Once i almost had a perfect wedding on the Sims 4
Everyone sat and watched the wedding, then the couple cut the cake. Everyone seemed to be having fun... And then the groom's father died.
Still my most successful wedding in the Sims
My first wedding went pretty well except for the fact that mortier goth died in front of everyone before the start of the wedding and everyone was crying 😭

@@sophiedi.2413 It’s the same in Europe, what are you implying here. Therapists take min 5 months waiting for a maximum 10 sessions with someone who couldn’t care less, or you go private and can’t afford it even though they don’t care either.

@@Liusila I love how people say "It's the same in Europe" as if every European country works the same way lol, I'm sorry it's so bad in the European country you live in, but it's not so bad everywhere (though I agree about long waiting times for the first session)

Btw satch: Usually the best way to get sims to gather for the wedding without glitches is to get them to "go here" near the weddinf arch and THEN get married. Tends to work best in my experience

In sims 3 there was a playpen for toddlers that was wonderfully glitched. It perpetually upped all needs for toddlers. I would just stick them in for the entire age down without having to feed or talk to them.
Edit- I know that it was actually an EA Store Item.
I didn’t usually have a lot of money at any given time, so I bought mini game items for play. I only had one or two expansion packs in all my time.

Baby rocking swing chair, playpen, and walker- easiest way to get sims baby skills up 😂

I don't know if is just me, buy I get the impression that the sims' faces are much more realistic here, as opposed to the sims 4, where they appear more "plasticky".

I am suddenly remembering why my Sims have always just eloped wherever they're standing lol Weddings have aaaaaaalways been a gigantic pain in the ass. But to be fair, I don't really value the whole wedding thing in real life either cause that also seems like a giant pain in the ass. I'd be happy eloping in my kitchen like I do with my sims lmao

Oh yes, once I had a genie in my family, he can add inactive sims to my family for 4 hours, he succeeded and all I had to do was cancel the action! I still don't understand why the game still glitches with this

Was it the Sims 3 or the Sims 2 where you could put babies down on the floor? I remember having this massive house and not having the slightest clue where the baby was because they wouldn't stop putting her on the floor and walking off
Both actually 😂 I love having babies be like that though, you could put them in swings and play mats
In TS2 you can "lose" babies on the ground outside underneath deep snow 🙈 it's perfectly chaotic

Ok, really sorry if this comes off a bit rough. And there are tons of glitches in TS4 that I am also super annoyed with. BUT - if people hate the game so much, why keep playing it? If someone likes sims 1/2/3 more, then why not go back to that? :) Why keep complaining that one product is not to your liking, if there is another there is? Games are just like clothes. Some you will like, some you will not. Just buy the ones you like, and don't buy the ones you don't like. It is of course nice if the closing brand decide to listen to you, and design a whole line that suits your personal taste. But they are technically not obliged to do it. Then you will need to go to a different brand that offers something you like, or find a personal designer to create your clothing.
Don't get me wrong, I get super frustrated as well. But no-one is forcing you to play. And you can't just demand a company to give you what you would like. It doesn't work that way. And a lot of people seem to have forgotten.
Unfortunately the original Sims 1, and Sims 2, are no longer available for purchase. So if someone wanted to play it they’d have to find a copy somewhere. (Unless the previously had owned it of course.)
Many people actually still play it, and prefer to do so.
The Sims 3 also has coding issues, and doesn’t run very well. It tends to make computers overheat very easily.
Though people still choose to play it, and many enjoy it much more than the Sims 4.
People tend to still go for the Sims 4, because it has no competition on the market to go for.
I personally love the CAS features in the Sims 4, and building is a dream come true!
But the actual gameplay is very lacking, and is missing many features that the previous games had. (While also charging 10x the price!)
I can’t play it for more than an hour without mods. It’s extremely boring.
I think people just keep hoping it’s going to get better, or the franchise that people have been so loyal to will listen to them. (Though I doubt that’s going to happen.)
And similar to what I previously stated, I think people love the CAS and Build portions of the game.
Just not the actual gameplay.
It is a game that’s pretty good for a younger demographic, like, Rated E10 levels. (Which is slightly odd, considering it’s Rated T.)
How can The Sims 3 still cost about 20 dollars when TS4 is going free?
EA knows that if they make TS3 free, everyone is gonna switch from TS4 and never come back 😂
