One thing i'll add; overwatch on console has a FoV of 91. Which means the 1:1 scope sensitivity is 46.81. So for a 1:1 scope sens you want to multiply your sensitivity by 0.4681 for ana/widow and for ashe its 0.6359
@@vexgolem7060 Its a multiplier. You multiply these two with whatever HIP sensitivity you use. Thats your ADS sensitivity then. See the config video for more details if needed.
math for the readers. Previously we multiplied our sensitivity 50 in my case by 45% to get the ADS sensitivity. But it's now in cm per 360° units after the matrix update. So 1/0.45= 2.22. So multiply this by 50 (my sensitivity) = 111.11 ADS sensitivity for widow. For Ashe it would be 1/0.61=1.64. So then multiply 50 (my sensitivity) by 1.64 for the ADS sensitivity =81.967
I wish there was a way to use the ballistic curves from Apex on the Matrix because on Black Ops 4 I can't aim as good on the matrix without the aaa curve I used even though I can tell the mouse movements are better on the Matrix, I have AA problems.
Hello. so overwatch finally added deadzone settings, this is the only game I use xim for, but I'm sure they're relevent to xim in some way. They are 6 in total: 3 for right stick, 3 for left stick: by default they're: stick custom deadzone inner 0-1 (set to 0.15), stick custom deadzone outer 0-1 (set to 1), and stick custom deadzones between disabled or add or override (set to disabled). so I'm unsure what the most optimal settings are for xim, can you help?

Go 1000Hz and instead use the new beta firmware feature of Smoothing "Synchronous" or custom. I did a dedicated video on that, it brings back the XIM Apex feeling.

You must always change your DPI settings via the PC. The DPI box in the XIM Manager is just there to tell your XIM how much DPI your mouse is running on for the best accuracy.
Great! Finally. The smoothing is very good, but I just wonder.. There is any benefits to use 30k dpi instead of a 12k? I use artisan mousepad so I don't think I'll have jitter problem
Hey, the benefit is you give the XIM more data that it can work with to provide more precise mouse movements. However past 10.000 - 12.000 DPI you dont really notice an increase anymore as the XIM already has plenty of data to work with. But yes if your mouse offers 30.000 DPI and you have such a good mousepad then you can definitely do that! :)
Do you think having a separate configs for Ashe and widow and having the rotational aa active when you aim down sights would be a good idea? I made a separate one for widow that it actives when aiming down and the rest is like how you have it,every time I shoot, so I’m still debating if I should make a separate for ashe
I did it like you, separate configs for HIP heroes, then one for Ashe since her scope has a different sensitivity, and one for Windowmaker/Ana. Via config hotkeys i switch between them. Say press 1 = HIP heroes, 2 = Ashe and so on.
hey the default magnitude in your smart action is 0.3/second when i copy it. should i increase it to 0.06? although yours is not in seconds it's in percent 0.06% i notice? also i just tried this in training range. i can't tell that this orbital aim is doing anything at all but maybe something has changed or maybe i did it wrong somehow? (though I doubt that)
You mean for the orbital aim assist? Just use the lowest value and do the same testrange bot test as i did. Activate the orbital and see if your crosshair tracks the enemies. If it doesnt, raise the magnitude by one and check again. You want the lowest possible magnitude to avoid unnecessary screenshake.

In your Apex video for Overwatch you mentioned the PS4 OW1 profile provided good aim assist, have you played around with this and if so which profile do you recommend? Thanks
The current one is the best in terms of flick accuracy and aim precision. I would only recommend to use an older one if your aim is not so good and you are fine with trading raw accuracy for more aim assist (which adds new problems and in general isnt only a good thing).
@ximcentral I’m purchasing my first ever Xim, specifically the Xim Matrix to use with my PS5. I’m still researching and learning how to use it and set it up. My question for you is can the xim matrix potentially add a lot of extra aim assist for someone who wants to still remain on a controller when playing? And if it does, how strong/drastic can the extra aim assist become? Specifically I want to use it to play overwatch 2 if that makes a difference on the answer. Just want to be safe when setting up my xim. Any insights would be great. Thank you!
You can absolutly do that! I excluded ST discussions from this config tutorial as it would add a whole new complexity on top. Use the ST you have adapted to the most. All config values shown in the video work with any ST! :)
10.5k dpi with 50 mouse sensitivity feels like my mouse doesn’t move at all, is your mouse set to 10.5k dpi in the xim app and in the mouse’s memory as well? Sorry if this sounds like a silly question.
You must set your mouse memory to that DPI value as well or else it will feel super slow. 50cm per 360° is in general not very fast though, so dont expect a fast sensitivity! Always use your own preferred sensitivity!
Hi xim central, im trying to get back the feel of the ADS settings you showed here on the matrix with standard setting but nothing feels right. i used to use 30.5 sens which was perfect and with the new cm/360 i don’t know what to do to get that again
Hey, there is no conversion sheet. But if you used the latest OW2 config and updated your firmware, then your XIM will automatically adjust your sensitivity to be at the very same speed. If you used an older config then the only way is to downgrade and measure your old sensitivity with a ruler on the mousepad so you know the cm/360° value for the new firmware.
I have a question I am using a normal keyboard and mouse so when creating a config do I just use mouse and keyboard or do I mouse keyboard and game pad?
You can use Mouse and Keyboard, but the controller connected to your XIM will not work then. For that you must pick Mouse and Gamepad, which will allow all devices to work at the same time.
Sensitivity values are higher with Matrix. Say a 10.000 DPI XIM Apex Sensitivity of 5 would equal 25 on Matrix. So you dont need as much adjustment precision behind the comma anymore because the scaling is already much larger.

When I make orbital aa in Apex Legend, when the deadzone is set to zero in the settings for the game, it disturbs me a lot. It is constantly scratching circles. Also, should I assign orbital aa to the right button of the mouse or the left button when I fire? I also use the zoom side on the right button.
Turn down all ingame aim assist options. Some games will continue to run a base AA effect, that one you cannot remove then. Use low smoothing values in your XIM config to further reduce the AA.
Quick question. I’m running the latest beta firmware for xim matrix. I have had it happen at times while I’m playing games, my character just keeps moving backwards forever and I can’t control it anymore. No other buttons work other than aiming and shooting. Is there a fix for this? Or is it something that’s an issue right now?
Hey, i have never heard of anything like that yet. When this happens the next time, chan you check the XIM Manager if it says anything specific on the screen? Such as Nav Mode being active, or a certain button being displayed as stuck?

Linear has worse micro movements but feels slightly more responsive. It also has less AA. For the best aiming and AA experience id recommend to use Exponential.
Can you please do destiny 2? I tried orbital but it is too large and can’t go lower than 0.1 also, I did the hip settings for shotgun and I was a little confused for the ads settings.

Sorry I have a new questions for you, I see many people on the XIM forums sharing their config where they use different in-game settings that the recommended ones from the XIM APP. I tried some of these settings that they are sharing on the XIM forums and my aim seems fine with them even tho they are using different in-game settings. What do you think about this? Is it fine to use different in-game settings if the aim feels fine like I said or do you advise against it for some reason.
In a few games this is possible and will still result in a very good aiming experience. In 95% of all cases it will heavily reduce the aim quality though. But yes, there are some exceptions and there you can do it! :)

Hey, that could mean that you mouse runs on a much lower DPI profile. Check if you have saved your DPI changes onto the mouse memory or else they wont carry over to the XIM.
Hey, see the explanations in the video for more information on that, but the first setting i show does basically exactly that, it reduces the AA to realize a closer PC experience.
I had a question I use your config and everyone I use symmetra and place the teleporter it places both immediately. I have no idea why. 2cd question: I have to put my dpi between 1-2k so it’s faster, putting it up to the numbers you say and it’s dirt slow, but I have a good mouse so Idk
Hey, check your button bindings, there is probably a conflict which causes the teleporters to be deployed twice. If you cannot find the cause then bind it to another key and check if that solves it. As for the other question, the XIM DPI value doesnt change your mouse DPI. Its just a box to tell your XIM how much DPI your mouse runs on. Please change your mouse DPI as you normally would, such as via a PC or Mac.
I don’t think any of the buttons have smart actions The soldier anti recoil is on a different config Lastly I changed my dpi to 10,800 on my mouse and saved it the the onboard memory, but once I unplug and connect to xim it’s still dirt slow when I up the dpi to 10,800 on the xim app. I have to use your config but with 1k dpi and 55% sensitivity which makes it quick but not super smooth
@@mattgagnon1104 The XIM DPI value doesnt change your mouse DPI, its just an option to tell your XIM how much DPI you have set your mouse to. As for the button issue. Could you bind a completely new button to this teleporter action? Does that still cause a conflict then?
Yeah I’m not sure what’s happening, no 2 buttons are mapped for symmetra. And I set all of my on board memory settings on mouse for 10k then switch the xim to 10k and it’s dirt slow, I have no clue. But the more I lower the dpi the faster it’s goes
Hi, I’ve been wanting to buy the xim matrix but saw a video that put me off, it is old albeit but just curious, he said there’s input delay and inconsistency in the aim assist, just wondering if this has been fixed
There is no input delay or inconsistency with the aim assist. Matrix has no influence over the inputlag of the game, so its the same as when using a controller directly connected to the console. And aim assist inconsistencies are usually due to network lag, where the game cannot compute the aim assist compensation anymore due to a strongly fluctuating ping. This could also cause delay. So overall it sounds like the person posting these reports suffered from issues that arent related to the XIM.
It works in every game that utilizes an orbital aim assist mechanic. CoD usually has this too. The key you set it to is fully up to you. I would probably bind it again to my shooting button, but you could also bind it to your right mouse button so its always active when you ADS! :)

@@zvibxs9572 Dann reicht es einen Netgear Switch für 20€ auf Amazon zu kaufen welchen du mit dem LAN Anschluss des Verstärkers verbindest. Deine PS5 und Matrix werden dann mit 2 weiteren LAN-Kabeln an den Switch gesteckt. Dadurch versorgt ein LAN-Kabel beide Geräte (Deine PS5 und Matrix).
You can start the firing range and test with the bots in there. Set the lobby settings to moving bots and then increase the magnitude until the crosshair follows them by itself.
Unless Sony changes something in that regard i dont expect that to happen. Brook will soon release a USB stick though that offers PS5 USB compatibility.
Hey I've been testing with the smoothing settings cause I have no idea what they do but I tried 0-100-0 , so 100 response 0 everything else, this seems to lower my aim assist or I might be wrong. Does 100 response lower the aim assist? And if so does 100 precision increase it?
@@leax7485 0 Precision means no smoothing coming from precision, and 100 response means there is also no smoothing being added by response. So you basically play with no smoothing, unless you use easing.
@@XIMCentral but it isn’t tho on matrix, if I multiply that I get a number lower than my cm360 making it faster in turn, therefore it can’t be 1:1 because let’s say I do 22 cm360 by .46 it’ll give me a number that is under 22 to compensate even tho that technically means it’s faster. If you could explain it to me more it would help but I believe it needs to be recalibrated and tested with cm 360
@@aceonconsole6893 cm/360° works the other way round. If you increase it you need more distance on the mousepad to make a 360° so its slower. You therefore dont lower your sensitivity with the multiplier from the video but you raise the cm/360° sensitivity. That way you get the same HIP and ADS sensitivity.
It doesnt have one because the game doesnt have an ADS aim mechanic. HIP = ADS so the same aim mechanic. See this video on what to do in such a case and how to create an ADS config.
I have one question about the sensitivity. I play play pc, and matrix on ps4 doesn’t feel the same, i’m hitting maximum turn speed with every movement. I have 25600 dpi on both mouse and manager, but it doesn’t turn as smoothly on matrix. I’m able to do a 180 with one mouse movement if I do it slow but once i do it fast i can barely turn 90 degrees. Is there a way to make it feel like actual pc?
There isnt, its a console limitation. Every console game has a maximum turnspeed that you cannot exceed (controller stick sensitivity maximum). Turning faster than that isnt possible in the game. Even if you move your mouse faster than that, the game will just ignore it.

You need to use the new beta firmware which introduces a XIM Apex compatibility mode if you want the same feeling and AA as with XIM Apex. Please watch my dedicated video on that so you know what to do with the smoothing to achieve this! :)

@@saxumbios2579 If you use other ingame settings then yeah, the values obviously wont work. You would need to dial them in by yourself (the magnitudes).
@@saxumbios2579 Yes exactly. And the multiplier by which you must change the magnitudes is always the same. So it is sufficient to find it for one magntiude, from which you can then compute the multiplier for all other ones.
I used 1000Hz but if you want a bit more AA then you can also use 250Hz. And yes 10800 DPI, but any DPI between 10000-12000 will give you the same result! :)
For some reason I can only do my configs to 1 decimal point (example 10.5 instead of 10.55) but you can do 2 decimal places in the video. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
Hey I’m having an issue on bo4 with my xim apex that when I slide or jump and try to strafe to kill somebody it doesn’t strafe in time, like I would slide, aim and then try to strafe but then I would get melted so quick because I’m not strafing in time fast enough after I slide, is there a fix to this?
Hey, can you verify that what you are trying to do is also possible on a controller? Your XIM can only do what a controller can do as well in the game.
@@XIMCentral yeah it’s a bit faster on the controller but kinda similar idk what the problem is because I had a ps4 before and had this same issue except worse and now I have a new ps5 new controller everything but the issue is still there idk what the problem is really and it’s so irritating having this disadvantage
I heard there is a workaround to trick it into 250hz, but im not sure how (never read too much into it so i dont remember). Alternatively either use 125Hz or 500Hz. 125Hz would be the closer solution but may be a bit too stuttery.
You no longer use the recommended ingame settings which can introduce mouse acceleration, a lower maximum turnspeed and other potentially unwanted things. If you dont mind those then you can of course do that.
@@ErenYeager-kq4zh That is impossible to say as every person will need a different value. Some are fine with low ones, others arent. Its all about how you play, your hardware, your settings, ...

because the 1000hz of my mouse if I move in circles is perfect, but if I simulate that I'm playing, I mean, I move the mouse as if I were playing, it rarely reaches 1000hz

Hey, check if your mouse DPI changes have been saved onto the mouse memory. Otherwise they wont carry over to your XIM. What you described sounds a lot like your mouse runs on a very low DPI profile.
@@akaysantana8508 The red flashing just means that you move your mouse faster than you can turn in the game. Every console game has a maximum turnspeed that you cannot exceed. Red flashing means you could have moved the mouse also at a slower speed and the ingame turnspeed would have remained the same.

Personally i prefer 0 for all of them, but my assumption is that the average player will enjoy 15 more. Hence i kept it at 15 in the video. Id say experiment with both values and stick to the one you like the most! :)

Go 1000Hz and instead use the new beta firmware feature of Smoothing "Synchronous" or custom. I did a dedicated video on that, it brings back the XIM Apex feeling.

You must always change your DPI settings via the PC. The DPI box in the XIM Manager is just there to tell your XIM how much DPI your mouse is running on for the best accuracy.

The smoothing is very good, but I just wonder.. There is any benefits to use 30k dpi instead of a 12k? I use artisan mousepad so I don't think I'll have jitter problem
Hey, the benefit is you give the XIM more data that it can work with to provide more precise mouse movements. However past 10.000 - 12.000 DPI you dont really notice an increase anymore as the XIM already has plenty of data to work with. But yes if your mouse offers 30.000 DPI and you have such a good mousepad then you can definitely do that! :)
I used to play on 25K on the Apex but now I’m on 12K. For some reason any sens under 50 feels stiff.

Do you think having a separate configs for Ashe and widow and having the rotational aa active when you aim down sights would be a good idea? I made a separate one for widow that it actives when aiming down and the rest is like how you have it,every time I shoot, so I’m still debating if I should make a separate for ashe
I did it like you, separate configs for HIP heroes, then one for Ashe since her scope has a different sensitivity, and one for Windowmaker/Ana. Via config hotkeys i switch between them. Say press 1 = HIP heroes, 2 = Ashe and so on.

hey the default magnitude in your smart action is 0.3/second when i copy it. should i increase it to 0.06? although yours is not in seconds it's in percent 0.06% i notice? also i just tried this in training range. i can't tell that this orbital aim is doing anything at all but maybe something has changed or maybe i did it wrong somehow? (though I doubt that)
You mean for the orbital aim assist? Just use the lowest value and do the same testrange bot test as i did. Activate the orbital and see if your crosshair tracks the enemies. If it doesnt, raise the magnitude by one and check again. You want the lowest possible magnitude to avoid unnecessary screenshake.

The current one is the best in terms of flick accuracy and aim precision. I would only recommend to use an older one if your aim is not so good and you are fine with trading raw accuracy for more aim assist (which adds new problems and in general isnt only a good thing).

What error message do you get? For these codes to work your Matrix firmware must be on the new beta version.

You can use AA boosting smart actions on a controller too such as the orbital AA one shown in this video. So yes thats possible! :)
I was using ow1 1.3st on xim apex. Should I use ow1 1.3st with xim matrix to get the feeling back like before? Or should I use ow2 st?
You can absolutly do that! I excluded ST discussions from this config tutorial as it would add a whole new complexity on top. Use the ST you have adapted to the most. All config values shown in the video work with any ST! :)

10.5k dpi with 50 mouse sensitivity feels like my mouse doesn’t move at all, is your mouse set to 10.5k dpi in the xim app and in the mouse’s memory as well? Sorry if this sounds like a silly question.
You must set your mouse memory to that DPI value as well or else it will feel super slow. 50cm per 360° is in general not very fast though, so dont expect a fast sensitivity! Always use your own preferred sensitivity!
Hi xim central, im trying to get back the feel of the ADS settings you showed here on the matrix with standard setting but nothing feels right. i used to use 30.5 sens which was perfect and with the new cm/360 i don’t know what to do to get that again
Hey, there is no conversion sheet. But if you used the latest OW2 config and updated your firmware, then your XIM will automatically adjust your sensitivity to be at the very same speed. If you used an older config then the only way is to downgrade and measure your old sensitivity with a ruler on the mousepad so you know the cm/360° value for the new firmware.
I have a question I am using a normal keyboard and mouse so when creating a config do I just use mouse and keyboard or do I mouse keyboard and game pad?
You can use Mouse and Keyboard, but the controller connected to your XIM will not work then. For that you must pick Mouse and Gamepad, which will allow all devices to work at the same time.

Why are there no two numbers after a comma like xim apex?
Sensitivity values are higher with Matrix. Say a 10.000 DPI XIM Apex Sensitivity of 5 would equal 25 on Matrix. So you dont need as much adjustment precision behind the comma anymore because the scaling is already much larger.

When I make orbital aa in Apex Legend, when the deadzone is set to zero in the settings for the game, it disturbs me a lot. It is constantly scratching circles. Also, should I assign orbital aa to the right button of the mouse or the left button when I fire? I also use the zoom side on the right button.
Why would you use such ingame settings? You must use the recommended ones from the XIM website.

Turn down all ingame aim assist options. Some games will continue to run a base AA effect, that one you cannot remove then. Use low smoothing values in your XIM config to further reduce the AA.
Quick question. I’m running the latest beta firmware for xim matrix. I have had it happen at times while I’m playing games, my character just keeps moving backwards forever and I can’t control it anymore. No other buttons work other than aiming and shooting. Is there a fix for this? Or is it something that’s an issue right now?
Hey, i have never heard of anything like that yet. When this happens the next time, chan you check the XIM Manager if it says anything specific on the screen? Such as Nav Mode being active, or a certain button being displayed as stuck?

I’ve been using the Overwatch 2 (Linear) config on xim, is there a difference than the Overwatch 2 (Exponential) config that you use in this vid?
Linear has worse micro movements but feels slightly more responsive. It also has less AA. For the best aiming and AA experience id recommend to use Exponential.

Can you please do destiny 2? I tried orbital but it is too large and can’t go lower than 0.1 also, I did the hip settings for shotgun and I was a little confused for the ads settings.

Sorry I have a new questions for you, I see many people on the XIM forums sharing their config where they use different in-game settings that the recommended ones from the XIM APP. I tried some of these settings that they are sharing on the XIM forums and my aim seems fine with them even tho they are using different in-game settings. What do you think about this? Is it fine to use different in-game settings if the aim feels fine like I said or do you advise against it for some reason.
In a few games this is possible and will still result in a very good aiming experience. In 95% of all cases it will heavily reduce the aim quality though. But yes, there are some exceptions and there you can do it! :)

Hey, that could mean that you mouse runs on a much lower DPI profile. Check if you have saved your DPI changes onto the mouse memory or else they wont carry over to the XIM.

Hey, see the explanations in the video for more information on that, but the first setting i show does basically exactly that, it reduces the AA to realize a closer PC experience.

I use your config and everyone I use symmetra and place the teleporter it places both immediately. I have no idea why.
2cd question: I have to put my dpi between 1-2k so it’s faster, putting it up to the numbers you say and it’s dirt slow, but I have a good mouse so Idk
Hey, check your button bindings, there is probably a conflict which causes the teleporters to be deployed twice. If you cannot find the cause then bind it to another key and check if that solves it. As for the other question, the XIM DPI value doesnt change your mouse DPI. Its just a box to tell your XIM how much DPI your mouse runs on. Please change your mouse DPI as you normally would, such as via a PC or Mac.

Lastly I changed my dpi to 10,800 on my mouse and saved it the the onboard memory, but once I unplug and connect to xim it’s still dirt slow when I up the dpi to 10,800 on the xim app. I have to use your config but with 1k dpi and 55% sensitivity which makes it quick but not super smooth
@@mattgagnon1104 The XIM DPI value doesnt change your mouse DPI, its just an option to tell your XIM how much DPI you have set your mouse to. As for the button issue. Could you bind a completely new button to this teleporter action? Does that still cause a conflict then?
Yeah I’m not sure what’s happening, no 2 buttons are mapped for symmetra.
And I set all of my on board memory settings on mouse for 10k then switch the xim to 10k and it’s dirt slow, I have no clue.

Hi, I’ve been wanting to buy the xim matrix but saw a video that put me off, it is old albeit but just curious, he said there’s input delay and inconsistency in the aim assist, just wondering if this has been fixed
There is no input delay or inconsistency with the aim assist. Matrix has no influence over the inputlag of the game, so its the same as when using a controller directly connected to the console. And aim assist inconsistencies are usually due to network lag, where the game cannot compute the aim assist compensation anymore due to a strongly fluctuating ping. This could also cause delay. So overall it sounds like the person posting these reports suffered from issues that arent related to the XIM.

It works in every game that utilizes an orbital aim assist mechanic. CoD usually has this too. The key you set it to is fully up to you. I would probably bind it again to my shooting button, but you could also bind it to your right mouse button so its always active when you ADS! :)

Thats not possible to say unless more is known about their detection mechanics. If in doubt as much as you can tolerate id say.

Hey, was genau willst du machen? Das Standard-Setup ist 1x LAN-Kabel von der PS5 zum Router, und 1x LAN-Kabel vom XIM Matrix zum Router.

You can start the firing range and test with the bots in there. Set the lobby settings to moving bots and then increase the magnitude until the crosshair follows them by itself.

Unless Sony changes something in that regard i dont expect that to happen. Brook will soon release a USB stick though that offers PS5 USB compatibility.

Hey I've been testing with the smoothing settings cause I have no idea what they do but I tried 0-100-0 , so 100 response 0 everything else, this seems to lower my aim assist or I might be wrong. Does 100 response lower the aim assist? And if so does 100 precision increase it?

Hey, always use your own preferred mouse sensitivity. That way you have the best accuracy. And yes my sensitivity is rather slow! :)
Any conversion methods to getting your widow and Ashe sens to 1:1 most of us use snipers and to make a ads config when the zoom is at 100%
Use the sensitivity multipliers mentioned in the video to have the same 1:1 sensitivity between HIP and ADS for these heroes.
@@XIMCentral but it isn’t tho on matrix, if I multiply that I get a number lower than my cm360 making it faster in turn, therefore it can’t be 1:1 because let’s say I do 22 cm360 by .46 it’ll give me a number that is under 22 to compensate even tho that technically means it’s faster. If you could explain it to me more it would help but I believe it needs to be recalibrated and tested with cm 360
@@aceonconsole6893 cm/360° works the other way round. If you increase it you need more distance on the mousepad to make a 360° so its slower. You therefore dont lower your sensitivity with the multiplier from the video but you raise the cm/360° sensitivity. That way you get the same HIP and ADS sensitivity.
I added a new overwatch 2 (exponental) config, but I can't see the ADS config page, I have the hip and the mappings page, what can I do?
It doesnt have one because the game doesnt have an ADS aim mechanic. HIP = ADS so the same aim mechanic. See this video on what to do in such a case and how to create an ADS config.
I have one question about the sensitivity. I play play pc, and matrix on ps4 doesn’t feel the same, i’m hitting maximum turn speed with every movement. I have 25600 dpi on both mouse and manager, but it doesn’t turn as smoothly on matrix. I’m able to do a 180 with one mouse movement if I do it slow but once i do it fast i can barely turn 90 degrees. Is there a way to make it feel like actual pc?
There isnt, its a console limitation. Every console game has a maximum turnspeed that you cannot exceed (controller stick sensitivity maximum). Turning faster than that isnt possible in the game. Even if you move your mouse faster than that, the game will just ignore it.

@@ixdrea6688 That means you move the mouse faster than you can turn in the game. Every game has a maximum turnspeed that you cannot exceed. If you move the mouse faster than that then the XIM blinks red and it will feel very slow. Either move your mouse slower or reduce your XIM Sensitivity. This cannot be fixed, its a game limitation.

You need to use the new beta firmware which introduces a XIM Apex compatibility mode if you want the same feeling and AA as with XIM Apex. Please watch my dedicated video on that so you know what to do with the smoothing to achieve this! :)

With XIM Apex yes, but with Matrix this doesnt apply anymore! Its the same for all platforms now, and more DPI is better.

There is no problem with using a higher mouse polling rate. So go 500Hz or 1000Hz! :)

XIM Matrix doesnt need any PS5 compatibility adapters such as the Beloader.

@@saxumbios2579 If you use other ingame settings then yeah, the values obviously wont work. You would need to dial them in by yourself (the magnitudes).

@@saxumbios2579 Yes exactly. And the multiplier by which you must change the magnitudes is always the same. So it is sufficient to find it for one magntiude, from which you can then compute the multiplier for all other ones.

Yes you can do that via a smart action. You could also just switch them via the ingame settings.

I used 1000Hz but if you want a bit more AA then you can also use 250Hz. And yes 10800 DPI, but any DPI between 10000-12000 will give you the same result! :)

You just have to inverse them since with cm per 360° a higher value is now slower, and a lower value is faster! :)
For some reason I can only do my configs to 1 decimal point (example 10.5 instead of 10.55) but you can do 2 decimal places in the video. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
What firmware are you on? You can check that in the top right options (info/about).

Hey I’m having an issue on bo4 with my xim apex that when I slide or jump and try to strafe to kill somebody it doesn’t strafe in time, like I would slide, aim and then try to strafe but then I would get melted so quick because I’m not strafing in time fast enough after I slide, is there a fix to this?
Hey, can you verify that what you are trying to do is also possible on a controller? Your XIM can only do what a controller can do as well in the game.
@@XIMCentral yeah it’s a bit faster on the controller but kinda similar idk what the problem is because I had a ps4 before and had this same issue except worse and now I have a new ps5 new controller everything but the issue is still there idk what the problem is really and it’s so irritating having this disadvantage

For both. The PC version when using a controller runs the console aim mechanic.
Another question, my mouse is deathadder v3 pro. It doesn't have 250hz polling rate. What I can do? It's has 125, 500 and 1000.
I heard there is a workaround to trick it into 250hz, but im not sure how (never read too much into it so i dont remember). Alternatively either use 125Hz or 500Hz. 125Hz would be the closer solution but may be a bit too stuttery.
what happens if u set scope sens in game for widow/ana/ashe to their sensitivities (47 and 64) instead of making a new config for each of them
You no longer use the recommended ingame settings which can introduce mouse acceleration, a lower maximum turnspeed and other potentially unwanted things. If you dont mind those then you can of course do that.

Yes, you may still need a bit of Aim SAB though.

because the 1000hz of my mouse if I move in circles is perfect, but if I simulate that I'm playing, I mean, I move the mouse as if I were playing, it rarely reaches 1000hz

In game my sensitivity is insanely slow with these settings and when i change my mouse sensitivity to 2000 it feels normal but my xim flashes red and traps sometimes?
Hey, check if your mouse DPI changes have been saved onto the mouse memory. Otherwise they wont carry over to your XIM. What you described sounds a lot like your mouse runs on a very low DPI profile.

@@akaysantana8508 The red flashing just means that you move your mouse faster than you can turn in the game. Every console game has a maximum turnspeed that you cannot exceed. Red flashing means you could have moved the mouse also at a slower speed and the ingame turnspeed would have remained the same.

Make slow but constant mouse swipes instead of fast flicks. Those translate much better into quick turns than flicks.

You said you were going to keep both sab values at 0 yet you kept the first one at 15. Is there a reason for this?
Personally i prefer 0 for all of them, but my assumption is that the average player will enjoy 15 more. Hence i kept it at 15 in the video. Id say experiment with both values and stick to the one you like the most! :)
