A few years back, My wife and I bought a unit in Nashville, which is about 140 miles from where I live. We found lots of great things, including a box with 70 indian head pennies from the late 1800's and some old silver coins from the same era. There was an old coat hanging across the arm of a chair in the unit. My wife found $2000,00 in the inside pocket of the coat. 20 One hundred dollar bills! Great day, great find, and a great adventure for sure.

That Olympia Beer pilsner glass in the beginning of the video was awesome. The brewery (located in Tumwater, WA) is no longer in operation. It's claim to fame was the artesian water, from the natural stream, that was used to brew the beer.
@25:18 Wade those are vintage Tony Lama boots. If we can figure out from what year. Those alone could possibly pay for your entire unit and then some. Tony Lamas are a fairly expensive boot in today's market.
Whoever ,rented this unit was definitely not poor. Definitely a Snoppy fan. This person either was very very rich or had a very high paying job and bought High quality clothes and was either going to get married got married and stored everything, while they went on a honeymoon or vacation and something happened but 35 years, the mystery is who paid for storage for 35 years and lost it. This is a case that needs investigation. Is there anything that gives some information, as to who owned the unit or what happened to the person.
With the motor cycle I was thinking the same thing. A young guy got married and he had to pack up his single life and store it away. Probably fresh out of collage. Definitely the belongings of a single male. If his music collection speaks for him he was well rounded with a wide variety of tastes.
@iamjackalope Lots of narratives...see nothing involving a woman so far...a batchelor, playbox scientist, where are the books? Collection covers lots of time. Kitchenstuff, not inspiring...clothing and jazz cool.
My mother still has that same FaRberware set also. It was off putting he kept saying FaYberware. Individual Farberware pans and skillets go for $5 and up in crappy condition so that set would be highly coveted by some people.
Check the Red Tab: Take a look at the right back pocket. Do you see our famous red tab? Is the word LEVI'S® in all capital letters, or does it have a small letter “e” instead? The Tab with LEVI'S (also known as “Big E”) means the jeans are from before 1971. Where the red Tab was considered a trademark of the 501®, the brand wanted to differentiate other kinds of Levi's® clothing - such as the fashion denim, like bell-bottoms and boot cuts, which came out in the 1960s. With that, the Levi's® orange Tab was used to set these apart
Did this guy actually look at a copy of Steely Dan's Aja and say "I don't know???". For all of you who don't want some "dude" foraging through your things in the coming years, sell them or give them to people you love BEFORE you die. Good Lord.
Red tab means "Union" made in a Unionized factory, and definitely Americsn made. Orange tab is "Non--Union", and more than likely Foreign made. Levi's used to have a quality Lifetime Warranty on Stitching and Zippers. Meaning at any time your jeans zippers broke, or seans came unstitched. You could exchange for a new pair for Life.
When I was about 10 my mom worked at Levi Strauss in Roswell NM. She was a seamstress. She didn't work there long as there were six kids in my family and my dad made her quit.. 😆 She did sew most of the clothes for us four girls though. ❤️
Love the record album names: Greatest Hits by "someone" when it clearly shows "Commodores", "Daryl Johnson" for Daryl Hall and John Oates, and "Leon Butterfly" for Iron Butterfly. You really were going through them quickly and that really shows how young you guys are. That's entertaining and GREAT. I don't think there's much money in those, but some collectors might want them. A lot of jazz in there.
I can understand him not being familiar with the groups because of age, but it is odd that he doesn’t seem to want to even read the name right in front of him. I cringed when he went over that group of albums you mentioned and fast forwarded. Agree not too much money in most that I saw in the albums. More value there to older people like me who used to own them when they first came out. Jazz stuff may be older but some were 70’s-80’s reissues.
Hi wade, the Schwinn varsity bike can go from $400 to a few thousand dollars. Depends on the age, condition etc. the model number and date code will be on a small silver sticker by the crank arm on the opposite side of the chain. It’s above the pedals on the frame of the bike
I love when wade gets excited, sometimes he forgets himself and gets a touch pushy, but when he gets thrilled it means life will be better for his family. Sides I think he likes the really cool vintage stuff. Rock on Ventures
Wade glad to see you so happy with your finds. It's a lot of money to put out on these abandoned units and you never know what you will get! and l am glad to see you have made a profit. It's all long hours for you and Ashly and to see you gain money back makes me happy because you, Ashley and Grandma sure are great people ! The best to you !!
I do know that Blind Faith is NOT a Christian band. They came out about 1968 or 69. The other albums, I recognize them, but couldn't really give you much info on them. They are mostly from the sixties and seventies, probably way before you were even born. I was born 1950 so I 've probably heard the majority of them.
That Suzuki, early 80s model will get $1,200-$2,000 in good running condition. Brothers EM-80 around $450 used, surely much more for yours. The JBL 4301B Control Monitor Speakers are apparently rare & desirable, priced on eBay at $1,550 used for the pair.
Wade if you take something like supplement or anything that helps you be that cheerful, please post it!? You have enough positive energy for 10 people! It's wonderful! 😊
Good to see you again. Got a lot of help. When you get excited you suck your breathe in deep. You might pass out . Shouldn't do that. Stay well. Hi Ashley. See ya soon.

Those Items from Sam Loeb in Decatur IL are really high quality. I live in Decatur and that was the high priced men's store in town. It closed probably 30 years ago. Exciting to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Omg we still have that same blender and its from my grandma. 😅 We bought a vinyl player recently and those Earth Wind and Fire songs that was so popular were After the love has gone, Reasons, September to name a few. Of course Beatles vinyl were collectors items too.

The items are no longer personal items when no one claims them especially after 23 years or so. I would think k that is a long time the person was given. And whoever it was must be pretty important.
Hi Wade. Nice unit. A lot of comments and this might have been mentioned but I’ll say it anyways. That soccer ball is nothing to sneeze at, probably a 75$ ball. Maybe more considering condition. Thanks for taking us along!
I dunno if it's because I'm in the UK or not, but glad to see your enthusiasm.... If it were the UK, I'd be so p!ssed I'd got such a sh!tty storage bin... I used to buy palletised good/returns and I know how hard it is to get rid... Nightmare.....
So funny to see guys that don't know some of the most popular musicians from the '60s-'70s! I guess that's fair - I don't know a lot of the current ones...
Years and years ago I lived in the Portland area. My sister babysat for a radio personality. He told us that storing your vinyl albums with the plastic wrap on them can ruin them. The plastic wrap can shrink in the heat and warp the album. Just because the plastic is still on them doesn't mean they are new.
The reason the covers are so well designed are because they actually use to pay the graphic artists $6000 a cover for the top artists. It created a great group of masters of the genre. That Beatles album and the early Michael Jackson should bring you some big bucks!
Depends of which version of the Sgt Peppers album it is. Could be anywhere from $25 to several thousand! That circular wear mark on the back and name written of the front definitely doesnt help.
I get a good laugh at you kids and how you feel about all of the things I grew up with. Wish I'd kept some things, but who's to know what the future gens would think. The albums aren't worth much so far. I would probably a couple of them but wouldn't pay more than 5 bucks for them. Some might be valuable but don't get too excited. Gotta check out part 2. Aloha for now.
The Cowboy Boots are Tony Lamas, are big with Pro Rodeo Riders. They go like $200-$400, the you have being vintage who knows. Today they advertize in Pro Rodeo magazines as well as sponsor Televised Events like PBR(Pro Bull Riders), and other Live Pro Rodeo events.
Probably a gun in the briefcase. Those suitcases were so neatly packed,as if the owner just stored for a short time. This looks like someone was going to another country, but for reason had to store until they came back. Do you every know who owned the storage unit. I wonder if the owner was a college student and stored their belongings for Summer break. and something happened but what is confusing.who paid the rental fees. So sad.
Leon Russell is my favorite. His will o wisp album was his best. My husband and I loved his song back to the islands. It came out in 1976. I was 16 years old then.
Oh my gosh, what happened to the renter 35 years . The owner either passed in prison moved and just left everything. so someone was paying. the rental fee. I had a storage for 20 years but Thank Goodness, I carried insurance. Allegedly the storage warehouse burned completely down. I did get some compensation but not worth, the real cost of my belongings. Hardly anything is made in USA, anymore. This was sad to watch because I kept wondering what happened that someone would pay rental fees for 35 years and then stop!! So did the entire family die,in an accident, plane crash etc.. That motorcycle and Scwhinn bicycle total is probably worth more than a thousand dollars.
Great video and unit! All kinds of good stuff… honestly it seems like maybe the person who owned all the stuff passed away and their loved ones packed everything up back in the 80s cause they didn’t know how to process. Either way these things will find a new home now :) and the Dust hard attack record is a killer hard rock record, the drummer is Marc Bell aka marky Ramone, pre-ramones, can’t remember value but probably a $50 record in that condition, the Gil-Scott heron and Brian Jackson is also pretty decent, maybe $50, and the John Coltrane love supreme is worth a lot of it’s a first press, judging from the era of the records it’s probably a reissue, still worth decent money.
you really have a good eye and I can tell you that most of the stuff in that time capsule is really decent - remember this is right at the tail end of when the USA still made clothes and clothing was quality, I would kill for a lot of that because most of it will never wear out compared to todays crap. everything in that locker is really also at the tail end of when things weren't crap. lots of those jackets have both a store tag and a makers tag - I am clothes collector and there are a lot of great vintage makers in there, eBay is calling...those Arrow Brigade New Old Stock shirts are bank.
I dropped a stack of plates on an asphalt tile kitchen floor in 1987 when I was washing dishes in our college family apartment as we had a baby in a walker at that time. Those plates shattered in circular shards like knives! I had to sweep, vacuum, and go over the entire floor with wet paper towels to get all the glass up. I threw the rest out and never used that brand again in my life😂. EDIT: I think mine was Correlle.. lol
Wade, do you have any idea what happened that someone would let this unit go? I mean all that jewelry, the baseball cards and some even signed paraphernalia? Its so curious?
Before a unit is up for sale the owner of the units make endless calls to the owner/family because they do not want this to happen to anyone if it could be prevented. When a person has no interest in their personal items it is no longer viewed as personal items.
The guy paid storage for 35 years and quit. 90% chance he died and the family knew nothing about this. Have you tried to contact the family about his stuff? It's kinda crappy gloating about doing something like this.
The one thing I hate..is when good clothes get SQUISHED back into a box after being properly folded or placed, and then smaheroo..sooo sad. Personally if something is old and smashed I won't pay much for it.
They are limited on time while filming. They will unpack when they reexamine the item when they list it with great care and make the item more presentable before shipping. They will never ship anything that is unworthy to ship.
@@19590 Stop defending their lack of care with the items. You have to admit that they're morons to squish it to begin with, and no amount of refolding fixes the fact that it was found pristine and now is rumpled and likely dirty/grimy too. The first thing they did was wipe a pile of disgusting, likely moldy, dust and dirt onto the table they then dragged every box across, and sat many items in. Then to top it off, the BIL was grabbing each designer suit still wearing the disgusting gloves he'd wiped the saddlebag off with. Pure stupidity grubbing up pristine items. I don't care whether they're filming or how much time they have. Wiping grime off a saddlebag and then handling fine clothing with those same disgusting work gloves, is ridiculous. They are not alone. Many storage unit buyers and thrifters/pickers will show their finds laid out on the floor at home with their pets walking, slobbering, and dripping snot on the clothing. One will grab a scrap grill, dump it sideways into his van getting grease on the van floor, then go through a box of clothing throwing each item onto the van floor after showing it. Would I buy from any of them? Nope.
First and last video of yours that I'll watch. 1. Complete lack of knowledge of almost every item. "Guys let me know if you know anything about it." Thought that a plastic album cover meant it was new. Can't even read a brand (Tony Lama boots) or group name (Iron Butterfly) correctly. Can't read a number correctly, 4301 is not "four thirty one". 2. Immediately wiped dirt, grime, and possibly mold (considering it was on a leather saddle bag) from the most disgustingly dirty item in the unit, onto hands, work gloves, and the table he then sat and sorted other boxes of stuff onto. Zero interest in keeping valuable items clean, especially vintage clothing. How hard is it to sit the dirty item on the ground and clean it with a rag so you don't get the sorting table, hands, and gloves all disgustingly dirty? Or get a box of 100 disposable gloves for $5 and change gloves once you get them grimy? 3. Said the motorcycle wasn't included with the unit, but then sort of implied he was going to take it. Left us hanging. 4. Said the unit had been paid for 35 years by the guy, didn't explain how/when he found this out. Sort of matters whether it was known when bidding or not. 5. Didn't explain whether the brother in law dude is his wife's brother, versus his sister's hubby. Apparently the woman was his wife, but if that's true, he sure didn't treat her with much respect. Not that it's cool to be rude to your sister, either. The unit was a nice score. How he presented it, how he treated the items, and how the 3 people interacted was a disaster. Not worth my time to ever watch another video by him. And I'd never, ever buy anything from someone who doesn't care if they get every item they find all grimy. I know there's a lot involved in going through a unit, a lot involved in making a video, that keeping things clean takes a little effort, that inserting corrections (via captioning or pausing the video to do a voice over) takes effort, and that showing prices of comparable items, or showing sold prices by waiting to release the video, takes effort. But with 100K+ subscribers, that's the sort of thing I expect to see, to fix any train wrecks that understandably happen on the day of opening the unit.
You are right. If there is a will, there is a way! But If you don't have the time, why bother while filming to move a bike ? It would be Waste of time and energy to move it !
Wade is in the business to make money and resell. He means no harm He is only encouraging sales and entertain viewers who are interested in resales. Vintage. And abandoned lockers and units. He is means no harm.

That Olympia Beer pilsner glass in the beginning of the video was awesome. The brewery (located in Tumwater, WA) is no longer in operation. It's claim to fame was the artesian water, from the natural stream, that was used to brew the beer.
That John Coltrane unopened could be a nice find.
So much good music in those boxes. Good stuff. The "horses" was a Bob Seger album.
And the red T-shirt...pissa. . was THE LEANING TOWER OF PISA ...
Also a Robin Trowe album in there
@25:18 Wade those are vintage Tony Lama boots. If we can figure out from what year. Those alone could possibly pay for your entire unit and then some. Tony Lamas are a fairly expensive boot in today's market.
Sorry, these only sale for $50-$60 plus shipping on Ebay
I wore out my sharkskin Tony Lamas, I got in 76, and finally burned em in a campfire in 2003, so many holes and cracks! Nice boots
I have that exact farberware set . Still using it 45 years later. Good find . They last forever!
My mother still has that same FaRberware set also. It was off putting he kept saying FaYberware. Individual Farberware pans and skillets go for $5 and up in crappy condition so that set would be highly coveted by some people.
Me too!
I’m dubious. How is there still air in the tires of the bike and motorbike?
Copyright date doesn't mean they are that old. It is the drawing's copyright.
Thank u for saying this lol
I was really rolling my eyes on that one... They didn't HAVE shirts like that in 1958, or probably 1971 either, for that matter...
Good Lord.
Any Major Dude Will Tell You.
No kidding! That was pretty painful to watch.
I almost burst into tears😂..Aja is one of the greatest albums on the planet by the greatest band on the earth!
She did sew most of the clothes for us four girls though. ❤️
HOTEL CALIFORNIA! Sell that one individually and I will bid on it.
That's a storage of a man of wealth and taste ;)
Just the headlight is a few hundred bucks if not.1000
I had no idea...Schwinn=boat anchor in my experience.
I love when wade gets excited, sometimes he forgets himself and gets a touch pushy, but when he gets thrilled it means life will be better for his family. Sides I think he likes the really cool vintage stuff. Rock on Ventures
Y
Sides ??? You put in all that work typing out that paragraph but didnt feel like typing BE-sides. ? Oh ok.
He gets excited about everything even if its not exciting. Its hype for the buyers, a little annoying, I watch with the volume off!
I lived with a guy like that...for way too long...😁. But this guy's not the worst I've seen.
Ashley's so mild and cute.
They Guy who gave this unit up was some snazzy dresser!! WOW!
Love all vintage clothes Pendleton, Woolrich, Eddie Bauer, and LL Bean. I’m originally from New England and those were the brands I would buy.
You need to contact a movie prop department.
You open each box with great care and respect.
Id love the Faberware cooking set. Got exact box 40 years ago at my wedding shower.
I bet the Michael Jackson and Beatles records are worth alot
Because those are so rare
Good to see you again. Got a lot of help. When you get excited you suck your breathe in deep. You might pass out . Shouldn't do that. Stay well. Hi Ashley. See ya soon.
Wade, do you realize how old you are making me feel when you look at a Beatles album and say, "That is old!"? That was the year I started college!
Best time time capsule storage unit I've ever seen!!
Nice clothes. And so well kept. Ashley your hair looks great. Looks so healthy. 🙌
Wade I was pausing and Googling this unit rocks. Awesome Congratulations!!!!
Whoever owned all this was a wealthy guy that bought the Best and expensive clothing ,the way he preserved his possesions is tantamount to the life of a Gentleman of some standing.
agree. whoever he was, he was a proper gentleman.
Oh, stop.
I still have that blender right now. 😅 It was a bridal shower gift in the mid eighties. Lol
Thank you Wade for this intresting Findings Video.
Schwinn's factory was in Chicago. So at one time, all the Scwinns in the US were from Chicago. I bought a Schwimn varsity 10 speed in 1978
Ambercrombie & Finch. Hahaha!!
Good finds wades. Love all old stuff. Glad you did well on fabric s. But me a guy lol. Love ❤️ lockers like this. Stay blessed this year.
Great buy. I love this unit.😊
I love these old lockers. A trip through time. I think those Snoopy shirts are going to be more like 150 to 200. They're really nice.
That's why he does this.
It's all about the money to him.
I do agree he talks to much though. Lol
Oh well.
We can always hit mute.
@@Chereese0808
I don't think Wade talks enough! Some men do talk a lot like the guy on PawnStars! Now he is too much! Lol!
Wade? Nope. He is humble ! A real nice guy!
And
I find this show so entertaining !!
Love it!!!
Tony Llamas are a very good brand. The best. I am sure you have discovered that by now. What a haul. This guy obviously took excellent care of everything!
Wonder what the story is behind this unit, makes me sad...
I'll throw it in the date on those Snoopy t-shirts is the date that the cartoon was not the shirt
Great unit loving the older stuff. Looking forward to watching more x
Those are some kick a** vinyl!!!!! My era!❤
Not crocheted, machine knitted by the look of it. That Suzuki, a GN250, exact same as my first bike, same colour even. So cool.
You mean 650g
Pat Benatar Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles and I think you said Led Zeppelin those four are good ones
Leon Butterfly Rocks 😂
I thought the same thing haha😂
Don't forget.... This is not typical storage unit score....😏😊 I subbed you for several reasons .. The editing , and the cameradery.... Well done 👍...
THAT PAN SET WAS THE BOMB...I learned to cook with Farberware.
you really have a good eye and I can tell you that most of the stuff in that time capsule is really decent - remember this is right at the tail end of when the USA still made clothes and clothing was quality, I would kill for a lot of that because most of it will never wear out compared to todays crap. everything in that locker is really also at the tail end of when things weren't crap. lots of those jackets have both a store tag and a makers tag - I am clothes collector and there are a lot of great vintage makers in there, eBay is calling...those Arrow Brigade New Old Stock shirts are bank.
J. Bud Clark was the Mayor of Portland back in the 80's
It's NOT Corning ware it' CORELLE!!!
Corelle was originally by Corning started in 1970 and later became Corelle, Inc.
The corningware was back when it was guaranteed not to break. Good stuff back then
I dropped a stack of plates on an asphalt tile kitchen floor in 1987 when I was washing dishes in our college family apartment as we had a baby in a walker at that time.
By how old it is they either died or got sick and their income quit
Nope.
Fantastic!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ watching your videos! Thank you for sharing and have a great evening!!!!
Dude....Eat a snicker bar !!!!!!!!!!
We had the potbellied lamps in my house growing up in the 70s. The little “fire” in the stove was so cool.
I would move that bike to the back.
Too heavy of a bike to move !!
It’s got wheels. We just moved a vintage Harley when my son died !
You are right. If there is a will, there is a way!
But If you don't have the time, why bother while filming to move a bike ? It would be Waste of time and energy to move it !
I loved Corning Ware when I lived alone. A few years before I met my husband I got a Pioneer Woman set and have never looked back.
Hi, Sorry Wade I know it's an excellent unit but I'm getting sick of the word money, please don't say it again.
It’s how they support their families. It’s exciting to be able to afford your lifestyle.
Wade is in the business to make money and resell. He means no harm
He is only encouraging sales and entertain viewers who are interested in resales. Vintage. And abandoned lockers and units.
He is means no harm.
Why everyone's are attacking me I did not say anything bad and I was really polite, sorry wade I know it's not you but I don't think I'm going to write another comments. People are getting aggressive in their replies lately.
Harris Tweed is a fabric not a clothing manufacturer. It has to be woven on the island Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. What a find!
If nothing else, we are all getting more education on things we may not have known even if we are from a certain era. I know I am!
