  • Gambled $5,000 for these TRUNKS in abandoned storage wars unit
In this episode @lockernuts and storage auction pirate team up to buy an amazing unit. We went deep and gambled $5000 for this abandoned storage unit. Sitting for 29 years and covered in dust this real storage unit was one for the record books. Why i love storage units, and storage lockers.

This was a US miliatry officer you had Lieutenant, Captain, and Major ranks in the trunk along with many service ribbons, and patches.
Fun Fact: White sash with the red arrow is called the Arrow of Light; the highest award given in Boy Scouts; rarely achieved by most.

    • @jodysbabiie25
      @jodysbabiie25 2 года назад +2

No it's a sash for order of the arrow. The honor society of boyscouts. Arrow of light is what you get when you cross from cub scouts to boyscouts

@@jodysbabiie25 It was called the arrow of light when I was in Boyscouts, but you are right as I seen it has changed over the years.

If his family is watching they know a real loss. This man appears to have been a real hero. A life time of service to our country.
It's a shame his family didn't get his life in boxes.
The stamps are extremely valuable. I wonder if he wasn't collecting for his descendents.
    God bless.

The family that just let this stuff go couldn't have thought or maybe really didn't care that this was this mans legacy in the trunks. And WHAT A LEGACY! He was a athlete and a Vet. He had many medals and just the evidence of an amazing life of accomplishments. Makes me wonder if the family isn't really able or who knows but this is stuff that should have been heralded. IMHO.

He went from a Boy Scout all the way to a Major {at a minimum} in the Armed Forces. Each little pin on the service bar, as I remember, 4 years and so on. He served a very long time. I hope he got to come home and retire.

  • @bluelady111

Look like someone, as mentioned, was in army or so. After retirement he probably put all his stuffs in here. I don't think he had someone to inherited him, that why he moved his belongings in this storage.
Also, he was collector, and those two trunks seems they were his, I can say, cabinet that used in war to store his stuff.
He was able to pay for the storage until there was no money in his account. Probably he survived to age he no longer remembers or care.
    Very sad man.

Wow, he was Air Force before it was called the Air Force; Major (gold leaves). Also, he the Provost Marshal over all the Military Police (USA) & Special Police (USAF) in his command. That was too cool. I was USA and loved it! The silver container with the stamps was what military forms were carried when on patrol in the Special Police (USAF) and for the Military Police (USA) as well. He chose to keep his collection in it.

I think I recognized the picture (one of them, in Pirates trunk) of an old man sitting on an old couch with a woman, with a doorframe over their right shoulder! Can you see if the names of Ralph & Evelyn are on the back of the picture? Looks like my Grandparents living room from the 50s-60s! They lived in the Carson Valley area, & my Great Uncle was an Engineer with the City of Redding, Ca.

Don't sell the boy scout items too cheaply, with all the crap they are going through, there organization is going belly up. That will make the older things priceless.
I'm also proud of you. You make mistakes, sometimes very costly, but you also learn from them. Never the same one twice. I have watched you learn so much about the merchandise you pull out of the locker. Your amazing. Now if you would just learn the proper way to pronounce the high end items. Let's start with Louisville slugger. (Louie-ville) no s sound. Thanks and have a great day.

first time I've watched one of your videos. First time I've watched a storage unit that seems legit. I wouldn't have thought that if you'd pulled out a gold bar or something. Hope you can at least break even. You can never tell about wrapped stuff. One time an old lady wanted me to look at her rock collection. She had the most common 3 pound rocks washed and wrapped in 3 layers of paper and plastic. Only thing amazing was how well she had tried to preserve something worthless. Bet her family got a surprise when they cleaned her closet when she died. Hope that wrapped stuff is way more valuable than rocks.

Back in the early years of the Masons, they would not accept anyone Catholic, because they had to confess their sins to their priests. This is no longer true.

Masonic bodies do not ban Catholics from joining if they wish to do so. There has never been a Masonic prohibition against Catholics joining the fraternity, and some Freemasons are Catholics, despite the Catholic Church's prohibition of joining the freemasons.
