And yet, look at the promotional poster. There is a pretty blond with a very dominating posture, a woman on the right who seems to be a bit taller than all the rest of the women, with her arms crossed. In fact, the rest of the women are turned away from the camera 1/4, posed with a closed posture that could be interpreted as defensive or uncertain, all sort of blending into the background. The men are also posed with 2 men with their hands in their pockets, with an alternating arms folded and, possibly the only variance, two with unfolded arms in different positions. Without knowing it, the social structure is immediately established, without saying a word. We already see the people we want to be, and will possibly root for because they are presented as strong or cunning. Reality programs separate us , makes us voyeurs, and let us make judgement in the comfort of our own homes. Your intentions may be good, but this smacks of the same packaged nonsense that is eaten up here in the U.S. All filler, not particularly good for you, touting many benefits without encouraging action.
I think you are just overthinking the posture.. couldnt it be just it shows confidence as an individual? There is nothing wrong with the promotional poster.
Well said. I totally agree that TV can be used as a tool. Awesome speech.
What was with the cheap shot at Elon Musk?
