I didn’t get to play TS3 Showtime growing up, so when I recently got it I was shocked. It is so much fun! You can actually put up a band when you’re at the singing career. Honestly it’s humiliating that the TS4 celebrity pack doesn’t have more careers like singers and even models
But wasn’t the fame/celebrity system introduced in Sims 3: Late Night, not showtime? 🤔 I think they could still add singing careers and such to sims 4 in a future pack. I’m not sure why everyone says these careers should’ve been part of Sims 4 Get Famous when it wasn’t even in the same pack in sims 3.
@@Tanya-fm4nx yes, they are different packs on both TS3 and 4. My point is that they jammed three entertainment careers in TS3 and then an acting career in the night life pack. TS4 get famous was released in 2018 with a lousy world and only one entertainment career - which is pretty good, tbh, but the pack overall is very disappointing. Ofc EA could release new entertainment careers but I personally don’t look forward to new releases since the Wedding Stories disaster, so good luck to anyone who is still waiting anything worth our money for the Sims franchise!
@@Tanya-fm4nx thats because for TS3 celebs weren't the only thing offered in Late Night packs. It came with a giant expansive city that came with varying types of clubs, vampires, new instruments and he ability to have a band and preform, etc. In the sims4 you just get celebs and a "city" where there's not much to do in. TS3 a fun feature is trying to get into clubs by bribing, fighting or flirting with the guards. Sims4 doesnt really have stuff like that. Sims4 is a pale imitation of BOTH Late Night and ShowTime. LateNight and Showtime also go incredibly well together but still offer so much content alone that if you have one you aren't really missing out too much. Where Sims4 ppl buy every pack because the basegame is boring with no content and the packs have so little content you need almost all of them just to have a fun experience with the game (lets be honest mods are the ONLY thing keeping Sims4 alive)
Even though Sims3 is laggy...I do miss Open World. It felt so nice to be able to just follow your sims as they had adventures all across town. There's so much stuff I miss from the older games like cemeteries and grocery shopping. I do hope that the Sims 5 will learn from all the player feedback and provide a more epic experience.
Did anyone notice when you listen to songwriter on the radio on sims 4, it's basically sims 3 music artist who made it? (if you ever had your sim that chose the singing career), I like to imagine my sim who succeeded made it and has her music playing on the radio :)

Speaking of bookcases that don't fill or empty as books are put in, I was really hoping that this would happen with the fabricated bookcase in TS4: Eco Lifestyle since it _has no books in it,_ but oh no. Clearly it's a terrifying mass of ovals with an invisible void portal in it for books... 😒
I'm so sAD I bought this pack and it's glitch where you can't hear them sing. And believe me I tried everything. I'm so sad because I really loved everything about the pack
