Well depending on where your at and what your looking for, olive of sculpin olive are my go to colors when its not cloudy and the water is clear, black if its cloudy, days with higher temps like short sleeve t shirt days silver or white might be the ticket. i would always suggest starting out with the lightest jig you have if your fishing in a river, if you don't hit the bottom go a little heavier. hope this help you find the them.
@@outdoorswithjustin I went out today and tried every color i have olive, black, brown, gray, and sum with mixed colors and only caught a sucker can you point me in the right direction on how to get more bites
@@duran7592 hmmm, some times i have to retrieve it really slow i mean like dragging the bottom. not getting to the bottom or going to fast on retrieve are usually the main things. Some times they want smaller jigs like 1/32oz. find a nice deep hole in the river and work from the shallow water into the deep, there is also casting down stream too and working the current back to you. so many things, i always feel like im bass fishing for trout.
Love the vids
Thank you
