The tutorial made easy work of the job. I tried my best on my back to mark where the existing bolts were mounted and marked its location, scribed that onto the new NSS. When I installed it, again on my back, something shifted. So my initial start didnt happen in nuetral. I fixed the rotation of the NSS and now it fires up in P and N but I have a check engine light on now, from what ive read because neutral was not recognized. How do I remedy the check engine light? Also important to note, this change made the shifting very easy and positive at the shift lever compared to difficult/sticky/crunchy/vague before the new part was installed. Thanks!

After I adjusted the neutral safety switch to the correct position, the check engine light went off after maybe 10 miles of driving. Now its smooth and so far so good. Thanks

Is this the same as a 2011 f150? My truck won't start when the indicator doesn't show its in park. I been at this issue for weeks and just came across this solution. I'm excited. I hope this fixes the issue.

The shaft from the transmission now spins because it was so tight when taking off neutral switch.do you know if i can take the trans pan off and put back in place.I hope i didnt ruin the trans.
