my little boy schnauzer passed away recently, I'm having trouble accepting that he's gone, because I didn't get to say goodbye, but he was already 14, and I know that he is now in a better place, but still it's so hard, I miss him dearly everyday, and just like magic today this video showed up on my feed, maybe I'm overthinking but, I can't help but think about this as a form of my baby saying goodbye, anyways, thank you for reading if you did, and I love you Rollie, with all my heart, rest in peace, I hope one day we can see each other again

She's in my dreams almost every night too. We used to lie around the house together & she was always by my side when i studied. Even if i got to say goodbye, i really didn't want to. Its hard and very painful. A few years back I lost my own schnauzer. Khole, she had been in my life ever since I was three she had been with me through thick and thin and was always there when I would come home crying from school. Losing her was a blow to my heart because I didn't get to say goodbye either. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know you two will see each other again one day ❤
my baby schnauzer is 14, turning 15 soon unfortunately.. i love him to pieces of course.. but i know his life is coming to an end.. i’m not 11 nor are my parents getting a divorce.. i’m in my 20s & my parents already divorced when i was little.. but i do feel extremely lonely.. my baby has always filled that void for years. being my little shadow.. it’s going to hurt like hell when he sleeps forever in peace.. i’m not ready, but i’m just trying to enjoy his presence now. thank you for this movie, it left me in tears.. both happy & heartbroken.
You should get him a younger pup friend if he’s still around. That way when he’s gone you wont be alone, and it might liven him up his last couple of years.

RUclips randomly suggested this full-length anime film to me and I went into it blind (I also thought it was going to be a silly clip from the thumbnail), but loved it. Hiromi and Junkers are a funny, sweet duo. The loneliness is pretty relatable as a former latchkey kid with no close friends who mostly spent time with cats and maids... Absolutely beautiful, down-to-earth art and animation, even the body language is very realistic. Tender little film about growing pains.
But the girl wishes (and it gets granted) for "everything to stay the same". There's no growth, no lesson. The parents didn't even quit their slave job by the end. It just "everything turns alright" by the end. It indulges the corporate slave work culture that Japan has to this day showing the 11yo girl wishing to have a fk picnic instead of their parents reuniting because the later not being "fair". It's a product of its time as watching any other industry-made product void of any critical message. I write this for anyone landing on this video thinking this is more than wasting time watching a superhero movie but with 80s children anime on top. At least the dog doesn't die by the end (cheap low blow). So there's that.

the fact that back in the day cartoons had to be selected and certified by the board of education in various countries makes so much sense when you look back at them now. CARTOONS HAD TO HAVE EDUCATIONAL VALUE OF SOME SORT IN ORDER TO BE SHOWN TO CHILDREN. Nowadays studios undermine the importance of children’s mentalities and what’s actually important for their development as tiny humans. Money and consumerism is making us rotten.

Wow, didn’t expect this to be as touching as it was. The film gave me some good laughs but it also made me cry (a lot). I think Junker’s mannerisms as a schnauzer were depicted perfectly! Also my timing finding this film was great, it’s 23rd of December today 😅
My schnauzer Lady battled cancer for awhile. She was such a good girl and never barked. She loved kisses and hugs, she was an amazing dog. I miss her, I’ll always love you Lady, I hope you’re resting well with my brother🩷
That movie you mentioned was so sad but beautiful, Marnie's story really made me cry. She was so strong because she had to be. I understood how the main character felt too (forgot her name) I'm glad you watched that

My Schnauzer saved my life when I was what felt like alone all the time. She was my best friend and it's like she understood everything. She was very smart and independent like junker. I would always talk to her because I had no one else. I hope she knows I always think of her. rest in peace my girl.
Lmao, yep. Reminds me of when I was walking my cousin's dog. He was a lazy piece of fluff, and was walking so slow and in a sleepy way. Then as we walked down our neighbourhood, the other bigger dogs started barking at him and he freaking started running like the Olympics. (Thankfully, the other dogs were locked up in the houses, so they can't get out, but damn, that's one way to wake up a sleepy dog lmao.)
As someone who got a schnauzer therapy dog before my parents got divorced this made me bawl my eyes out. She's 16 now, and I was definitely holding her the whole time.
Movies like this have that comfy and cozy charm that can also teach some beautiful life lessons. 10/10 filmed and i cried heavy cause i thought something was gonna happen to Junkers 😢
Ohh I remember being a little girl with issues at home. Then I got this tiny schnauzer puppy. She was my bestfriend, always anywhere I went. This brought so many memories back of her. She was my reason to go through the hard days, she was a bundle of joy

Normally I'm not into movies with subtitles, but this was on my recommendations list, and I thought it looked cute. I'm a bit animal love so seeing Jankers I thought, a cute dog movie this should be fun. At first I thought it was a short film no more than 5 minutes long. But found out it wasn't and ended up hooked after the first five minutes, and kept watching. it was such a cute heartwarming move. and I am glad I watched the hole thing. Though it was sad near the end when Jankers couldn't talk any more after using his powers to help make the last Miracle happen. But something told me something would happen. I thought he would vanish or something, since he was a magical talking dog. But I'm glad he didn't. A beautiful touching heartwarming movie for any age I think. It doesn't matter if your 6 or 42 like me, it was a really cute movie.
I was also scared he might disappear! Especially with a title like Come Here, Junkers. ;_; But the way it was framed, leaves it open to interpretation if he really used up all his powers or if his speech was a representation of Hiromi's childhood imagination that disappeared as she came of age (similar to Kiki's Delivery Service in the original Japanese version), as it's a coming of age film. Both interpretations are valid and quite nice.
Didnt expect this movie to hit so close home, thought it was going to be a light movie with a lovely animation. The movie is very wholesome and comforting, thank you.

I love a movie that makes you want to spend your money on the production crew, if this were on cinema I'd pay to go to the cinema multiple times. This one is so good from the script, the artwork, and cinematography that it makes me feel guilty to watch it for free man :((((

My Standard Schnauzer Peppa was my first and only real friend growing up. I got her in 2001. My parents were teachers and I felt that their work at times took most of the good times away from us as a family... I really wanted to go to the same schools they worked at so I could be with them... But they didn't go through with the idea as they wanted me to have the chance to grow and try to make friends of my own.. sadly? Such never did happen. They brought Peppa into our lives to fill the void of the fact that they could not conceive again... and thus? never could be a big sister to another child of theirs. Peppa and I did everything together... She was my entire world... My bearded sister from another mister.... Sadly, we had to say our final goodbyes to her in 2018... She lived for 16 and a half years... Yet in the end? She developed Canine dementia.. and no matter what we tried? She just kept getting worse. -_-, It was inhumane to keep her alive and suffering so so much just because... I.. wasn't ready to let her go.. for the fear of being all alone once more.... I remember the day we took our final journey in the car... She rested her head against mine and hummed the softest of whines... that was to the tune of "No one has to be alone." from the land before time... (We used to watch the movies all the time.) It was then... when I knew... I was never going to forget her.. and that she would always be with me... all be it in my dreams.. until we can meet again. Knowing her was a miracle that I will never ever forget. 💖 I love Schnauzers and plan to get another in the future. A male.. named Obi Wan Kenobi (Obi for short.) They are such a gentle and good natured breed. :) The loyalty and love of a dog... in fact? Any pet... is something to be truly treasured. I now have a 6 year old Dalmatian named Perdita... and It will be the same sadness when she eventually passes away too... They are four legged miracles that mean so so much to people.
I think you'd love Mary Oliver's poems about her dogs, particularly Percy. That part about reuniting in dreams... Thank you for sharing this beautiful memory. Childhood loneliness is quite difficult, our furry friends are so precious.

Was für eine schreckliche Mutter! Erst vergisst sie den Geburtstag ihrer Tochter, dann vergisst sie Weihnachten und sogar über eine Scheidung redet sie nur am Telefon! Alleine eins von diesen dreien hätte schon genügt, um die Gefühle ihrer Tochter zu verletzen . Der Vater ist auch nicht viel besser, aber immerhin hat er an den Geburtstag gedacht. Auch wenn er Hiromi erst sehr traurig machte, indem er vorgab, es vergessen zu haben. Und zum Schluss sagt die Mutter ihrer Tochter noch, dass sie über ihre Gefühle reden soll. Das setzt dem ganzen noch die Krone auf🤬! Denn sie hat doch die ganze Zeit impliziert, dass ihre Tochter ein starkes Mädchen sein muss!
Okay, so when I clicked on this video and saw it was a full-length movie, I googled the title: "Junkers Come Here." (Which, for some reason I misread as "Junkers Come Home.") So I went into this thinking it was going to be one of those movies where the pet gets lost and has to find his way home. In no way was I expecting it to be about a miracle-granting talking dog and a lonely little girl just wanting the love of her busy parents. Pleasantly surprised, though. Very cute movie.

幼少にこのアニメを見た時はユンカースが喋らないということが切なくて切なくてどうしようもなかったけど、大人になって見返してみると最後の終わり方は彼は言葉があってもなくても変わらず彼であるということが分かって、やっぱり切なさは残るけど晴れやかな気持ちも持てる

色々あって引きこもってた時に、うちにシュナウザーが来て、毎日一緒にいてくれたな。泣いてる時も何も言わずにずっとそばにいてくれたなあ。
その子のおかげで今、一髪奮起して上京して大学にも行けてる。
大学の休みの度にその子に会うために実家に帰ってる。
もう少しで4年間の大学生活が終わるから、地元で就職してその子と過ごせるの嬉しい。
ユンカースみたいには勿論喋れないけど、一緒にいたら声が聞こえてくるような気がする。
その子といるといつも不思議な気持ちになる。親友でもあって恋人でもあって兄弟でもあって…。とにかく大切な大切な存在

ただの広告かと思ったら見入ってしまった。ユンカースすげーや！シュナウザーの特徴もおさえてる。ユンカースの悲しいお話かと思ったら人間のお話で感動、涙ありでした。共働きの今現在の特徴をつかんでる内容かと思いました

Ohh I remember being a little girl with issues at home. Then I got this tiny schnauzer puppy. She was my bestfriend, always anywhere I went. This brought so many memories back of her. She was my reason to go through the hard days, she was a bundle of joy
I didn't realize it would be such a serious movie, I thought it was going to be a silly one with a talking dog! OH man. Cried so much. Beautiful, beautiful movie.
Normally I'm not into movies with subtitles, but this was on my recommendations list, and I thought it looked cute. I'm a bit animal love so seeing Jankers I thought, a cute dog movie this should be fun. At first I thought it was a short film no more than 5 minutes long. But found out it wasn't and ended up hooked after the first five minutes, and kept watching. it was such a cute heartwarming move. and I am glad I watched the hole thing. Though it was sad near the end when Jankers couldn't talk any more after using his powers to help make the last Miracle happen. But something told me something would happen. I thought he would vanish or something, since he was a magical talking dog. But I'm glad he didn't.
A beautiful touching heartwarming movie for any age I think. It doesn't matter if your 6 or 42 like me, it was a really cute movie.
I was also scared he might disappear! Especially with a title like Come Here, Junkers. ;_; But the way it was framed, leaves it open to interpretation if he really used up all his powers or if his speech was a representation of Hiromi's childhood imagination that disappeared as she came of age (similar to Kiki's Delivery Service in the original Japanese version), as it's a coming of age film. Both interpretations are valid and quite nice.
最後の方で出てきたシュワちゃん似のホテルの支配人は笑えるわ😂

My dog died of cancer last June. He was only 11. I understand how you feel. It really sucks.
My dog past away when she was one from something we don't know but it made her not able to move and it was painless for her but it was sudden

I love a movie that makes you want to spend your money on the production crew, if this were on cinema I'd pay to go to the cinema multiple times. This one is so good from the script, the artwork, and cinematography that it makes me feel guilty to watch it for free man :((((

My Standard Schnauzer Peppa was my first and only real friend growing up. I got her in 2001. My parents were teachers and I felt that their work at times took most of the good times away from us as a family... I really wanted to go to the same schools they worked at so I could be with them... But they didn't go through with the idea as they wanted me to have the chance to grow and try to make friends of my own.. sadly? Such never did happen. They brought Peppa into our lives to fill the void of the fact that they could not conceive again... and thus? never could be a big sister to another child of theirs. Peppa and I did everything together... She was my entire world... My bearded sister from another mister....
Sadly, we had to say our final goodbyes to her in 2018... She lived for 16 and a half years... Yet in the end? She developed Canine dementia.. and no matter what we tried? She just kept getting worse. -_-, It was inhumane to keep her alive and suffering so so much just because... I.. wasn't ready to let her go.. for the fear of being all alone once more.... I remember the day we took our final journey in the car... She rested her head against mine and hummed the softest of whines... that was to the tune of "No one has to be alone." from the land before time... (We used to watch the movies all the time.) It was then... when I knew... I was never going to forget her.. and that she would always be with me... all be it in my dreams.. until we can meet again. Knowing her was a miracle that I will never ever forget. 💖
I love Schnauzers and plan to get another in the future. A male.. named Obi Wan Kenobi (Obi for short.) They are such a gentle and good natured breed. :)
The loyalty and love of a dog... in fact? Any pet... is something to be truly treasured. I now have a 6 year old Dalmatian named Perdita... and It will be the same sadness when she eventually passes away too... They are four legged miracles that mean so so much to people.
I think you'd love Mary Oliver's poems about her dogs, particularly Percy. That part about reuniting in dreams...

Was für eine schreckliche Mutter! Erst vergisst sie den Geburtstag ihrer Tochter, dann vergisst sie Weihnachten und sogar über eine Scheidung redet sie nur am Telefon! Alleine eins von diesen dreien hätte schon genügt, um die Gefühle ihrer Tochter zu verletzen . Der Vater ist auch nicht viel besser, aber immerhin hat er an den Geburtstag gedacht. Auch wenn er Hiromi erst sehr traurig machte, indem er vorgab, es vergessen zu haben.
Und zum Schluss sagt die Mutter ihrer Tochter noch, dass sie über ihre Gefühle reden soll. Das setzt dem ganzen noch die Krone auf🤬! Denn sie hat doch die ganze Zeit impliziert, dass ihre Tochter ein starkes Mädchen sein muss!

Okay, so when I clicked on this video and saw it was a full-length movie, I googled the title: "Junkers Come Here." (Which, for some reason I misread as "Junkers Come Home.") So I went into this thinking it was going to be one of those movies where the pet gets lost and has to find his way home. In no way was I expecting it to be about a miracle-granting talking dog and a lonely little girl just wanting the love of her busy parents. Pleasantly surprised, though. Very cute movie.
