I’m just heartsick for this man. He was trying to keep himself composed in the video where you purchased the unit. You always have to wonder, what caused this to happen. I mean the majority of that stuff looks like memorabilia, more than anything. That shotgun is definitely an heirloom gun. I could never do this type of work. Gosh i feel so sorry for that man that lost all that stuff. I know how much old stuff would mean to me. You could hear his voice at the end of the other video. Clearly tore up but just wanted his paperwork... I would definitely let him have a few person so belongings. My heart is so huge though and I believe in the dramatic energies of the world. I would hate to have something happen to my stuff and then someone buy all my sentimental things and say screw off its mine now sucker. But then again the universe will repay them for their kindness or lack thereof. You guys are amazing for considering giving him some of his belongings. I definitely would after everything he had. Losing belongings is like losing a piece of your life . Espeically thousands of dollars worth.

    • @ablemagawitch

That Browning A-5 was more a family heirloom gun than a gun someone buys to have a new gun or to get a shotgun. That is sad for him losing some the family stuff. The returning paperwork and pictures which hold no monetary value is high value gift to the person . One that can't be measured since photo are are irreplaceable most of the time.

Nice find! The shotgun you found is a Browning A5. They are still in production today and are highly sought after. 1st thing you want to do is research the serial number to determine age and potential value. 2nd take it to a knowledgeable gunsmith for cleaning and evaluating and possible repair. Once you've done these things, you can make a decision about whether or not you keep or sell. Either way, it's a win! Again, congratulations!

Just polymer so it can be formed with a hollow cavity inside to store everything and be lightweight. It has to be able to float if dropped in the water and wood and water don't mix. Jeeze people calm down and read. On Killing is the title of a very important book by Dave Grossman (a friend of mine). It chronicles his work on understanding how people react in war when it comes to killing. Dave Grossman was an Army Ranger and is a Psychologist. On Killing is on the required reading list at the FBI Academy. His research has been very important in understanding that most people are hesitant to take another humans life.

Gerber knife sharpener most likely. - Why would you throw throwing stars at the gun crate you're raving about? I'd also make sure the guy got back all those empty gun boxes - they have serial numbers on them typically so they are married to his guns. Photos, and other paperwork would go to the owner if I could do this.

That depends. If it is 16 gauge or 12 gauge. 16 gauge and it's a Sweet 16. However the line of shotguns that it is a part of is the Auto 5 line. If it's 12 gauge then it's either a Light 12 or Heavy 12.
