Final get an opportunity to see what people mean whenever they discuss Legion territory and the way their civilization works. Im excited to add it in for my future playthroughs.
I always thought it unfulfilling that we only saw the Legion from a military side. Making inferences from that would be like taking a guess on how America looks based on their presence in Iraq. NCR isn't much better in F:NV itself, though technically most of the map is supposed to be their territory, but we saw them in Fallout 2. I wish we saw more of the east like in the planned Van Buren
@@filipzietek5146 I know the Mojave isn't a state in the NCR, that's why I said it's not much better than the legion in this regard. It's NCR territory because NCR showed up there first and had complete control of the western bank of the Colorado until legion crashed their party
Yea it has its ups and downs. It makes the Legion very mysterious and I think has partly led to them becoming a fan favorite faction in many ways. On the other hand, if we were able to eventually enter a town like this and see the other side of things, it would have added a lot to the story on nv
In Fallout 2 the only NCR territory we get to see is Shady Sands. By then, the NCR had taken control of the entire Fallout 1 map bar Lost Hills. I wish we could've seen the Hub or The Boneyard under the control of the NCR.
@@nvRanger which is no surprise with how sparse their presence really is in the game, they're supposed to be on par with the NCR, yet hardly anything aside from a few campsites and ambush patrols placed around the map. i'd say we'd need more House and Brotherhood Mods to help flush them out more, even though i know the latter is meant to be minimal. hell i'd even take some Khan Mods as well, there are a few of those.
Yeah I think it’s a bigger problem for the reason they didn’t think it would be a problem Most people aren’t going to side with the legion in a first or even second or even maybe third play through you start in NCR territory across the map from the legion and they’re painted as the bad guys However because you try for a legion play through when you’re so experienced with the game that it’s super obvious how shallow their content is

Yea you gotta do a fresh install. Clean it all out, follow viva new vegas. They eventually have an auto install wabbajack, just look it up if you’re unfamiliar. I’m in the process my self from a messy game state.

I have another video that explores the areas just outside the map. you’d be closer if New Vegas was one giant open world, but it’s separated by a loading screen and on the other side of the Colorado river. The Searchlight road leads to Bullhead City/Laughlin
@@funrun07haan50 Basically, Dry Wells is on the other side of the river on the map, but even if you went that way ingame, you wouldn't find it because it's a separate space, like the DLC maps. What you would find by carrying on south is the IRL city of Bullhead City/Laughlin, which are actually fleshed out in a mod called New Vegas Railroads, though it's an older mod, comments suggest it still works.
I wonder if this will be compatible with that new world space mod thats gonna add more arizona stuff to the map adding another 3rd to the main game area, nova arizona or something?

Not only the official stuff, but there's also Fallout Sonora and Fallout Nevada. In any case, I wish you many good videos for the future!
Out here correcting the RUclips music scene. I’ll check out those soundtracks. I love Fallout music but it can be a bit bleak or dramatic which doesn’t always match the tone I’m going for.
I'll say Nova Arizona, but it is a WIP, and the dev of this mod is, as stated, working on a similar mod for the NCR's Long 15. Someguy2000's Russel has a large portion that takes you to a new NCR town just outside the Mojave in a canyon with a whole questline and such that I recall being good. Older mod though.
Well, as much as love the idea of it, it seems kinda off the theme of Legion when I look at the bits on video, alcohol? Guns? Actual whole buildings? (The last one isn't bad, just makes me wonder.) and worst of all, Decanus writing on paper machine?
Alcohol? The bars in the town don’t serve alcohol. The Legion does use guns and in sections where you might end up fighting, they use primarily melee. I don’t get what you mean by “whole. buildings” being a problem. They have many towns, they’re trying to take new vegas. Why can’t they live in buildings or write?
1. There is no alcohol, as the bartender states it right at the beginning of his dialogue. 2. The Legion is occasionally seen using guns towards the end of the base game. They don't ban technology so to speak, they see it as something you need to deserve the right to use. Same thing with the typewriter: if it was a fresh recruit, he would use a pen. Here, it's a whole Decanus, so it's natural he has some privileges
@@nvRanger well, if am not wrong, first town was tribal town, I imagine it being highly possible for tribe people to just live in pre-war buildings, yet I would imagine it more like Sandy buildings or perhaps tents, tho as I said in bracket, buildings ain't bad they just make me wonder. And about guns part, I meant civilians, wouldn't they have to give up there weapons at some point? Or do you think legion care less about it?
@@josh.g2033 If you go to Dry Wells you can see buildings that are larger than the ones featured in this mod that had been busted up AFTER the player drops a nuke on the town. This mod goes to a lot of effort to flesh things out and explain most of what Ankore and myself have stated. I would recommend you play it first, and reserve judgement until afterwards.
Honestly does this have a good legion play through element. Like is it still fun to go here on the legion side. Also If your looking for more legion mods the lore accurate legionary mod shouldn’t conflict and came out this year it’s pretty new and genuinely a good mod
The jumpsuit says Diego in the mod itself, it was retextured and is a custom suit! Retexture mods can override this as it was based on raul’s original suit so it likely is another mod changing it back
Make sure you have NVSE and all the basic script extenders like johnnyguitar as well. You will need those to run a smooth new vegas as the game is now 14 years old!
