How to Mirror Body Panels - C8 Corvette Hack

In this video I describe the process I will be using to ensure that the passenger side fender is an accurate mirror of the drivers side.
It involves making a “skin” over the fender out of fiber reinforced strapping tape along with contour templates made out of foam panels.
Once those are done the skin will be turned inside out and the contour templates will be used to give the skin the rigidity and shape it needs.
In the past I tried doing this with a thin fiberglass skin but resin collected at the sharp edges and they were too still to turn inside out.
As always, I’m trying new and different ways to find what works the best.
