I literally know dozens of people who got hired by Republic. Their interview consisted of a phone call that asked, “When can you start?” If you have the time and no major felony, they’ll hire you.
Do you fly for republic? I’ve been flying corporate for the past 4 years, and decided to go airlines. I have an interview with them on Monday. I’m trying to get an idea of QOL for pilots.
@@corporate_flyerguy6708 No, I’m with a major. If I were you, I’d apply to Spirit, Allegiant, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest etc. Many pilots are leaving the LCCs to go fly for the Legacies. So, it’s pretty easy to get on. And QOL/pay would be much better than Republic.
I don't like the way people act that become Pilots. Because it's a blue collar trade very similar to truck driving because they use log books and they both have to have a medical card . But these people walk around like they've got a 25-year degree from harvard. They try to act up and I don't like the fact that they hire a bunch of women. It's a blue collar trade like truck driving and I like when truck drivers transition over because the personalities are so much more to adapt to
Great insight. This guy was so down to earth.

I’ve been preparing for the interview for the cadet program so your saying they don’t go in depth with the questions? Just curious lol
@@LukeStAubin For any qualified pilot, the interview is usually one question. When can you start?
