LADIES AND GENTLEMEN HES BACK!!!
To get hired at skywest all you have to do is apply and show up to the interview. It's never been so easy to find work in aviation.
Do you work for Skywest? I had quite an extensive interview with them. It wasn't easy.
When are you releasing the follow up parts? Lesson 2, 3, 4, etc…
Sorry, I didn't film the other lessons!
Which event was this? I wonder if it is a very recent or an older video that was only recently uploaded. Either way, thanks for posting it.
At Oshkosh late July 2024.
Notes of a seaplane instructor is the best book about float flying. Chapter 7, 8, and 9 are pure gold.

I don't like the way people act that become Pilots. Because it's a blue collar trade very similar to truck driving because they use log books and they both have to have a medical card . But these people walk around like they've got a 25-year degree from harvard. They try to act up and I don't like the fact that they hire a bunch of women. It's a blue collar trade like truck driving and I like when truck drivers transition over because the personalities are so much more to adapt to
"I don't like the fact that they hire a bunch of women" yikes!

$36/hour? Their website says first officers start at $105/hr…
They raised pay....
@@Hedgeflexlfz they tripled their pay in under two years? lol….
Weird when you see a dude like this shilling so hard.
Pay is 91 now for first year FO. How times change
Mesa is owned by one of the of the biggest dirt bags in the country and he treats his pilots like dirt. I would rather work at WalMart
great video
Fun eh? Something I've noticed: every single instructor says stick full back until the nose won't rise any higher (second rise) and only then relax back pressure or push it over. I found pretty early on that this makes the takeoff longer than it needs to be. Try this: stick back (or if calm, neutral), full throttle, once spray into the prop no longer an issue, neutral stick. The nose will rise and the floats will climb over the hump all on their own, sometimes a bit of forward stick needed to help onto the step. Forcing the heels into the water with back pressure just extends the run. Very new to this myself(180 water takeoffs and landings) so still lots to learn though!
I'm ready to apply.
This is a treasure trove of insight. Thank you for sharing this video.
What conference/job fair did you get all these videos from?
recruiters, they all tell you what you wanna hear!!
No DUI at all or not in the past 10 years؟!
How to get hired at Mesa? Here, fog this mirror. Ringringring.... "hello is this Johnny Pilot? Hi, Sandy with Mesa Air. We see you submitted an application on airlineapps... I'm calling to offer you a class date..."
Not today. Class dates are delayed. And with Mesa's leading pay, jobs are harder to get.

8:28 Yeeeeeeeaaaaahhh bout those pay scales...
post more videos bruh!
1500 hours to fly a King air?! 🤣
This 1500 hour thing is annoying…. In Europe and Asia , each airline can determine what hours they want, there is no exact figure… emirates is 2000 , BA regional airline 500 etc… but for u.s 1500… am just gonna do a part 135 and get out. I could be a captain outside the United States within that 2 years without instructing students in some flight school for 1500 to get to regions . Anyway am off
However your pay tanks. Compare regional airlines pay as of sept 22 to other airlines of Canada and Europe and you will understand why he 1500 hr rule is so substanyial.
Have your hours and have a pulse these days.
Would they hire a 57 year old with those times?
most definitely
This is the professional image Mesa is trying to showcase? A t-shirt and a beard? Nice.
Who cares?
$45 an hour sucks
It’s 90 an hour to start now
@user-wo8kx8wh2sno you don’t

I like her. She is a pilot not an HR Talking Head.....................
I see what you mean. I can’t stand women who only want to complain about how hard it is for them. When they get special treatment and they always demand more because some guy said something. Most women aren’t like that. But a handful of them are and it’s annoying. Most of the talking heads are like that though.
Right, I like that she wasn't just coming up with typical canned responses.
Can someone explain what the pay numbers he was talking about mean? 46-06??
$46.06 per hour
@@flynniethepilot any per-diem?

It's a shame that after all the work and experience, our career decisions have to be "managed" by people like this.
