    1. Tilt feet to the left
    2. Sweep feet forward
    3. Have your ankles knees and hips load at the same time and the basketball too so you load the spring then explode the spring
    4. Have your chest follow the basketball down
    5. Have your pointer and middle finger touch the ball last
    6. Shooting elbow above your eyeline

I love these videos. I wish they were around 30+ years ago. Basketball is my first love. And even though I only play basketball about once a week it has really helped me be an even better shooter that I was when I was in my early 20's. I try to pass on some of shooting tips to the young kids I play with. But I try not to share too much, because I still want to be better than them when we play against one another.

Thanks for this I really appreciate it. backstory is all my friends joined a basketball team, except for me and my best friend since we didn’t have enough time for training. Everyday a recess and lunch, me and my friend would sit out and play something else, and if we asked to play, we would be told to go away. it felt like there wasn’t a friend group anymore. Then, I stumbled across this video, and the next week I was finally able to compete against my friends in one way or another. And don’t worry I taught my friend too😊

I watch this guy a lot, but I think the part about lowering the ball as the body lowers needs revision. Think about it like this, everything is a 2 count. For instance, it’s 2 motions from when you lower the body to the 2nd movement which is when you jump up. And when it comes to your arms, no matter how you try to explain away, every shot is really 2 motions not including the deep motion. In other words, there’s the shot pocket part and then the 2nd part which is the follow-through. For timing purposes and maximum power distribution, you need to link these two extremities.

Curry also has peaches being square to the basketball n he does not do that himself he is slightly turned he also say no palm on the ball and he has a hell lot of it a lot of nba players r talented and work hard but don’t know wtf they r doing in detail they just damn good at what they do and might not know the science behind. Sometimes curry has a goose neck sometimes he doesn’t and it’s 2 fingers snapping the ball. Listen to everyone advice do. Some research and decide for urself what is then better option

I have a question, how am I able to effectively play defence with my team? When we play 3 on 3 or more, my mind goes all over the place since I do not know how to properly play defence when the person I am defending does not have the ball. I don't know the exact moments of when to leave my man to double team or help a teammate out. Also when we play zone defence, I just see the other team run all around which makes my head just go in circles. I am a good defender 1 on 1 but I struggle to play defence with multiple people.

This is a loaded question. In man to man. You want to be able to see your man and the ball at all times. If the man with the ball passes to your man you want to be able to close out to your man on the airtime of the pass. When to help? When your teammate is beat. If he is not beat, don’t help.

this is not true. everyone has his own individual style of shooting. at the end its important how comfortable it is for yourself. i shoot totally different like in this video is showed. i tried it for 3 months without falling back to my old style. but no chance. after i got back to my own preference style i was able to shoot better in relation to this style showed in the video. so at the end find your own style which is comfortable for you and train very hard. there is no formula in shooting.
