Thanks for watching everyone! I think they priced it right at $399. IMO you can get a solid 10th scale rig for less with similar out of the box performance, BUT if you want all the bells and whistles, I think this one will be very hard to beat. 👍

A better rock crawler? This is more of a trail truck.

Can you install an engine sound box in it?

$399 with free shipping is a pretty good deal. The radio has 11 channels but uses only 8 of them. You'll pay over $500 for a similar rig from the bigger names.

True, the stock TX/RX is impressive.

What a very good video, comprehensive and complete without getting into the “weeds” per se.

Not bad since the TRX-4 is basically exactly the same and over 500

    Just a heads up...
As far as body options and mounting, there is clearly two mounting points for body posts in the top plastic crossmembers. Super simple.
As far as a lipo for the transmitter, the 900mah lipo for the FMS mini crawlers works excellent and is only 10 bucks.
As for the front wheel drive only, that is for very steep inclines that your rig may have grip on the front, but the torque from the rear wheels can sometimes want to lift the front wheels and flip it back, so you cut the torque off from the rear to prevent this.
Excellent rig, and nice video. 👊🤘🤙

I would say with the money saved. After market light bars, bumpers and whatever else could make it pretty cool.

For sure. I think just a simple wheel/tire upgrade would make a noticeable difference. Will be cool to see if someone comes out with some tubular bumpers.

Now everyone can shut up when they complain to fms saying "make a 1/10 scale"

It's funny how seemingly all of a sudden every 10th scale crawler guy became obsessed with scale right after the Mashigan was released. RC4WD can have a FJ40 and K5 Blazer the same size for years, but a YJ body that's a bit too larger is suddenly a crime. Believe me as a scale nerd I get it, but I do find it a little funny. 😆

It's a $400 vehicle. Keep that in mind. Read like you speak. Nobody says Ai for A. We say Ah. This is Ah pen.

😂 Considering the detail and quality of FMS products, this is a disappointment. If you want to compare it to the TRX then yes, it’s a better deal, but I would rather buy the Mashigan or Toyota Land Cruiser from them. Excellent detailed RC at an affordable price. I wouldn’t waste my money on an overpriced TRX anyway! lol

The Mashigan and Land Cruiser are both awesome rigs! I wouldn't say their chassis' are quite as refined or high quality as the FCX10. I've had some minor issues with them but it doesn't take much to make them more durable. I also highly recommend an ESC upgrade on those. I'm currently working on a few minor upgrades on the Land Cruiser which I will be covering in a video. The one thing cool about the old chassis' though is you can install leaf springs for even more scale realism. 👍

I’m hoping someone will do a video actually comparing it to a trx4 blazer on a crawling course…it’s only been out what a week…I have a trx4 blazer for couple years now all stock electronics just put wheels tires and brass front diff cover and no issues at all..also if I do break something on it I can find parts at a hobby shop and be back driving in a day…something breaks on this thing and it’s down for at least a week while waiting for parts…just keeping it real..I have the old version 1/18 lc80 and the new version FCX18 lc80 but anyone who had the old one I bet was skeptical like me before buying the newer one..my old one is on its third gearbox assembly but the FCX18 is much better but time will tell me
