For those of you who think modern weapons like the Glock don't belong in fallout the plasma pistols from fo1/2 aka the plasma defender from New Vegas is a Glock
Interesting point, I recall seeing that before but didn't connect the two.
The pink glock might be a bit much for some but in fairness that gun is a unique weapon within the Another Millenia weapon bundle. Most don't look nearly as outlandish.
@@nvRangerAlso the fact that most weapons in fallout are based on modern weapons (please note when using the word "modern" this extends back to around the 50s). Like in base New Vegas. The all American, or Like any shotgun like the Dinner Bell, or Lever Action.
modern weapons can belong in fallout if they look more fantastical and stylized rather than tactical
It would be cool if you could make this a perk that needs a certain amount of agility to get and uses ap.

Do you have a full modlist? I want to get my game to look like this, including lighting, weapon mechanics, visuals etc
unfortunately I do not and my current modlist is a TTW one that I am tweaking cause it's not correct yet.
I would recommend starting with the mod guide Viva New Vegas and then building ontop of that. New Vegas Reloaded which you can get thru their discord, and then Desert Natural Weathers + Redux are at work here for the visuals. You can find the latter two on the Nexus.
Use them together at your own risk tho. Reloaded should do enough on its own tbh

Hey man I have a question about NV reloaded in reference to this video. I'm currently running a similar modlist with DNW with the realism redux and reshade. I'm on a fairly high end PC with a 4080, but the moment I try to play with reloaded my frames drop from 140+ to around 50. I think reloaded looks great but I can't get it to run smoothly. Especially with all the combat enhancing mods and B42 inertia, it all feels way too choppy trying to play at that framerate. Your gameplay looks incredibly smooth, is there a way around optimizing reloaded to get a decent framerate? Or is that kind of performance drop just expected?
I think the performance drop is expected. I also don’t believe it is meant to be run with DNW and the redux although I have done that as well. I generally only run the combo for recording or screen shot purposes.
@@nvRanger is it possible to get a decent playable frame rate with NVR though? I’ve done some troubleshooting and even with the only mods active in my mod list being the VNV bug fixes and stability patches, I still can’t break 60fps with NVR on. So I’ve narrowed down the performance issues being 100% related to NVR. Perhaps it’s my resolution playing at 4k? Idk man I’m kind of at my wits end. NVR looks amazing but it makes my game almost unplayable which sucks because I’d love to use it for a play through. I’m hoping that it’s just like one setting or something obscure I screwed up with NVR but I’ve tried almost everything including swapping over to DXVK. Are you able to use reloaded for a typical playthrough or is it just for recording purposes? I’d honestly be content with like 70-80 fps, I’d think with my rig that should be possible sure enough anytime I boot my game up with NVR and create a new save I can’t break like 55fps.
@@Chalaxandler I would assume it is the 4K resolution plus this is a decade+ old game. Unfortunately you have to decide whether you want frames or visuals it seems. I do not use 4k
What mod are you using for your weapon reloads and making your weapon sway when moving
Likely B42 inertia, rockomotion type mod, and knvse plus hitman animations. Sorry I’m not at my pc otherwise I’d link some stuff for ya.

FPS leaning is scuffed, npcs dont know how to handle it and it seems incredibly OP from my testing, although there has been an update since i tried it last
completely fair, the game is certainly not tailored around these abilities. The world design nor the a.i. were ever prepared for a cyberpunk dashing courier who can lean, sprint, and control time.

Unfortunately I do not and I do not have this mod list any more. There are more modern or altered versions of many of these mods as well so it is a bit outdated.

to get started with a stable game. Then slowly add mods and pay attention to your load order. Keep large game patches up top along with UI mods. Keep weather at the bottom, and read mod page descriptions. Good luck my man.

Honestly the default with the borders removed. Forget the setting. Plus I have the desert natural weathers reshade on. I don’t actively use reloaded with the actual desert natural weathers mod. Too unstable.

i'll be honest, after over a decade of playing this game i am not going to miss its vanilla gunplay
@@nvRanger fair enought. I agree with you on that, vanilla gunplay is garbage. I started modding nv recently and it completely changed the game for better, now I won't miss 10 shots out of the 15 shots that I fired bacause the bullets now actually hit the target.
@@ferguson5786 Yea there no reason not to mod the game if you are on pc. It can do so much for a playthrough and even bring back cut material that was intended to be in the game anyway.
