Vinceworld reminds me of the really low quality educational games we would play in the computer lab back in the 90's... They were actually a lot like that... Terrible clip art animations, unfunny jokes, bad programming, timed quizzes with no relevance to what was being studied... Looking back on it now I think everyone who made those types of games were on drugs.
Holy shit, Get to School on Time was an indie game originally released on the Xbox Live Indie Games platform way back on 360. I thought it was lost media ever since the XBLIG servers shut down. Crazy.
Fun fact: The Po Boy or Poor Boy was created to give the poor something to eat during the US depression. Restaurants would take left overs from cooking that day and make it in to a sandwich for them to eat. It was so well liked it became a main stay on the menu. My fave is Shrimp Po boys and you haven't lived till you had one from Louisiana or on the Mississippi Gulf coast. Gumbos ,Crawfish Etu Fey, and po boys are very common around the southern coast line.
I went to a Beach Boys concert some time in the last 4 or so years, and I recall Chubby Checker opening for them. They guy was so good at working up the crowd that after he went up on stage, I honestly didn't care about the Beach Boys. He stole the show, dancing like he was in his early 30s. Before this I didn't care about this dudes music, I was a Beach Boys fan. Now I love his music even more than the Beach Boys.

Museum of Anything Goes is still way weirder, imo. The context is a big part of that. Vinceworld is obviously an art piece, and the target audience knew it was going to be Vince Collins weirdness. Anything Goes, though, has this weird ass creepypasta aspect to it: it's an edutainment game with a really unsettling atmosphere, and we still know so little about how it came to be, or who the fuck the target audience for that fever dream even was.

Looking up the guy's works, I think it's all just humor, a big jape, a parody of edutainment software. He has a youtube channel and most of his videos are big shitposts. Honestly, worth a look, they're completely absurd and not the kind of humor you'd expect from someone who is almost 80 years old.

The game basically advertises that for this whole stick lol. For a 2012 Xbox 360/iOS/PC game, it's pretty common to be a super hard game with batshit insanity going on. It's basically capturing the insanity of being late to school, the existential dread, and a crazy-ass "Story".
Was honestly surprised that Dooidoo was such a big fan of it. Dooidoo's games are hilariously intentionally bad and incredibly entertaining because of it. That game was just low-effort, painful, and was trying way too hard to be funny. At least Dweeds can rest easy at night knowing that he's far surpassed his influences.
