash will be at least limited. And in a year bonfire is limited
It sucks to me that these cards are so good, because they are so cool to me. Snake-eye is great, possible tier 0-0.5 by itself because I've been playing it since it came out in master duel and it is absolutely the snake eye cards that are the problem. But to end a tangent, yeah I hope both of those get limited, bonfire especially because it just should be
And with elf banned, princess should get the same treatment. We will see. But i think we will have a fire meta the whole 2024.
I know the joke was supposed to be "snake eyes" but the only thing I could think of were those marshmellon glasses
This is like 3 cards away from being in master duel it's kinda crazy how fast it caught up
And I thought Unchained being tier 1 was one of the wackiest thing to happen in ages.
Doesn't d-shifter eat this strategy alive? Also, we didn't see droll at all this vid?
"Tier 0" Ah yes, I see we're busting out the clickbait thumbnail strat once more.
Who knew not hard locking powerful engines could cause a tier zero format
Im shocked
Shocked
Not at all shocked
Hey konami, maybe uh
Put a "you cannot activate monster effects except diabellestar or pyro monsters until end of turn" on ash AND poplar
And don't call princess a lock, its not
