My dad bought nothing but Ford trucks from the 1960's onward. rode in a truck like that many a time in my younger life . Dad used to say "if you want to make $$$$$ with your truck, buy a Ford"
These old ford's all had their issues. Some were extremely reliable and tough as nails. Other years as you got into late 70s did some unusual things. I saw some of these Riggs last well over 20 years.
I was driving my beloved VW Passat R36 with its low front bumper towards the bank to withdraw all my cash, when a smoking Ranger with road presentation zoomed past me and accidentally crushed a pair of vise grips on the road. Despite the minor incident, I continued on my journey, enjoying the scenic views and the feeling of the wind in my hair. Thanks for reading my comment despite the fact it doesn’t have many likes.
In January 1972 we were in the depths of Michigan’s winter. I was driving down the street one day with deep snow on both sides and I had just about had enough of all this GD snow & ice & cold. We all came to a stoplight in front of a Ford dealership. I looked onto their lot & there sat a brand new 1972 F100 4X4. I pulled out of line & drove into the lot & gave the truck the once over. It was F100, 4X4, regular cab, long styleside bed, world famous 300 cid I-6 engine with 4 speed granny box trans. I was thinking this would be just the truck to get me about Detroits slippery snow & ice covered streets & I could put a blade on front & make some side money scraping parking lots of snow. Window sticker? $3600.00 !
I know you guys said not to give you a hard time about the year but unless someone changed all the chrome down the side, installed the badges in the factory location and all that it’s not a 67. Plus the only FE available in 67 was a 352 and it has 390 badges
Two things about this video. 1 Road Kill is Mike and David not David and Steve that's Road Kill Garage and 2 unless somebody swapped the doors on that truck It ain't no 1967 Ford F-250 or anything 1967 Ford. My Late Dad bought a brand new 1967 Ford F-100 Camper Special and this is a one year only deal. The 67's did Not have door lock buttons on them which makes it impossible to lock yourself out of a 1967 Ford F-100, F-250 or a F-350. And I was with my Dad when he bought the truck. I also have right now a1967 Ford F-100 SWB. that I bought off of the original owner and it does Not have door lock buttons. If they are gonna post something at least get it right Geeze Louise. It's not that hard to fact check.
IKR and it has the "Ranger" badge on the side. Hmmm, did someone put a ranger body on a highboy? Is that a thing? Glad I wasn't the only person who spied that nice catch 😎👍
It is a ford ranger,, it’s an appearance package,,, like the newer dentside has an explorer package in I think 75 and 76, may be wrong in years ,,, lime green body is highly optioned
Bring back full episodes!

about the average price for an american vehicle at that time.
To the classics
Nice truck
Still waiting for the episode that finally shows the replacement for the Mazdarati, Finn said that this new season we will see it.
Ford F.E. the "grandfather" to the LS.
Where was that yard looked like a lot of classic cars
Growing up my uncle had a 250 with a 460, it would light up the tires in all 4 gears. I remember my first time driving it, the torque was insane 😂
Pop Pop, its ok, Pop lets getting going :)
that truck has a dana 24 transfer case not a 205 the 24 is a divorced unit the 205 is mated
The 205 was not a mated unit until the late 70s
@@benjamincochran6355 dang I always forget about that 205 for some reason
Lot of those in Washington state setting in backyards
RIP Faster with Finnegan. Just watched the first episode without Mike and it wasn’t the same. There is no way it will get another season.

1967 woul have a Dana/Spicer 25 T-case
No,, model 24
Well that was short. May be you guys could put in a little longer day next time 😉. Thanks for sharing, I guess 😜.

New bed new fenders doors and grill ,, on a holly green 1967 cab,
You can see the inside of doors do not match the rest of interior

In the full episode they say that that is what happened and the VIN shows it to be a ‘67
the doors appear to be 71 or 72 sport custom doors also the rear view mirror is different and so are the heater controls on a 67
The cab only appears to be a 1967,,, inside is holly green witch does not match the rest of truck or interior of doors
I LOVE IT!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, I LOVE HANGING WITH MY HOT ROD FAMILY!!!
Is there no way to see these outside of US? I'd really like to watch motd, but it's impossible from outside the US :(
Should call it the wreaktum ranger
that truck had a body swap.
Need's electronic Dist and MSD box

Another short clip to...just make us sign up........
When are we allowed to get content in Australia? Why are we being punished? Thanks MotorTrend!

It's a 67 with a 69 front clip!
Doors and bed also,, inside of cab is dark green not matching doors
That’s not a ford ranger I did not see a ford ranger at all in this video what’s wrong with the title lol
IKR and it has the "Ranger" badge on the side.

Yes it is a ranger body,,, it’s an appearance package as is the sport custom and custom cab

@@northwestlogtrucker4691 the truck is an f250 did you not hear when he said it’s f250 with a ranger body that still don’t make it a ranger ?
