@@JAYYBLAZINN I have a theory that ever since 3D gaming became the norm, graphics were the only real way to innovate. Ever since then, most advances in computing have been what bigger graphics card they came out with lately, and everything else improves just to serve the graphics card lol The TV industry is similar. Now the only innovation is getting the TV's to 16K or whatever it is they're working on now that 8K is a thing lol

The secret to saving Sims 3 is using "save as" instead of save. Rename the save something different each time, and it prevents the bloating of the file. Also, I'd like to see Psycho Susie pull pranks on the neighbors - egg their houses or flaming poo. Love your videos.

Honestly I've always heard the same for TS4, as well - it's safer to do 'save as' instead of just hitting 'save'. Some things never change in this franchise, lmao
I'm watching this after Growing Together was released and the Sims 4 could still literally never.
Having recently gone back to Sims 3 (because all over "Sims 4 could never") I have found that minimal cc makes it run better. The Sims 3 is sooooo big when you have all packs that having a lot of cc seriously slows it down. I did an experiment and removed ALL cc and I could not believe the difference, especially in cas.
Shop Club is probably a mechanical skill club. Some American schools have 'Shop' class, like woodshop or metal shop -- it's a building class, and kids learn how to make a birdhouse or a mail box, basic construction skills.
It's for handiness skill.
Sims 3 sims are SO obsessed with outdoor water items. They do the same thing with sprinklers! I got to where I put them in a shed without a door when not using them. 😩
Honestly the waterslide in TS4 causes my sims to do the same. Sims just freaking LOVE watersports...wait...

I do remember in sims 3 with learning how to drive sometimes the teen would brake very abruptly and drive very slow. I thought that was a cute detail.
Shop Class (maybe just in US) was in Jr High (for us) and we made stuff, like at the Woodworking table in Sims 4, only using a lot of power tools (minimally supervised, it was the 80s) We made lots of different projects with wood and plastics. It was a lot of fun! Love this series!
the parenthood pack, high school years pack, kids and toddlers stuff packs, and the new growing together pack combined will still not be as cool as generations was imo
I once had a save with 5 teens and one elderly caregiver... The vacation prompt would come up so much, at some point, it was every few days (in game) and the romances and heartbreaks that happened at these parties were chaotic but I loved it.
The parenting features in this game are unmatched dhahah
My Sims son went to prom & got arrested for breaking curfew when he left😂
He was driven home in a police car & everything!

Best feature. I'm not good at loving 2 kids equally, so I always ended up choosing which one will grow up to be successful, and send the other one away lol

hey there, love your vids. in America in middle and high school you can take classes called electives. these are classes that are not part of the regular curriculum, but are meant to expand on arts and creative development. Shop class is short for Workshop, which is where kids can take classes in wood work and use power tools, with guidance. the exciting 80s-90s, where there was a chance you could chop your finger off at school, or make a cool birdhouse. :)

I once had the parents at my household sent to a vacation and then they just never came back.. idk if it was a glitch or if bad things could possibly happen to them cuz I can’t really remember but the teen, toddler and kid had to live alone after the “disappearance” of their parents :(

It's videos like this that make me question why people say Sims 3 Sims are smarter than Sims 4 Sims. I don't think I've had TS4 Sims just stand around or go nuts on a waterslide all day before. Also don't know what happened with that policeman going for the chess grand master title.

I have pets installed and yesterday I found out that there's a horseman career but you need ambition. So I installed it but from origin, my main sims 3 gane and other expansion packs are from steam, is there a way to get ambition to my main Sim game from steam so I can play it⁉️⁉️

I have a question ! If any kind soul could answer. They made the Sims 3 able to run on Mac right? Then why I can’t I install it on mine? The sims 3 is in my library’s with Details across the cover.
I’m not sure if they recently discontinued it or something because I have a MacBook also & recently when I was shopping for new packs for my Sims 4 through Origin, I noticed Sims 3 didn’t show up on the list like it usually does.
