Idk what it is but the algorithm won't stop recommending me heartwarming but often bittersweet dog movies. TT Please RUclips, my heart can't take it lol!!!
Love the grandma's witchy voice lol ALSO i wanna say 3 things: * 2011-2012 was actually the tail end of major studios making anime in this style. Hunter x Hunter 2011 remake is another great example of this wonderful animation style! * Some of the scenes really remind me of the original dog anime, Ginga Nageroboshi no Gin, where the dogs fighting style seems to have been lifted directly. Even the monster at the end looked a lot like Akakabuto, the giant bear they face off against * It's crazy how heroic they made this dog! He seems to be the embodiment of freedom and justice. I don't know much about Tibetan culture but this film seemed to be coming from a place of deep respect. Awesome 🎉
I'm cry same my life my father how to train me to survive he don't care if I'm girl but I'm proud now I'm surviving what ever my life is alone in mountain with all my farm small dog
@@notoriouslystupid2770pretty sure he's saying that MAPPA (Chainsaw Man animation studio...also the people behind Attack on Titan) doesn't make slow paced, emotional, family oriented shows like this. They make highly violent, fast-paced, fantastical animes about people saving the world through brute force. This movie is just about the opposite. I can't recall any scenes of tenderness in Chainsaw Man that are like a child nursing an injured animal back to health...I know a lot of anime fans that aren't into that kind of stuff and are looking to the past for the types of storytelling that's not so in-your-face about it the way that shounen anime do nowadays. He just said it the worst way possible and chose to argue because words are too hard for some people.
@@tarryncooper4742 i mean i guess thats a fair view. Didnt realise this was Mappa. Chainsawman definitely has scenes of tenderness but most of the show is ultra violent but those scenes are further ahead in the manga. He did argue it in the worst way tho lmao
Great story I knew Tibetan Mastiff are rarest and high price. Nobody want pet them, I'm sure this breed are good dog with humans. Also many countries banned this breed since easy aggressive at strangers
Man is it realistic that they were to dispose of the gold and silver one dog like nothing, they are so expensive, I know is a cartoon I wonder how accurate
only genuine angel can act as Dogi the golden dog to risk its life for the child selfless act..our current dogma characters are not even close to what this dog is portraying.
It looks that rakshasa is a artificial breed between a buffalo and a tebetien dog amd as for its feet it could also be a bear its my opinione tell me youres
They're the most expensive dog breed ever. Someone bought it at the cost of $1.1 million dollars for a pure breed. They're very big. Weight more than 70kgs to 90kgs at 2 years old If you wanna buy pure breeds, go to Tibet. They have pure breeds. India and Nepal ones are smaller compare to Tibetan ones
1:15:44 of course you can interfere and you should! I find the message this movie delivers questionable. I was waiting for a character arch for the father but he remained harsh and cruel. His son needed him and he left him to deal with his grief alone. He then went on and just stood by when the father figure he seeked out in the dog was slaughtered in front of his sons eyes. They had guns! Also a missed chance here was to let the different human groups cooperate to deal with the monster. The villagers, the bandits, father and son and the dog pack! Hell, even if the dog would have died not fighting alone it wouldn’t have been so cruel. In the end the real monster was the emotional stunted father. Also in the wild, male and female dogs (&wolves) are not disproportionately weaker or stronger as portrayed here. In packs there is not a ‚king‘ dog or alpha, this has been overruled since the 80s, usually packs are being governed through cooperation and the leadership of a male and female, usually the oldest ans most experienced one. Survival of the friendliest and not fittest, this literally monkey primate thinking. I gonna end my rant here. Loved the kids and the dogs ❤
Anime mixed with my favorite dog is such a great combination 😍

My childhood movie... I wonder if 'rakshasa' is a monster from tibetan legends or just invented for the movie ?? That thing scared me so much as a kid
Rakshasas are demons in hinduism
It’s from different parts of Asia, particularly ones that have roots in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and some folk Islam.
