Where was it filmed? How many dinosaurs appear?
Massive thanks to @ancientrealms8943 and @HodgePodge7 for working closely on this project with me.

I feel like something that doesn't get discussed enough about the final scene between Abby and Connor at Stephen's hospital bed in this episode is how much it reveals about Connor's respect for Abby. He recognises that she wants Stephen at that point and he respects her decision. He doesn't try to push her into choosing him instead. It shows that while he does want a romantic relationship with Abby, ultimately what he wants more is for her to be happy, and that is what makes their relationship such a healthy one.
I always hated how Stephen was made out to be the good looking one which I think he was not the good looking one. Connor was the best looking one. I don’t get why Abby fancy Stephen in the first place. He never good looking at all and he was never good looking enough for her. Glad the writers change the relationships in the 2nd series.
@@rtaylor7384 The bigger problem is that Stephen at no point ever seems that interested in Abby. He admits he finds her attractive, but he never proactively tries to build a romantic relationship with her. Connor on the other hand goes out of his way to spend time with Abby outside of work and get to know her better.
@@wildtom3076The funny thing is originally the creators planned on Abby getting with Stephen, but had her went with Connor instead especially after seeing the chemistry their actors had with each other.
I remember watching this episode. We were at my father's friend's house, because he used to go there all the time. My sister and I were kinda friends with her daughters. We all watched it together. Less than a year later, my father started seeing someone who had twin daughters my sister's age, and any time we watched series 1 after that, we weren't allowed to watch this episode because one of the twins always had nightmares when watching anything with large spiders in it (mostly this episode of Primeval, the second Harry Potter film and one episode of Merlin).
The novelisation of this is the same book as the first episode, which I read just last week.
Always interesting to hear everyone’s personal Primeval journey. And yes this creepy crawley episode is quite creepy. Well done on finding and reading the novelisation; not everyone knows about them.

@@thegreatprimevalshow This is the last one for a while where I remember the exact details from when I first watched it. However, I do have a lot of good memories associated with the show.
Giant Spiders: Sensitive to light
Also Giant Spiders: Walk through blindingly bright anomaly, twice over.
I love this show more than almost any other, but that little tidbit struck me on rewatch...
i introduced my boyfriend to primeval!
Neskutečně zajímavé téma nad kterým me nikdy nenapadlo přemýšlet, ale zároveň dává naprostý smysl. Díky za video!
Vždy rád slyším od dalšího fanouška Pravěku.

It's a war cry from his clan
Silly arse!
The Arc Minister: "Wait, woah, hold on. Did this start the Carboniferous forest fire in Walking with Monsters and Prehistoric Park?!"🔥🔥😆😆
Yes 🔥
Also it didn't mention the close-up shot of the Arthropleura injecting its venom in Cutter's sample bag with a spear-like proboscis.
Damn it, @HodgePodge7 your Arthropleura profile is incomplete 🤦🏼♂️
I own the figure of the Giant Arachnid by Character Options
Solifuges are cool
Hey what is the track played in nicks monologue at the start of this epsiode
The one thing I hated about series 1 was that they made Stephen out to be the good looking one which it was not the good locking. I don’t know why Abby fancy Stephen in the first place. It was not even good looking anyway. 😂I always thought Connor was the good looking one. I glad the writers changed the relationships in series 2.
Sorry he was not the good looking one I mean to say there.
