8/10/2022: I’m sure you all know that work on this series has been discontinued. I’ve stated some of the reasons for this before, but I want to share a little more insight as to what was going on behind the scenes, and what led up to me deciding to just cancel the series. To tell you the truth, I began work on SMBC after thinking up some interesting character interactions, that’s it. No concepts for the plot, no scripting, nothing. I just had a few ideas that I wanted to see come to fruition. That’s a pretty lousy way to write a story. The only reason this first episode didn’t COMPLETELY blow was that it borrowed so many tropes from SMBZ. At about 25% completion, I really began to regret my decision, so much so that it started to dwindle my passion for animation. However, I wanted to at least finish the episode I had started, so I rushed through the remaining parts to get it all over with. There’s evidence of this to be seen throughout the majority of the episode: janky movements, questionable choreography, lazy set design, inconsistent sprites, etc. I just wanted to be done with it. Out of all the content I’ve produced on this channel, this right here is what I’m the most ashamed of. I should’ve invested the time I spent on it working to perfect my style by pumping out original fights, but it went all to waste instead. At the end of the day, Super Mario Bros. Calamity is my biggest regret with this channel. TLDR: I had no idea what I was doing when I created this episode and I wish I had spent my time working on something original.
Not to sound harsh but it was kind of expected. Although this series animation is great it is pretty obvious to just be another "smbz clone" just like all the other sprite animation series I've seen on RUclips. I Hope you'll be able to make a series in the future that has a little bit more creativity and planning. This short series was entertaining while it lasted
Usually, I raise an eyebrow when it comes to sprite moves that follow Mark’s SMBZ series; Sonic and Mario, Metallix show up, etc. However, my motto is, “it’s not about how many times something has been done; it’s how you do it your way,’ so I decided to give this episode a shot. I gotta say, this is pretty solid. First off, THANK YOU for not having needless gore and excess violence like some sprite movies try to do. You captured the light-hearted, cartoonish tone of the Mario series while also capturing the drama and action of the Sonic series pretty well. You did an excellent job of keeping everyone in character instead of giving them personalities or dialogue that don’t fit them. I also like how you added your own spin on things, like how Bowser discovered a Chaos Emerald before the heroes. What was really tight was how he used the Emerald’s power for his Koopa Clown Car. I always look for creative liberties when it comes to these sprite movies. You also did an excellent job of showing Sonic’s speed and how he fights. However, I feel that things moved too quickly for my tastes, such as Mario’s picnic with Princess Peach. I think that they could’ve used that moment for a possible talk about a past confrontation with Bowser. But this just hairsplitting. Regardless, there is much potential in this, and I believe that it can be realized if more creative liberties regarding character abilities and situations were to happen. All in all, keep going. You seem to have a pretty good setup so far. Oh! And you're looking for Dr. Eggman sprites with walking animation, these should do: www.deviantart.com/redballbomb/art/Dr-Eggman-Sprite-Sheet-New-Pallette-677997688 www.deviantart.com/redballbomb/art/Custom-Eggman-Walk-Sprites-740132936 Also, here are some sprites I did on my DA page. @Camden Cox In response to the first half of your comment, I'd like to see where this series is going, and I figured that the sprites would get some pretty good use in the movie. For the second half, when it comes to fanwork, personally, I don't think it's about doing it correctly, it's about putting your own spin on things, how you would have events play out your way.
I see where both of you are coming from in this, and it's interesting. Personally, I think that due to the fact that it's an art, it's down to the artist to decide what's important to them when it comes to using their craft for fanwork, and to discover how to properly, significantly, or beautifully *convey that value.* That's what makes different artwork diverse and unique after all, and is partly the purpose of art, right?
@Camden Cox From what you're saying, I can imagine there being a renaissance of sorts in terms of pixel or sprite animation works. For the past year or so, I've seen many animators go underground, go into hibernation, go lurking (in servers, websites and whatnot), and go commenting everywhere and become inactive in terms of productivity. So I'm actually not dure what the state of fanwork looks like right now lol. I have a friend who's experimenting with music and I've heard a few short pieces (mostly sections of remixes or arrangements based on an existing composition), but I haven't seen how that's going in a while. He's busy, but hopefully he's not as dormant as the others I alluded to
@Camden Cox But yeah, this conversation has some kind of meaning that I'm not sure how to explain. It gives you the kind of feeling that makes you grin from ear to ear :)
I couldn't agree more with that motto! Why do you think most (and I use that term very heavily...looking at you, Dio) main villains, like Bowser and Ganondorf, retain their freshness over the years?
Dw he's been back for years working on a remake. Better animation quality, and he's changed some parts of the plot. Search "Super Mario Bros. Z Reboot"
Legit what I was thinking lol don’t get me wrong but I want to see something new and refreshing. All these “super mario” sprite animations end up having Metal Sonic/Metallix and then him going to the Mushroom Kingdom or something. Maybe I’m missing something..
@@AlmightyKing143 SHIIIIET, I HAVE THE SAME IMPRESSION! Like, can't someone do more with these worlds?? Always the same characters making a joke (or unresolve, when it comes to Metal Sonic) of the same..."villains". It doesn't have the same weight as SMBZ you know? SMC is still really good in its own right, in a way that SMBZ doesn't actually compare to (EDIT: I should say "THEY don't have the same weight as the likes of/in SMBZ", and perhaps Super Rival Saga. Plus, this doesn't crap on SMC, cos it's literally designed to be based on SMBZ, it's deliberate. It's just a personal feeling lol. Hopefully it actually progresses though and the series doesn't end up left unresolved)
@@mared7305 nothing is done different and mark's smbz is always getting a bootlegged rehash, same plot, same everything. it feels like i've watched this episode before it even came out lmao. idk why it's so hard just to come up with something different
I appreciate how it does it's own thing while obviously being inspired. Can't wait to see more, especially alongside the main series going on to see how they diverge.
@@edwarddavis7858 my bad. What i mean was that a lot of people just right this off as an SMBZ copycat. But there is a difference between inspiration and copy-paste-ing. And I'm glad that you were able to recognize the difference.
@@Logan_but_not Ah thank you. Yeah I've seen a bunch of copies before, and this one isn't. Bowser appears to have a more direct role in this, and I like that.
Bro this was a banger! Really glad I could help you out with the episode. already know you’re gonna inspire another generation of animators with this amazing series. Keep up the good work
You clearly have skill, Smasherblock and even Mark replied in the Live Chat you have amazing potential I hope this series finishes. Exceed all of the others. Please im begging you.
I gotta say you did an amazing job on the episode MunkyBoi! I really liked how changed the intro and how the episode sorta had a similar thing going as Mark Haynes but hey that’s pretty much the point, and I can’t wait for Yoshi and Knuckles to make their appearance too!
Logic of Mario and Sonic sprite series: 1) *Mecha Sonic come back to the Mario world and search the emeralds* 2) *Wario and Waluigi fighting Mario and Luigi* 3) *Mario vs Bowser first fight with Fire Mario as power up included in advantage* 4) *Bowser use a power up and beat Mario* 5) *Sonic save Mario* 6) *Bowser and Kamek kicked out like Team Rocket* 7) *Presentation of Sonic and Co again* 8) *presentation of Chaos Emeralds and a adventure to find Chaos emeralds* I think *SMBZ* have influenced his fans as well but honestly there too much series with same plot
these sprite animation are cleary a tribute to smbz (now continued with remake ep 2) so they start with the same plot, changing something. there are plenty of only mario or sonic fan animation without the Z part
9)Luigi Doesn't Does Shit. Seriously Though,Are You Telling Me That He Fell Unconscius With Only 2 Goddamn Hits? It's Even Less Believeable Considering That Mario Didn't Died To This 21:37
16:00 just wanted to comment and say that this little real break in sequence was really good. Actually felt like there was something at stake there. Scene felt actually genuine, which is something I dont see a lot from a lot of the SMBZ fan genre.
This is amazing. The effects are really well timed, the sound effects are amazing and super recognizable from other games. This animation is one of the best things I’ve seen in ages!
It's clear where you get the inspiration from but there's a point where a different in amount becomes a difference in kind. There is so much work and attention to detail put in, none of which goes unnoticed. Seriously incredible!
That was HYPE! 🔥🔥🔥 The animation was so smooth and I love the little details like Mario checking if Luigi is breathing and I like the more slower pace fights as the hits felt more impact and weighty. The lighting was also really well done. I'm definitely taking notes from this lol. Overall this was a great introduction and I can't wait to see more of the series! Also YO YOU ADDED ME IN THE SPECIAL THANKS THANK YOU SO MUCH BRO
I've been here for almost 10 minutes, trying to write a comment that can do justice to what you have shown us with this episode. I guess I can start by saying: this is an AWESOME sprite animation. Seriously. You can see all the effort you've put in the Ep just by paying attention to the scenes, the fighting choreography, and the different shots. It truly has an amazing direction. The same goes for the story, and the pacing of the episode itself. I believe you managed to show and convey everything to your audience, without making the Ep feel forced, and giving enough information to know what this is, and will be about. You could argue that it is a little bit like SMBZ, but at this point I think at least 60% - 70% of Mario and Sonic sprite series take inspiration from SMBZ and many series alike. And even so, Super Mario Bros. Calamity still feels like its own thing, with a lot of creative ideas to make it different from what we've seen in other series. Overall an awesome beginning, for what I believe will be an amazing sprite series. Take your time with it, remember to always focus on your health first, and I hope to see more in the future.
That's the thing. Even if someone decided to use "it's a lot like SMBZ" to discredit it, they can't. It's based on SMBZ, so it's literally intentional. It's more of a personal preference and saturation thing really. Regardless though, it's still wonderfully made and has its own charm
LOVE IT!! These fan animations are the best thing ever. You guys are so incredibly talented, best wishes on your future work and great job on one hell of a pilot episode!!
Holy moly! I'll start with the positives: - First, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY you know how to spell and write English dialog correctly. If there's one thing I hate about practically every one of these SMBZ inspired animations, it's that none of them take well enough care to use proper grammar and it REALLY breaks the immersion. To that end, I also liked that for the most part you kept the characterizations of everyone pretty spot on. There were a couple times Bowser sounded at little too "Dignified" but over all, you really kept the spirit of each character intact and I appreciate that! - Second, I really enjoyed the cinematic camera work, Particularly in the opening scene. The shot of Robotnik/Eggman and Metal walking down the corridor was perfectly composed as if right out of a movie. Well done on some of those. It really adds more weight to a scene when you shoot it like it's a big deal. - The fight Choreography and some of the choices - Such as a beam struggle in stead of a fireball standoff - were great! Not to mention the use of the Klown Kar was pretty neat and innovative. I hope you continue to do things like this. Don't just use the emeralds as power ups. Have them enhance items and things of that nature too! Now, though, in the interest of constructive critique, i feel it would only be right to tell you what I DID NOT like. Only because this has SO, SO MUCH POTENTIAL and I'd like to see you improve. Please understand, I love what you've done. This is all said in good faith so if anything comes off as harsh, please don't take it as me putting you down. Take it as advice from an old school SMBZ fan from back when the OG series was being made. Here's how i see it: - Let me be terribly blunt: The big flaw your animation has right now, as of this one episode that's available, is that it suffers from the same thing all of the other animations do: *SMBZ ENVY!* - Look, I realize that more than likely it's not as if you don't have your own compelling story planned. Far from it...In fact, I know you do. In all honesty, you put some damn fine effort into this from a production standpoint and that tells me that you do indeed want to do this the right way. However, I'll be totally honest: Your story beats are nearly identical to that of the SMBZ Reboot, and that isn't good, Not at all. Especially when you're using the same music in the same places. Even some of the same dramatic shots and aesthetics are ripped straight out of Ep. 1, including not only the text box style, but the font to boot! You don't need to resort to stuff like that. In fact, I dare say You're better than that, even. An homage is one thing, but this series (and your reputation in the SMBZ fan community, for that matter) will be better served by doing your own thing and not using SMBZ itself as your roadmap through the plot. I know you're good enough of a creator to stand on your own two feet, and besides: Ep. 2 of SMBZ is on the very cusp of releasing, which means this is sure to get this project a lot of attention and we want you be appreciated for the things YOU bring to the table. You wouldn't want this to be taken as nothing more than a retelling of SMBZ anyway. :) - Secondly, and this is a minor thing but something to consider: The use of Dragon Ball Super music comes across as a little cheesy. Yes, this is an homage to SMBZ and DBZ, but it doesn't mean you need to make it that overtly apparent. One of the things SMBZ did that made it work so well is that it was able to weave the Dragon Ball references so seamlessly into the background that you almost forgot they were there. Aside from the occasional power up aura or title card spoof here and there, the series was by and large more focused on the games and their worlds than being a blatant "Parody" of DBZ (beyond maybe the first two episodes.) I would have preferred Live and Learn in the final battle scene than DBS music. It took me out of the moment a bit, personally. Just my opinion. All in all, you probably have the greatest potential to make something unique and special of any of the recent Z-style projects i've seen (and that's a lot!) so I hope you'll continue to grow from ep to ep and make this your own thing. We already have one SMBZ and it's back underway. Now let's see what SMBC is all about! ^^ Good luck from an SMBZ fan since day 1! I'm excited to see where this goes. Liked and Subbed.
@@beatles123 I like that you really want this to be unique and this critique is alright I think, but your whole comment regarding "SMBZ Envy", I feel, doesn't fundamentally apply here. Mostly, that's because it was literally made (to be) based on SMBZ. Not to say that doesn't mean it won't be unique (due to that), because it doesn't. We'll have to wait for the next few episodes to see how they'll turn out. I doubt it'll be a straight SMBZ clone or have no soul to it
@@mared7305 First of all, thank you for the reply and your respectful tone in response to my feedback. Certainly this does have potential and there's nothing wrong with it being inspired by, or even loosely based on SMBZ. My only issue comes from the things being taken directly FROM SMBZ on quite a blatant level. Some of the scenes are being re-used almost beat for beat with SMBZ. Such as the fire duel, Bowser's monologue before sonic intervenes and other story points. I feel that the creator has enough talent to not have to lean on those things, and I have faith the story will become it's own thing in time, but it's absolutely necessary to the project's success that it does. In fact, as of this writing, SMBZ ep. 2 releases TOMORROW at 5PM Eastern. It therefore is crucial for both series that we don't have two versions of essentially the same story being told at the same time, in my opinion. It risks splitting the audience and causing at least some level of confusion. As i said: The best parts of this are when it's doing it's own thing anyway, so I really am eager to see if it can continue to differentiate itself. :)
My guy. I can't even describe how amazing that was. You freakin' KILLED IT! Although next time, I'd recommend having the premier up for a day to build up hype. Would of loved to be here live, but since I didn't know about it ahead of time I missed it.
Alright, I'll say this first. This has potential. I can tell that a lot of time and effort went into making this, and it shows, but there are some areas that could be improved upon. The plot is the first immediate issue I see. Here's a summary: Metal Sonic betrays Eggman, becoming Mecha Sonic (or Metallix) in the process. Because of this, the Chaos Emeralds are sent to the Mushroom Kingdom. The Mario Bros. are enjoying a time of peace after a recent victory over Bowser, who is preparing for his next move. The Wario Bros. are up to no good, but they prove to be no match for the Mario Bros. Bowser then attacks. Luigi is incapacitated in some way, but Mario pulls out a power-up to win the battle. Bowser then pulls a new power-up of his own and proceeds to curb-stomp Mario. Mario is only saved because Sonic is able to surprise Bowser, removing his power-up. Sonic and Tails then explain the Chaos Emeralds and the alternate universe to Mario and co. Now, that is a decent plot on its own, but it has been done by every series like this since Super Mario Bros. Z _5 years ago_. And, judging by the opening, there won't be a ton of deviation from the basic plot that Mario Z did. Which is fine, but it means that you are going to have to work extra hard in other areas in order for this to forge its own identity. Your fight choreography was, but slow. You did some cool things with both the Fire Flower and the Clown Car, both of which I would love to see more of. The issue comes from the way the individual attacks are set up. Every move is separate and hyped up. This can work occasionally for bigger attacks, but when it is on every move, the fight drags on and there is no flow. My suggestion would be to only hype up on big attacks, a standard punch doesn't need a full second to build up. In addition, chain moves together. Don't just throw a single blow out, pull back, rinse and repeat. Let one move flow into the next. It's a small change, but it will show. Overall, the biggest problem you are going to face is identity. This isn't a _new_ idea. Everything here has been done before, so you need to step up to the plate to show that this is more than just another Mario Z clone. Like I said at the beginning, this has potential. This first episode was a good intro to what we should expect from this series going forward. Now it's time to rise to the challenge. Keep it simple.
I always wanted to see a series like this where Tails actually gets a piece of the spotlight. The animation is so smooth, too! I'm really looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Me before the premiere and watching the video: Are you guys ready to rumble before it will might happen in this Episode of *Super Mario Bros. Calamity* stay tuned
no disrespect to anyone but man this was amazing no tournament ark in the begining which is something too many people do now days awesome backstory where we see metal sonic actually get turned into this upgraded version of himself and where we actually see the backstory of how bowser finds the gem the writing was great and so was the passion put into the project you can feel it through the screen and don't even get me started on the amazing music selection whether it's the into, action scenes, or villain dialog this hits hard thank you i hope you do more with this
Holy freaking cow! And here I thought I was waiting months for a 5-minute video. Nope. This man gives us a full-length episode. I am beyond amazed and my expectations were completely blown away. Excellent work Munky. Excellent work.
truly a masterpiece, one of the best smbz au out there, really liked how the chaos emeralds seems to hve a will to be used and unleash their power no matter for what reason.
The clown car fight made it feel like a legitimate threat, I love that, especially the sound design, it's great. The pace is really slow though, big impact hits should be more rare, other than that you have potential, please do more than 2 episodes.
10:57 "Excuse me waiter, there's some Mario in my Luigi soup, thank you" Jokes aside, everything about this episode was AMAZING! The beginning was truly wonderful, and how well you executed the Metallix appearing. I also gotta love how Bowser got visions from the past about Sonic's battles and how he became Super. That Mario Bros. Vs. Wario Bros. was *chef kiss* splendid, funny and you can totally see the rivalry between both teams. 💕 And for a moment, in the Mario vs Wario part at 10:31 I was sure Wario was gonna put a fast one on Mario's face, I mean knowing how much of an ass Wario can be xD That Mario Bros. Vs. Bowser was intense. And man, at 16:06 you can totally see how scared Mario was when he was checking on Luigi. Pure emotions shown, shock and despair for a second and then relief and then anger. Truly wonderful 😭💕 17:16 HE REMEMBERED THE SONIC PUNCH! I- 😍💕💕💕 Yoooo! Seeing Bowser fighting like his son Jr. in the Koopa Clown Car was the greatest thing I ever seen, such a nice wholesome touch there 😭💕 22:36 SOOONICCCCCC!!! WHERE ARE Y- 22:50 Oh there you are... WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG AAAA!? 23:51 It was at this moment... Bowser knew, he fucked up. He fucked up REAL bad. 24:26 TEAM MARIONIC TIME, LET'S GOOOOO!!! ❤💙 26:14 Ah yes, the classic Sonic dragging Mario everywhere he goes. 🤣💕 I simply love this episode so much, great job, Monky! 😭💕
just wanted to say that this is amazing work and i am looking forward to this series. if there is a great way to support it, let me and the others know. i really want to see this thing come to fruition. Great job as always and look forward to seeing the next episode.
Hot damn you Munky boi! i'd say all your hard efforts into making this episode certainly payed off! Looking forward to the future of your talented skills! ^^

@@234SuperSimi Shit then. Haha I dunno what's going on there, but you're making it sound more...idk, impromptu(?), than it seems. Whatever it is, hopefully it gets resolved properly
Not gonna lie, i really liked where this was heading. I'm sorry the series didnt work out with you tho, but i wanna let you know i did geniually enjoy this, and i was even practicing my voice acting with this, so i just wanted to let you know. I hope life is treating you well now, and i hope you have a good one ^^
This was freakin' EPIC!!! I could tell it was inspired by SMBZ, but you added some awesome touches that made it stand out, even from the SMBZ Remastered episode! Similarities: Yeah, narrative structure-wise, it's very similar to its inspiration: An innocent (before, just a Goomba, but now it's a Blue Toad with a legendary name) gets destroyed by Metal Sonic because he happens to be carrying a Chaos Emerald, The Wario Bros. fight the Mario Bros, quickly get defeated, only for the Mario Bros. to have to face off against Bowser. Then, just when it seems like they've bested him for good, Bowser pulls out a trump card (before, a Metal Mushroom. Now, a super-charged Clown Car) and just when it seems like Mario is down for the count, two mysterious strangers save him from death. Differences: Instead of a Kart race, or a Smash Tournament, the Mario Bros, Toadsworth, and Peach are just having a calm picnic, which helps lower the tension so that you don't expect Wario and Waluigi to pop out of nowhere and challenge them. Of course, the Wario Bros. are no match for their heroic counterparts, but then Bowser decides to crash the party even more, but saves his ace-in-the-hole for later. During a particular nasty scene in the battle, Luigi gets badly hurt and Mario stops everything to make sure he's still breathing, which I thought was a nice touch and showcases their brotherly bond with each other. Then, after the Princess proves that she's actually useful by giving Mario a Fire Flower, it seems like Mario has all he needs to defeat Bowser. Unfortunately, that's not the case and Mario is about to be defeated for good. In the original, Sonic and Shadow show up at the last moment to send Kamek flying and break Bowser's metal shell, but in this one, we get my favorite part: a Mario/Sonic/Tails team-up to defeat Bowser AND Kamek in one go! Originality: 7/10 It could do more in the future to separate itself from its predecessor. For a setup, though, it's pretty good and has just enough differences and subtle nuances in the narrative to tip the scale. Execution: 11/10 The little touches and nuances in narrative that this episode has blows even the remastered version of SMBZ out of the water! A lot of love is going into this series and it shows. Animation: 10/10 The animation is flawless, from what I can see, and even if there are mistakes, I'm too busy getting roped into the excitement to notice or care. Despite being 2D sprites, the camera angling and dramatic shots give the entire animation a 3D feel. Overall: 9/10 Super Mario Bros. Calamity is proving that it's going to be one EPIC series, improving upon the legacy of its 2007 inspiration _and_ the 2019 remaster of the first episode! As a first episode of the series, this is really making me want to see more, and I'm expecting great things coming from this series in the future!
OMFG, THIS WAS AMAZING!!, AMAZING FUCKIN JOB!!!! This was completely worth the wait, love every single thing about this animation, can't wait to see more, best of luck for you on continuing this series!
25:29 I feel moments like this could be a seed that could be harvested from increase the potential and dynamic in this series. For example, now that Mario has learned of Tails's flight and compassionate assistance, he can begin to put his trust in him in future fights and perhaps develop cooperative counterattacks and synergy (maybe?). And that's just *one* way of salvaging or paying off that particular moment. (If you see this kind of thing in a future episode, you're welcome :)
So I'll be honest, I was half expecting Bowser to get some uber power up from the Chaos Emerald. Imagine my surprise when you took it in a different direction and powered up the Clown Car instead. You definitely got a subscriber out of this and I look forward to seeing more.
Does that really matter? I don't think so. There are plenty of franchises with the same or similar premises that turn out quite differently to each other, and this one has already proven itself to be pretty unique from SMBZ and the rest of the SMBZ-inspired shows like it. Heck, Dragon Ball's basic premise of "get the seven title orbs before bad guys do" sustained it for quite a while, and honestly the Chaos Emeralds are way more dangerous and have way more potential individually.
because all these fanmade smbz series start with the same plot, otherwise the protag will be not mario and sonic again. super mario bros gt was similar but with the change of bowser battle (the ep.2 before re-remake was good)
this comes out and a few days later mark haynes releases his second episode of his smbz remake. This is taking me back to my high school days. Great series. please keep up the great work. Remember never feel afraid to ask for help in the fan community. I would hate to see this series be discontinued. I want yall to finish this someday!
I have watch this episode of SMBC (Super Mario Bros Calamity) and I have to say that you did a great job on it. It blow me away when it got to the double fight scenes with Bowser. I'm looking forward for the next episode of SMBC. Keep up the good work dude.
Munkyboi more like holycrapthiswasreallycoolboi. Holy crap this was really cool. You've long been my favourite Sonic sprite animator, and it feels like it's been AGES since I last saw any Sonic fan story setting propping itself up with this sense of ambitious. Very excited to see how this continues in the future!
It's like SMBZ but Sonics friends aren't flipping dead! Only thing I can say against it is that Bowser's dialogue is a lot more refined than what you'd expect out of him
That is a big plus. I'm sure in his original script Alvin Earthworm was going to bring them back, likely with the aid of the Star Spirits, but that was just dark. Cream's like eight years old.
@@savagewolver8541 I disagree. It being dark was what made it a great story, and Mark never intended for Sonic's friends to come back to life. It would've just ruined the whole story.
This looks absolutely, 100%, pure awesome. It really captures the "feel" of Super Mario Bros Z, but it puts its own spin on things, so it comes off as fresh and not just somebody trying to ride Alvin-Earthworm's coattails. In particular, I love the much more confident and brave characterization you gave to Luigi - I know that he's supposed to be a bit of a coward compared to Mario, but even so, SMBZ feels like it leans a bit too much on making him the series cowardly butt-monkey. And extra points for not using Shadow, whom really isn't one of my favorite Sonic characters, as a "representative" - a trio/trio setup of Mario/Luigi/Yoshi and Sonic/Tails/Knuckles feels far more on point to me.
It definitely shows that you worked rly hard on this. This was some Awesome Sprite Animation! Great job! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 Can’t wait for the next one! 22:50 Also The minute sonic showed up I couldn’t stop smiling
Hello there, I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate the work you do and I hope you never feel disgruntled by "fans" of smbz who feel like you've "ripped off" mark. Those people clearly dont understand inspiration vs copying and I can tell that you were inspired by smbz and is taking the story in another direction. You, smbdx, and smbz all have a spot in my heart and I hope you never feel disgruntled to stop due to stupid "fans".
You know, I wouldn’t mind if Luigi talks every now and then. He is the only Mario brother who talks when we control Mario in the games (like Galaxy and Odyssey)
I feel like he doesn’t so it’s similar to the M&L games. Neither Mario or Luigi talk in those and since the sprites are from there, it makes sense why they wouldn’t talk
honestly, tails brings something to the group that not many others can contribute, so i'm glad he's in this series and very prominent! Amazing work all in all!
its finally here and oh boy this is lookin really great, especially the sprite animation its top notch and you get a first impression on how the series is gonna play out with episode one, and the intro is very fancy with the kickass dragon ball music in the background, plus the fighting animation is great it isn't very fast pace like most out there (not hating or anything) sometimes I prefer the slow route so we can see the animation at it's best, still a very nice first episode can't wait for the next one!
This is a very promising start, though there's definitely still room for improvement. The two main things I think could use work are the fight choreography, and being less derivative of Super Mario Bros Z. With the fight choreography in particular there were quite a few points where the characters kind of just stand there looking shocked while an opponent rushes at them and waits to get hit, and certain parts seemed practically ripped from the reboot of SMBZ's first episode. As for being less derivative of SMBZ, the structure of the episode was extremely similar. Starts with Metallix appearing in the Mushroom Kingdom, goes to Mario (and Luigi) fighting Wario and Waluigi, they're defeated but then Bowser shows up, Luigi gets knocked tf out, Mario gains the upper hand with a Fire Flower, Bowser pulls out his trump card, Sonic (and now Tails) show up to save the day and Bowser gets defeated. There could also stand to be less music used that's the exact same as SMBZ in the same situations.
LOL I do prefer if sprite animations didn't do that waiting time thing. Unfortunately, that kind of pacing seems to be an element of sprite animations...
okay, full review time: the two most important aspects of a cartoon are the writing and the general animation, and i’m pleased to see a lack of any grammatical errors or general weirdness in the dialogue. the picnic scene didn’t feel super natural, but that’s a nitpick. i really like the characterization of bowser, but i think you played up his “wham lines” a bit too much. he did the “game over, mario!” thing like, three separate times in this, and i don’t think you really earned it. i noticed a lot of things like that in this episode. i know i shouldn’t be deducting points for stealing beats from smbz because this is obviously meant to be your own take on the concept, but the wario and waluigi fight in particular felt very by-the-numbers. it’s like that only happened because “oh, smbz did it.” they weren’t fighting for any reason, it just filled time. the reason it worked in smbz was because 1. they used it to set the scene of bowser crashing a competitive event, and 2. mark used wario and waluigi’s abilities to create interesting dynamics and tell jokes in the fight itself. on the topic of the fight scenes, i found them to be really slow-paced and kind of uninteresting. every time a character throws a punch, it feels like it’s meant to be a combo finisher, but they don’t actually exchange hits very often. it’s just “character throws punch, other character recoils” on repeat. you’re good at camera angles, and this would be MUCH worse if the scenes were totally flat, but it doesn’t save it from being kind of boring. you didn’t really do too much to make the fights distinct, either. they’re all just hitting each other, whereas smbz makes an effort to focus on interacting with various setpieces and introducing new mechanics in every battle. i honestly just sighed when peach brought in the fire flower because that’s SO overplayed and i knew that you probably wouldn’t be able to do anything new with it, and i was right. gripes aside, there’s a lot going for this show. i really enjoyed getting to see metal sonic’s transformation, even if his motivation for wanting chaos emeralds wasn’t really explained. i also like when shows utilize more of the sonic cast than just sonic and shadow, so the inclusion of tails and knuckles is absolutely a welcome one. as a whole, i really like what i’m seeing, and there is an ENDLESS amount of potential for this series. your writing is definitely competent and that’s better than i can say for most sprite series out there. your animation is really nice and i’m really interested to see you try more advanced choreography in the fights. the most important thing i can say here is honestly just try to set yourself apart! there is a massive slew of smbz knockoffs, and most of them are basically the same as this episode. you need to have some interesting new take on the plot, or people aren’t really going to remember you. having tails and knuckles here is a good start, but falling back on the koopa bros. and basilisx might be a bad idea. keep your options open!
@@undeadbatman9762 That's nice. I have met other people I've have discussions with before on videos with no discussion involved too. I watch a variety of videos so it's likely one of them will also be an interest of someone I have encountered before.
So you'll all knew I would show at some point. Welp time tear this one apart. I will say thank you for crediting me in the credits, but I'm still critic in my opinion, and I felt like I need to rate this right. This my critique, not harassment. Here's my comment review of what I think. Buckle up folks this ones a doozy, and a Big wall. For starters I already had a problem even before viewing this video, (because I seen some work in progress clips and shots, from the animator) its the same old, same old, Metal sonic gets too powerful, becomes mecha-sonic/metalix, goes to marios world to collect the chaos emeralds, bowser gets the shit beaten out of him in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd episode, because first boss syndrome, then sonic and friends appears to save the day, but asks Mario and friends for help to beat said robot on a rampage. Where have I heard this trope before? Twice as far as I can count back (unless you don't Count Chaos Emerald DX). I am aware that their is another sub plot that ties into this series(which I wont talk about because secrets), however as of now I'm not that all to convinced at this current time, however I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt once I see it progress over time. Upon before viewing I had my expectations lowered, and Prepped for the same thing similar to what was seen with Smaher's series, and Mark's series. And of course my analysis was correct. This first episode is AGAIN another "Retread" from the first episode of smbz, and its reboot, and to some extent, smashers series. While not copied scene from scene completely, and with the location change added in this, I just can't shake the feeling that certain parts of this are the same. Tell me if you heard or seen this pattern before. 1. Mecha sonic/Metalix appears in marios world and ether attacks or kills a creature holding a chaos emerald, unknown to what they got themselves into. 2. Mario and Luigi fights the Wario brothers. 3. Bowser crashes the scene and fights mario. 4. Mario beats bowser, but Bowser has a trump card under his sleeve, and goes to a second phase, and beats the shit out of mario. 5. Sonic shows up to save mario in the nick of time, and bowser gets clobbered, but sonic Needs mario's help. If you reconized these series of events from SMBZ, and Smashers series, then you understand to a degree what my problem is. These are the key elements that showcase another smbz Retread. And mecha sonic being main threat, AGAIN, is what I have a problem with going forward. I don't care too if its metalix ether, its still metal sonic powered up by some unknown force, because metalix was awesome in smbz. I will say the added sequence of events in this episode did have something good going for them, but would've been much better if the events listed above were excluded, and this episode was retold differently. Example: Why dose it have to be bowser first, and not later down the line in the middle of the series? Some paper mario games place a bowser fight in the middle of the game. Why couldn't the opening fight have something to do with another mario villain other than the wario bros, or bowser? Excluding these char's would've made things much different, and would made things feel fresh, but that my opinion. Also why the opening scene with metalix attacking a toad? I already have a problem with Metalix being the main bad, but could you at least made this scene different? Like IDK metalix ends up in forest or something, and sense a emerald from distance, and goes unnoticed for a while and would be another far cry from smbz. It would have made his presence more hidden to the hero's, in my opinion, and when essences of him dose eventually discovered it would turn the stakes up a bit. Missed opportunity for a good plot line, in my opinion. Now for some positives. The picnic setting was a decent set up to open the series, and a far cry away from the standard smbz fighter tournament or race track event setting. The egg man opening, while bland for my taste, was decent enough. ANIMATION. I've seen better paced animation thats way better than this, however it is at its hardest here, at least. I can tell by the pacing and timing of each shot, that the animator did put his back into this episode. Although I was not blown away completely due to most shots being a copied similarity or reference to smbz. The new stuff however did catch my interest a bit. Still despite my grips and complaints with these references, the animation is at a strong point here. My opinion on the fight scenes. Again the Wario and waluigi fight just didn't stick with me, because of the timing of events. I will say that the moves were good, but the fight itself just feels like its there because smbz, and then its just gone. Nothing to see here. It felt more like a shoe-horned fight that just didn't need to be there to begin with. The bowser fight phase one didn't stick with me ether, as their was to many copied references to SMBZ reboot episode. Its here I felt like I was watching Parts of "star wars The force awakens," because of these references. Some parts of this fight Just didn't feel new to me. Well except for some good move sets and camera angles, but thats not saying much. The second bowser Phase though did peak my interest a bit more though. While bowser in Smbz used a metal power up, and bowser in Smashers series gained Oni's power in those series, Bowser here decides to power up his clown car for a change, which I will say is the best part of this episode. It doesn't overstay its welcome, and their is some good stuff to be had here at this point. But will say some of the move sets and camera angles were pretty good. The sonic rescue, all be it a retread of Smashers series with that one moment where sonic final fights bowser for once, was also pretty good here as well, and the inclusion of tails was a nice touch too (You've now please a very grumpy turtle on discord). With that said, this scene alone gets more points from me. Visuals: Okay so the choice of visuals was decent, but I felt it was too blurry in some area. I understand most of it was caused by the maple story sprites used in the video, but I think for future reference maybe use more sharper sprites. Not to mention I spotted 2 graphics that felt out of place, mainly a smoke dust that looked like it was a poor mans flash drawing, and a sonic portrait during the bowser fight. The lighting and color effect was pretty good as well. Final thoughts: If watching this episode for the story alone, I'm going to say for now that you are going to be disappointed, because it dose retread plot elements from SMBZ and Smasher's series. Theirs not much originality in the story except with a few sequences, and to some degree of what I was told about in a future epidose or 2, is said to make things better, but your not going to find anything interesting in this episode. At least Munky contained the bowser fight in this episode alone, and not splitting it into 2 episodes, that I'll give him a point for. The animation however dose have its strong points, but copy's and references smbz too much to a point where I almost found it tasteless. Luckily some of the New stuff here kelped me interested, but just barely. Final Vertic: --------------------------------------------------- I didn't see this having a perfect score to begin with. I wanted to put this between a 9 and 8, but after watching this, my minds eye has changed a bit. That being said, the score for this episode is: 8/10 It almost went between 7 and 8 for me, because I really wasn't that impressed with the story, or blown away that much by the animation, but this was close however. The animation and new stuff kelped the rating high, but I expect more effort in the story in a future episode. Still I wish the best of luck for next time. ---------------------------------------------------------- Oh yeah thanks for the credit in the credits section.
Dope ass episode that made all the 30 minutes entertaining and had me hooked to watch! Fight Scenes were awesome, the story execution was great (Granted it pretty follows the same trope as most Sonic x Mario crossovers, but eh I can't really come up with anything better so if it ain't broke don't fix it). There also a couple of small parts I liked too. Such as the DBS Aura Burst SFX (Feels good to see it used in certain situations), I found it interesting you had Bowser use the Clown Car like Bowser Jr. does in Smash Bros. But it also makes sense Bowser doesn't particularly know how to use it himself, best bet is to use it as a power source for somethin else. I found it a little clever you used the DBS Super Saiyan Blue Sound Effect for a Chaos Emerald Aura Sound. I liked how you portrayed Sonic since he's being introduced here. Very nice Episode ^w^ Wish I could animate sprites like you do since I know it ain't easy!
yay, another mario/sonic sprite series that won't make it passed episode 2-3 Edit: ok this seems a little mean, this has so much effort put into it, but i've seen so many sprite series like this that has so much promise, but never make it far, which leaves me very sad.
This series shouldn't be canceled, I quite like it, you should keep making more episodes of this series, don't worry about taking aspects from Super Mario Bros Z, just say that it was inspired by it.
Watching this reminded me why I liked Sonic as a kid. It's been so long since I've had that feeling, the childlike joy of 'Oh man, Sonic's so cool!' Just imagine if all Sonic media managed to capture that feeling.
So judging by the fact Eggman is back and has the Ruby, I assume this is after the events of Sonic Forces, and for Mario, after the events of Super Mario Odyssey. This looks extremely promising!
Not gonna lie, this does kinda feel like an SMBZ clone. That...being...said! The animations are fluid, Metal Sonic's transformation was freaking awesome, and everyone's personalities are one point. I'm now deeply invested, and I look forward to more of your work.
This is pretty good, really enjoyed, clean animation and an interesting setup, the way you make the scenarios felt so natural and incredible, awesome work.
The amount of love that went into the Sonic fight sequence, he must have really wanted to show off what Sonic would be capable of if he was fighting at speed and for that Im eternally grateful because it made for some excellent viewing.
Aaand sub! Fantastic work on this! I don't know what I can say that hasn't by now, but this was on point. Battle choreography, story, everything! Even the little break in action where Mario checks on Luigi, that was a nice touch. Keep it up. Look forward to what else you can do my friend.
Dude I respect ur decision as long as ur able to be happy and do what u love
@@glass5886 I agree
Not to sound harsh but it was kind of expected. Although this series animation is great it is pretty obvious to just be another "smbz clone" just like all the other sprite animation series I've seen on RUclips. I Hope you'll be able to make a series in the future that has a little bit more creativity and planning. This short series was entertaining while it lasted
You should have remade this. Very good series idea.
I understand your decision.

SMC is still really good in its own right, in a way that SMBZ doesn't actually compare to
(EDIT: I should say "THEY don't have the same weight as the likes of/in SMBZ", and perhaps Super Rival Saga. Logic of Mario and Sonic sprite series:
1) *Mecha Sonic come back to the Mario world and search the emeralds*
2) *Wario and Waluigi fighting Mario and Luigi*
3) *Mario vs Bowser first fight with Fire Mario as power up included in advantage*
4) *Bowser use a power up and beat Mario*
5) *Sonic save Mario*
6) *Bowser and Kamek kicked out like Team Rocket*
7) *Presentation of Sonic and Co again*
8) *presentation of Chaos Emeralds and a adventure to find Chaos emeralds*
I think *SMBZ* have influenced his fans as well but honestly there too much series with same plot
these sprite animation are cleary a tribute to smbz (now continued with remake ep 2) so they start with the same plot, changing something. there are plenty of only mario or sonic fan animation without the Z part

16:00 just wanted to comment and say that this little real break in sequence was really good. Actually felt like there was something at stake there. Scene felt actually genuine, which is something I dont see a lot from a lot of the SMBZ fan genre.
Overthink.
This is like a parallel universe from the original SMBZ series and I love it. Amazing work!
Holy moly! I'll start with the positives:
- First, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY you know how to spell and write English dialog correctly.
Here's how i see it:
- Let me be terribly blunt: The big flaw your animation has right now, as of this one episode that's available, is that it suffers from the same thing all of the other animations do: *SMBZ ENVY!* - Look, I realize that more than likely it's not as if you don't have your own compelling story planned. :)
- Secondly, and this is a minor thing but something to consider: The use of Dragon Ball Super music comes across as a little cheesy.
Good luck from an SMBZ fan since day 1! I'm excited to see where this goes. Liked and Subbed.
dude that's a long paragraph 😂
@@Wertyber had to be done XD
Major Super Mario Bros Z vibes from this, and that’s such a good thing
I mean, it's the same concept, and at least one character is the same. (Still amazing tho)
My guy. I can't even describe how amazing that was. You freakin' KILLED IT!
Although next time, I'd recommend having the premier up for a day to build up hype. Would of loved to be here live, but since I didn't know about it ahead of time I missed it.

DUDE IM SO GLAD STUFF LIKE THIS IS STILL BEING MADE. AMAZING WORK
Alright, I'll say this first. This has potential. I can tell that a lot of time and effort went into making this, and it shows, but there are some areas that could be improved upon.
The plot is the first immediate issue I see. Here's a summary:
Metal Sonic betrays Eggman, becoming Mecha Sonic (or Metallix) in the process.
Yeah thanks.
definitely worth waiting for! animation was smooth and the storyline seems promising! good job my man can’t wait for episode two!

no disrespect to anyone but man this was amazing no tournament ark in the begining which is something too many people do now days awesome backstory where we see metal sonic actually get turned into this upgraded version of himself and where we actually see the backstory of how bowser finds the gem the writing was great and so was the passion put into the project you can feel it through the screen and don't even get me started on the amazing music selection whether it's the into, action scenes, or villain dialog this hits hard thank you i hope you do more with this
I loved Sonic's introduction, absolutely nailed it!
10:57 "Excuse me waiter, there's some Mario in my Luigi soup, thank you"
Jokes aside, everything about this episode was AMAZING!
And for a moment, in the Mario vs Wario part at 10:31 I was sure Wario was gonna put a fast one on Mario's face, I mean knowing how much of an ass Wario can be xD
That Mario Bros. Vs. Bowser was intense. And man, at 16:06 you can totally see how scared Mario was when he was checking on Luigi. Pure emotions shown, shock and despair for a second and then relief and then anger. Truly wonderful 😭💕
17:16 HE REMEMBERED THE SONIC PUNCH! I- 😍💕💕💕

Also one more thing. If possible, Could i voice over this?
I'm truly speechless. I've witnessed greatness I'II be looking forward to more project's from you, MunkyBoi. ✌😉

DUDE!! NEW SUBSCRIBER RIGHT HERE! I'LL BE WAITING FOR THE SECOND CHAPTER MY DUDE! KEEP GOING!!!
So will this plot be something beyond "Get the Emeralds before Mecha Sonic"?
Nope~
So far, nope.
That's what makes these so good
Does that really matter? I don't think so. There are plenty of franchises with the same or similar premises that turn out quite differently to each other, and this one has already proven itself to be pretty unique from SMBZ and the rest of the SMBZ-inspired shows like it. Heck, Dragon Ball's basic premise of "get the seven title orbs before bad guys do" sustained it for quite a while, and honestly the Chaos Emeralds are way more dangerous and have way more potential individually.
because all these fanmade smbz series start with the same plot, otherwise the protag will be not mario and sonic again. super mario bros gt was similar but with the change of bowser battle (the ep.2 before re-remake was good)
A Mario/Sonic crossover series? With bombastic art and music?

Honestly, all these animators should come together and create a sprite series. Just think how cool ot would look.
Yeah
Munkyboi more like holycrapthiswasreallycoolboi. Holy crap this was really cool.
@@Sharpteeth32 I suppose. Though it does leave it kinda lopsided with characters. Mostly mario, that is.
@@savagewolver8541 What do you mean?
@@savagewolver8541 I feel like killing off Sonic's cast worked really well for SMBZ though. Kept the cast from becoming too bloated.

He is the only Mario brother who talks when we control Mario in the games (like Galaxy and Odyssey)
luigis mansion he talks
I feel like he doesn’t so it’s similar to the M&L games. Neither Mario or Luigi talk in those and since the sprites are from there, it makes sense why they wouldn’t talk
Mario talks also lol
honestly, tails brings something to the group that not many others can contribute, so i'm glad he's in this series and very prominent!
Amazing work all in all!
This is beautiful the animation is fantastic and it must of took a long
its finally here and oh boy this is lookin really great, especially the sprite animation its top notch and you get a first impression on how the series is gonna play out with episode one, and the intro is very fancy with the kickass dragon ball music in the background, plus the fighting animation is great it isn't very fast pace like most out there (not hating or anything) sometimes I prefer the slow route so we can see the animation at it's best, still a very nice first episode can't wait for the next one!
Unfortunately, that kind of pacing seems to be an element of sprite animations...
okay, full review time:
the two most important aspects of a cartoon are the writing and the general animation, and i’m pleased to see a lack of any grammatical errors or general weirdness in the dialogue. the picnic scene didn’t feel super natural, but that’s a nitpick. i really like the characterization of bowser, but i think you played up his “wham lines” a bit too much. he did the “game over, mario!” thing like, three separate times in this, and i don’t think you really earned it.
i noticed a lot of things like that in this episode. i know i shouldn’t be deducting points for stealing beats from smbz because this is obviously meant to be your own take on the concept, but the wario and waluigi fight in particular felt very by-the-numbers. it’s like that only happened because “oh, smbz did it.” they weren’t fighting for any reason, it just filled time. the reason it worked in smbz was because 1. they used it to set the scene of bowser crashing a competitive event, and 2. mark used wario and waluigi’s abilities to create interesting dynamics and tell jokes in the fight itself.
on the topic of the fight scenes, i found them to be really slow-paced and kind of uninteresting. every time a character throws a punch, it feels like it’s meant to be a combo finisher, but they don’t actually exchange hits very often. it’s just “character throws punch, other character recoils” on repeat. you’re good at camera angles, and this would be MUCH worse if the scenes were totally flat, but it doesn’t save it from being kind of boring. you didn’t really do too much to make the fights distinct, either. they’re all just hitting each other, whereas smbz makes an effort to focus on interacting with various setpieces and introducing new mechanics in every battle. i honestly just sighed when peach brought in the fire flower because that’s SO overplayed and i knew that you probably wouldn’t be able to do anything new with it, and i was right.
gripes aside, there’s a lot going for this show. i really enjoyed getting to see metal sonic’s transformation, even if his motivation for wanting chaos emeralds wasn’t really explained. i also like when shows utilize more of the sonic cast than just sonic and shadow, so the inclusion of tails and knuckles is absolutely a welcome one. as a whole, i really like what i’m seeing, and there is an ENDLESS amount of potential for this series. your writing is definitely competent and that’s better than i can say for most sprite series out there. your animation is really nice and i’m really interested to see you try more advanced choreography in the fights.
the most important thing i can say here is honestly just try to set yourself apart! there is a massive slew of smbz knockoffs, and most of them are basically the same as this episode. you need to have some interesting new take on the plot, or people aren’t really going to remember you. having tails and knuckles here is a good start, but falling back on the koopa bros. and basilisx might be a bad idea. keep your options open!

Visuals:
Okay so the choice of visuals was decent, but I felt it was too blurry in some area.
Final thoughts:
If watching this episode for the story alone, I'm going to say for now that you are going to be disappointed, because it dose retread plot elements from SMBZ and Smasher's series.
Final Vertic:
---------------------------------------------------
I didn't see this having a perfect score to begin with. I wanted to put this between a 9 and 8, but after watching this, my minds eye has changed a bit. That being said, the score for this episode is:
8/10
It almost went between 7 and 8 for me, because I really wasn't that impressed with the story, or blown away that much by the animation, but this was close however. The animation and new stuff kelped the rating high, but I expect more effort in the story in a future episode.
Still I wish the best of luck for next time.

Oh yeah thanks for the credit in the credits section.
That's what a true essay is, but your essay is 100% accurate.
Interesting review, sir
Man ever since SMBZ returned everyone suddenly is doing their own take on Mario and Sonic but DBZ fighting
Honestly I feel like Mark Haynes should wrangle them all up and have em help him animate the actual series.
This was amazing man can’t wait for part but Ik it’s gonna take a while.
yay, another mario/sonic sprite series that won't make it passed episode 2-3
Edit: ok this seems a little mean, this has so much effort put into it, but i've seen so many sprite series like this that has so much promise, but never make it far, which leaves me very sad.
I mean you're not wrong that's usually how it is. And then years later they're remade rather than advancing the story.
People really, REALLY wants SMBZ to have an end, huh.
This series shouldn't be canceled, I quite like it, you should keep making more episodes of this series, don't worry about taking aspects from Super Mario Bros Z, just say that it was inspired by it.
Bowser looks like he's out for blood.
29:27 easter egg detected xDD
Nice animation man!
This comment was made after the intro.
All I can say is: *MAKE MORE*
DONT EVER GIVE UP ON YOUR ANIMATION DREAMS AND BECOME THE BEST TO EVER BE!!!!!
Watching this reminded me why I liked Sonic as a kid. It's been so long since I've had that feeling, the childlike joy of 'Oh man, Sonic's so cool!'
Just imagine if all Sonic media managed to capture that feeling.
So judging by the fact Eggman is back and has the Ruby, I assume this is after the events of Sonic Forces, and for Mario, after the events of Super Mario Odyssey. This looks extremely promising!
Someone tell Nintendo to get Sega to hire this guy and/or Mark Haynes and save their franchise
You have amazing talent my g
That was incredible 10/10
When are you going to do the next episode
Yeah, where you at?
