I have always been a plaid flannel and jeans gal, but my daughter was raised in the 80s and 90s, and I remember the wild designs, the pearls on sweaters, etc. This unit is truly a blast from the past!
I am GenX, those clothes are a real blast from the past, every time you pulled something out I remembered someone I knew that wore it back in the eighties and early nineties. Oddly enough it also brought the smell of Marlboro Lights and MD 20/20 to mind.
Hi love your vidios. I am 63 and I had those doll bookends when I was a little girl . They were from Sears matching pencil holder and all kind of stuff. I had may 7 or 8 different pieces. Take care
I'm really enjoying your videos with Taco stacks love watching y'all interacting with each other. I'm really enjoying watching both of y'all's videos on these units. 😊
I am a Chritmas lights nut. I fill my tree with lights and then add a few drcorations. I get filled with happiness for you but mixed with envy when you happen upon vintage Christmas. In Victora Australia we call trash digging hard rubbish. So glad I found your channel. You bring so much joy.
There are so many interesting items in this unit, I especially like the old tools - the hooks you picked up were used over here (South Australia) too for shifting wheat and barley bags and sometimes hay; butchers hooks generally didn't have wooden handles because the blood soaked into the wood. My other half was a child on her parents mixed farm here in SA, her Mum still had some tools from the farm that we now have, a wheat bag sewing needle, the hooks and a really old two tined hay fork. It's really good to see the boxes etc that you each show and I'm looking forward to the next two units - treasure?! Stay warm 😁🦘🦘🦘
When you pulled out the animal comforter you made my day. I met and married my husband in the late 1980's. He had the comforter on his bed. We still have that comforter and it happens to be on our bed right now. So wonderful to see you pull that out of the box. Had to show my husband. He also loves your videos. Thanks for a great memory.
Part two of the incredible set of four storage lockers, thanks for taking us along ! 👍Not an overwhelming result so far, but a lot of useful fleamarket items like the Department 56 bunnies. If you don´t mind, please tell your lovely viewers how much you paid for the four units. Congrats on the turkey legs which should bring back some memories from the beginning of your channel. 😊 Meanwhile we also got some snow over here, but it will be gone until tomorrow. 🌨🌧Keep it up, and can´t wait to meet you again at locker No. 3 ! Greets from GER, U.
That poor turkey! I’m surprised we haven’t found other taxidermy besides the deer mounts that Taco found in what was the first unit. The forecast was all over for our storm tomorrow, but looks like we are just in for a dusting. Now for Saturday, my phone currently shows we are in for… well, that changed! This afternoon it said almost 8 inches of snow & now there’s no chance of precipitation. The weatherman likes to keep us guessing! Hope you had a great weekend!
Yes you are correct, Stanley also makes tools. In the last few years they have realy uped their game with good quality entry to mid grade soccets & wretches and have made screwdrivers for decades. At least here in Canada. Hope you looked into the "smelly box" in case full of gold? You two may get so many things that might need to hold an auction. Great videos 👍👍
Love storage auctions!! We found lots of vintage band shirts last week in a unit, which I will upload soon to my channel!!! The digging for treasures is what I look foward to the most!!!!💃
I was born in the 70s sp the 80s clothing bought back some fond memories of the big big fat hair doos and the clothing😂❤....darling I've only watched 6 or so episodes, and I think k now you need to buy a bigger house😂😂😂😂 for storage. Great work.
Good to know I'm not the only person that saves jewelry boxes. Is that a Precious Moments music box? Antlers make great buttons when sliced and drilled. Amazing sheep horn!
I love watching the storage unit videos that you and Taco do. This was a very interesting unit to say the least. I hope you both make some good money on this one. Can't wait to see what you find in the other units.
Renee, it really touched my heart when you found the Dachshunds and said you wanted one❤ I've had Dachshunds almost all my life. My last beautiful long haired Dachshund was Marley. I had him almost 16years. We were together everyday. He passed away August 7, 2024. It's been devastating😭 I hope you are able to get one. I think the long haired is the cutest. I love watching your videos and have for quite awhile. Love your storage units. Love that you and Taco Stacks are doing this together as you're great together ❤️ I also appreciate so much no foul language on your shows🥰
Awe, sorry to hear about the passing of your pup. It is hard losing a furry friend, they truly are our best friends & companions. I would love to get a long haired dachshund, perhaps one day!
So sorry for your loss! I lost my therapy cat last year. He was 19! A huge boy that went through so many surgeries w me after a horrible crash. I pray you get another special furry soon!🌸🙏🌸❤️@debtaylor
Stay warm Renee. It's very hot here in Australia. It's fun to see items from where I am show up in a unit where you are. I'm about 45 minutes SE of Melbourne. ❤🐨
Dang, I think I missed one of the videos I’ll have to go back lol… As far as those hooks go, I think they are multipurpose but growing up on a farm we used them for hay bales… Love your videos. I wish I could find someone to buy storage units with… Too much work for me by myself, but I live vicariously through you guys lol happy new year🎉
I watched your introduction of Paper and Moose. It is nice to meet you. I look for treasures - trash treasures ---- I don't go hunting for, but I drive a school bus and sometimes on my route, I find treasures. I keep it practical if at all possible as I have been through my house twice, taking lots to thrift stores, so I have it down to my true treasures. I own horses until a few years ago (My Appaloosa Joker was 32 when he passed in my hold) I am 61, - I know of a barn that does 2 sales a year that they let you set up for, and horse tack is I believe ---- you just can't really take it to a thrift store, so as an example, I found a iron shelf unit that I can improve the look of my horse tack booth- to hang horse halters and bridles on---- you know if you have a nice presentation of your stuff, it may sell better. ------------------ I still collect Appaloosa stuff (the Nez Perce Indian horse with spots)---- I lived in Billings but now reside in Kansas City. I LOVE YELLOWSTONE and Cody Wyoming. Have you been to the Buffalo Bill Museum? I have a spoon collection and have been to all 50 states. I have a friend who LOVES Vintage stuff- she has a 1968 Airstream Travel Trailer that crossed on the Panama Canal. I love Turquoise and you not long ago found a Turquoise ring with 2 horse shoes- Are you selling that? I am not sure how to work Etsy but if you have that ring on there. That and I love Black Hills Gold- not sure if you know legend--- a miner was starving in the mountains cause he never found the gold. He saw grape leaves in the stream- so being hungry he followed the grape leaves upstream, and when he did, he found the gold. I do love Disney. And Figment is my favorite character, for I have published 5 books (Steve Perry of Journey is my character)--- and when you write fiction, you gotta use your, IMAGINATION... Yes, I like estate sales for the reason of seeing how others live and history and uniqueness.
"Rubber Duckie, you're the one!" Thanks for that blast from the past courtesy of Ernie from Sesame Street. I can still remember him singing that song (and so many others, lol). Enjoying these videos a lot. Stay warm!
Hurray on the t-shirt Renee and Taco Stack's. Finding some cool stuff is amazing and so much fun. Your such an amazing person Renee. 2025 is a big start for you and Taco Stack's. Love the Storage Unit's and looking forward to seeing what more you and Taco Stack's find in the other Unit's. God Bless you and keep smiling. Your beautiful. God Bless you both. HUGS 🤗❤️💙. Mari'a. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌄🌄🌄🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙☕☕☕
I love this channel since you manage to keep smiling while pretty much finding only boxes of broken rubber bands and used twist ties! Keep up the good work, you're well on your way to making tens of dollars.
Here is my take on this set of 4 units. I think it was from a hoarder house that was forced to "clean up" or else. It explains the new stuff, the partial filled boxes and the randomness of the items in each box. A group of people went in and put anything in good condition in the boxes but not too heavy because they had to move them. Not the way a typical storage unit user would have packed. It is a fantastic score for the flea market this spring.
Hello Renee. Boy this unit hasn’t disappointed at all. I can’t wait to see the next one and what goodies you find. Well today I’m getting so much snow. It’s Illinois snow storm for sure. Hope you guys are doing well there. Just glad it’s not like the snowstorms of 1978 , 1979. That was crazy. Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🥰🫎🫎☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🫎🫎💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
sure hope that alot of the stuff is checked out for ebay rather than just straight to the fleamarket... more bang for your buck so to speak lol.. thanks for another great video
I always cut them out. (Still do) Which you could do easily if they were not under the linings of a jacket. They made me feel like a football player. I knew someone who would have on a blouse with shoulder pads then a blazer with shoulder pads over that and then a coat with shoulder pads over that. Way too much!

Good color for Rene!

Yes! Miss The Casual Corner! Glad to see an item from it again!
And congrats on the 100k, I've been watching your videos when you were still working! Looks like the right decision was made!

I have that tee shirt

The box with the meat and or hay hooks, the cross bar with the two hooks on the ends was for hanging your deer or hogs on to dress them out.

Yes, helmets do have expiration dates. Also, car seats. I believe it's six years on car seats. The plastic gets brittle.

Yup, but they both deliver better than the USPS, got my December gas bill on January 4th and the payment was due on Jan 3rd.😂
You’ve done very well in this unit. Bravo!👏👏👏
You did good with this unit. Did not see much that could not be sold or donated.👍

Renee, I wash out the residual wax in candle jars and repurpose them for bead and jewelry findings. ❤

will you use those boxes to repack stuff for Spring flea markets?
