Oreo is such a champ! I'm getting a Havanese puppy in less than a month so I'm trying to learn all I can about grooming since I'm used to dogs with natural coats that just need brushing sometimes. Grooming dogs with "fancy" long coats is new to me and I really appreciate your channel!

I love that you managed such a fantastic puppy groom, without him going over the threshold - whale eyes and all those telling signs. You really are an awesome groomer! Thank you for showing how it can/should be done.
No, not a professional groomer, just the owner of a rescue Spoo, and working on being able to do in-between grooms myself. We've been making really good progress. There's been a sea change in the last few months - so encouraging.
That is awesome..sounds like you are a hands on dog owner,and will make your pup a happy life..We love when our customers are hands on like yourself.It makes the grooms so much easier on the dogs,and they end up being a lot healthier in the end..Thanks again for watching us...
My shih tzu is unmanageable. He's 10 mos. old and the groomers around here can't do anything with him. I've bought a kit and will start from square one. I watched Oreo's first groom so I'll reintroduce Ricky using that method. yikes

Looks more like a cocker coat than a poodle coat!
This is great! Could you also show the puppy bathing? I’m getting a puppy next week and would love to see how you go about doing this at a groomer’s.
