Ahh, remember back in the days when worlds would have 80+ lots and players hadn't gaslit themselves into thinking that "12 lots is the correct amount or else the game will literally burst into flames."
Honestly growing together breaking my game for a month was the best thing that happened to me cause ive been playing the sims 3 and ive rediscovered my love for it ❤ i adore this game
Yes! I've gone back to sims 3 about a year ago and I'm still finding things I never did before or never noticed and I got Sims 3 when it first came out.

This + Sims Medieval spin off have always been my favorite. ♡ I miss having Medieval sims things without having to download a bunch of CC to make it happen!

There was a black dragon too. I believe it came with the Renaissance Faire lot. I loved the black dragon because it could summon death flowers. Also, the interactions you use when you talk to the dragon eggs determine what colour dragon you get.

About the flying: you have to be outdoors on a lot, not in the middle of the road or forest lol

the pack itself might not come with that much gameplay, but it goes SO WELL with Supernatural - it's basically an additional world for a once upon a time fever dream, it offers fairy tale/medieval/royalty gameplay on a silver plate and that's why i love it so much, i think combined with supernatural it brings a lot of potential plot to your gameplay without needing CC or mods. my favourite save file of all time is a witch/vampire family set in dragon valley, i had so much fun with it.
I love how he treated dragon eggs like happy meal, buying a lot of them to get the one he wants. Also I didn't have money for sims 3 either as a kid, good thing I still found a way to play with all dlcs ;)

Dragon valley is my favorite gimmicky-themed town in ts3.. i have a save file thats 7 generations deep from that town, theyve grown into royalty and its been sooo fun. The Mithrilens, and siobahn murphy were some of my fav pre made sims from this town, they caused lots of problems for my family lol 💚

IIRC there is a secret room under the library in Dragon Valley were you can actually find a dragon egg without having to buy one from the build mode. They can also be found around town, which I think is how you got the 2nd one in your inventory, your sim picked it up in the cemetery.

i only own sims 3 generations and now im considering buying dragon valley and pets for my next packs. been obsessed wit sims 4 and i heard sims 3 is wayy better and i would like to play it to its full potential with more packs :)
get all the packs from fitgirl. theres also an option to also include store content so you ca. get everything for free. no point in paying ea

My favorite lot in Dragon Valley is MacCaffery's Pub. Because Anne MacCaffrey wrote a series of books with DRAGONS called the Dragon Riders of Pern, which I have read several times. The first time I played Dragon Valley I was so excited to see it.
there is also an armored black dragon you get when you get the gold version of this world that also comes with the celtic lands set, and some other stuff
This reminds me of TS1 expansion Makin' Magic - you could buy a dragon egg from a vampiress there and hatch the egg at home. And you could put headphones on the egg so incubating dragons can listen to music while they wait for hatching. I remember red and purple dragons also being there.

I actually bought a physical copy of this pack, but I couldn't get it to work so seeing the gameplay is really fun. And with our usual dose of Satch chaos lol.
The Sims 4 being safe is so true though. Like I'd love to undermine a charity! It's really hard to make total a-hole sims. Keeping the game so safe is also really limiting when it comes to general storytelling. At least we have mods 🥲 feel bad for console players though
There's a few places online where you can grab less legal copies of s3 store content. Since you've already paid for it I think you should be able to download that guilt free, since EA couldn't be arsed to give you something that works
don't feel bad about us console players, I uninstalled sims 4 after that growing limbs together update 😂

I remember loving It in 3 but it was glitched for me.
We have many little towns and villages still looking medieval in France. I just love these towns cause they are so « natural » and you can feel the historical legacy. I suppose it’s the same in many european countries.

That’s how I would feel if maxis released a new generation of a Sims Medieval while we wait for sims 5. I think if done right, I might forget about the crap that they’re feeding us through Sims 4 right now…
Sadly at this point I don’t trust the Sims Team would do a good job if they tried to make another Sims medieval. The would find some new way to miss the mark and disappoint us:(

Oooh Dragon valley was my absolute favourite thing! I played pretty much all my families in there and it was perfect.
There really hasn't been anything like it since, like a world that's legitimately set in a fantasy or historical setting completely. RoM has the woodsy place but that still has like roads and cars and stuff, and the magic realm isn't liveable, and I had really high hopes for Windenburg but even that has a hypermodern district (I mean, I love it, but it's not very immersive for historical gameplay).
Nowadays I mostly use Henford on Bangly, but like even the village square has certain modern aspects. There is just no equivalent to the perfection of Dragon Valley as a setting!

IIRC depending on what you talked to the dragons about, it influenced their color, much like eating watermelon v. apples influenced boy v. girl in the SIMS3. But it's been a while so that might not be correct.

I know this have been considered the "worst expansion pack" for The Sims 3 in general but I can't deny it's better than most of the worst sims 4 expansion packs combined.
